Him and his team came in early today which was Saturday morning and knocked out the project in 4.5 hours. There workmanship was absolutely awesome and professional. I had them buy the insulation and products to do the job as this is there business and they know what to get and order based on the square footage. They got to my house and from beginning to end they never stopped working. I made them breakfast and brought it to them as they never stopped working and figured they deserved some good energy food to continue the good work ! There price was WAY better then any of the other companies. They took the job and showed up on time and completed the work. My attic was warm and cozy within hours of them leaving. Insulation is the way to go if you don't have it . I am sure my fuel bill will go right down now and my heat will stay in my house and not out . Then I had him come back for a MassSave insulation job, which included some non-MassSave tasks (rerouting the range hood vent, building a raised attic floor, fixing gutters). We walked around the house and I noted small things that needed fixing, and Darren said no problem, just ask Rodney to take care of them when he comes out to do the work. I signed a fairly priced bid and, fast forward a few weeks, had the jobs done. The crew was fantastic--on time, professional, efficient, respectful of the property and me, and communicated very easily, explaining well and answering all my questions. They left a few nails on the driveway as well. They damaged our screen door but did return the following week to repair it after we complained. What's infuriating is that we had to go out and purchase magnetic sweepers and spend days picking up the nails they left all over our yard! The pictures show the hundreds of nails we had to pickup! We're still finding nails to this day, weeks after they left! They also damaged two of our heat pumps! They improperly installed the drip edges and we had rainwater flowing BEHIND the gutter and down the side of our house! We would not hire them again to shingle a dog house!

They seal every leak and crevice before the insulation begins, and Paul personally comes back and measures/inspects the work. I needed to get my attic's plywood floor removed before they could add insulation, and John P Insulation said they could remove it for me and would quote me a price for that separately from the Mass Save project. They sent Eric out to my house to look at the attic and he said it was pretty straightforward and that I should expect a quote very soon. Fast forward to the day before they were scheduled to come out and actually do the job, and I still had no quote to remove the plywood despite having followed up a couple of days prior via phone asking about the quote. I called them and cancelled the job, and I had Mass Save assign me to a different contractor.
