The burrito was nicely sized (7" long x 3" dia.) and pretty tasty, with a good portion of my choice of the seven meat options (chicken), rice, fresh lettuce, sour cream, and picante. Unfortunately, the burrito should have also included beans, and they were not present. I ordered fairly early in the day, so maybe the beans weren't ready. Otherwise, they were nicely organized, with a napkin dispenser, condiments, utensils, and a trash can available. Bacon-wrapped, loaded to the point of disrespect, crunchy, creamy, spicy -- it's like someone took every good idea they've ever had at 1:48am and just said "yeah, put it all on there." And somehow... it works. Perfectly. I was covered in it. Hands a mess. Probably had sauce on my face. Didn't care. Not one bit. But here's the thing -- it wasn't just the dog. The truck was glowing in the middle of the night, clean, bright against everything around it, music blasting with accordion and trumpets like a street party dropped into an industrial block. Cars pulling in and out, people lingering, that low hum of the city still awake. The crew was awesome. Just genuinely good people. We pulled lawn chairs out of the back of the car and sat there in that lot eating like kings. That's the kind of food you remember. Not because it's fancy. Not because it's trying to impress you. The bun is also grilled and sautéed onions, bell peppers and jalapeños are toppings of choice along with mustard, ketchup, mayo and flaming hot cheetos. I did mine with everything minus the cheetos. Beautiful!! At only $6 I felt like I had swindled the owners. A product this big, bold and beautiful could fetch a ten-spot in a sit down diner. The two people operating the grill were some of the nicest folks you could meet. I will definitely be looking for them every time I'm driving down the BLVD.

I really need to stop ordering tostados; is there really a way to consume them without looking like a slob? The shredded beef was good, but the 2 tacos were stand outs with plenty of meat, perfectly grilled tortillas and great red and green sauce. The total for all 3 items and a bottled water was $6.00 including tax - a steal!
