I decided to use Jones Florist for ordering a family stand-up spray for my grandmother's funeral. The casket spray was purchased by my family as part of a package through Murray Brothers Funeral Home. So I decided to use them also for the my spray. It was very difficult to contact Polly (owner) using two different numbers. It went straight to voicemail and it was full so no message could be left. Next the day before the funeral she calls asking me what was the color of the flowers I ordered. I specifically requested the flower be there at the viewing and they were not. Lastly i requested to place a family ribbon on the spray. That was not done. The only way I was able to reach her was through the funeral home. She is not accessible for any communication. I definitely would not recommend their service to anyone. read more

Mrs. Polly is one of the best florists in town. I hired her for several parties for Mayor Kasim Reed, Mrs. Clara Funderburg, the National Bar Association, The Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Banquet, and several church events. Her taste and presentation of flowers has never failed. I am much younger than she is but I find her amusing and very easy to work with. read more

All I can say is Ms. Jones @ Jones Florist on Cascade should not be in the people business nor dealing with the public. We order a flower the cost 173.50. Per the website it would be delivered by 10am April 23. Well needless to say this didn't happen! We were told by Ms. Jones the flower we choose for our Aunt's funeral was to Manly and she didn't have the gladiolas and she could substitute the flowers this is 4pm Friday afternoon. I ask Ms. Jones how was she going to compensate us for the error? Ready she said I'm not and I only got 150.00 for the sale. Well the ending to the story DO NOT USE JONES FLORIST. When I went to their website they have 8 sympathy flowers and none like that was like our purchase. read more

Jones Flowers, Inc. lacks professionalism. I chose them mainly for location and convenience. I ordered a standing spray by phone (sight unseen) and requested delivery to the funeral home. I held the line for a really long time before getting helped. I was asked, "What do you want the banner to say?" I told them and was then given the choice of three price points....$85, $110 (I think), and $125. I chose $125. The spray looked a bit sparse. NOTHING special, but the flowers looked fresh enough not to bother complaining. A month later, when checking my bank statement the charge was shown as $151. When I called, the owner told me that I should have known that I would be charged delivery and tax. She said, "Every business charges tax." Obviously. HOWEVER, shouldn't the customer expect to be quoted the total price including all charges? When I was told $125, that's what I expected. The cost was never itemized. I was never quoted a banner fee or a delivery fee or anything additonal. She insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about and "I told you the total price." I thought that statement was strange. I mean, how in the world could she possibly remember exactly what she told one random customer a month ago? I reminded her that "even if we've done something perfectly a thousand times, that doesn't mean we can't ever mess up" In a half-hearted attempt to appease me, I was offered a small refund. They never actually gave it to me. Whatever. read more

If you want a headache, you want Jones Flowers. I have never experienced such BAD customer service. On day of delivery, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with the delivery driver who couldn't find the location. I've never been to the location of the home the flowers were to be delivered, but I pulled up Google Maps and easily directed him. I had to stay on the phone and navigate him street by street to get him there. Then, at 9:30 at night, he told me he was too scared to go deliver it. I said ok, try again tomorrow. The next day he called back during daylight hours and said he found the house. He stated he WOULD NOT go to the house because "even in the daytime it's too scary still". When I called in to ask what was needed to get it done, the woman on the phone was even worse. She said she needed the number of the homeowner (a co-worker who lost her mother in a tragic accident, I was sending flowers for condolences) in order to find the house. I said the driver knew where the house was, he said he WOULDN'T go, not couldn't. Then I asked if she needed to get the homeowner's permission. She said no, just her number to find the house. When I repeated that he knew where the house was, the woman on the phone stopped me to say "We will just refund this because YOU won't give us the number of the homeowner." Then she proceeded to say she would be charging us TWO delivery fees of $10.00 because the driver went out twice. She didn't even give me a chance to attempt to provide the homeowner's number. Her attitude on the phone was horrendous. I order a lot of flowers and arrangement on behalf of my executives and have never ran into such an issue. I can't believe they would not only treat me like that, but then have the gall to charge two delivery fees. If you can, GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Ms. Polly did a beautiful job on my wedding bouquet and my throw bouquet. She's very straight to the point and delivered exactly what we discussed! I would recommend using them but I would recommend going in person with pictures to fully discuss what you want. read more

During the 4:00 hour I received a BLAND email stating that my selection was not available. The delivery was to be made 2 days later. When I called, the lady seemed to be unconcerned that she couldn't accommodate me. I was told she had already been to get flowers for the week and would not be returning to the store. A few years ago I requested after purchasing an order From This Woman, simply to take a photo please and thank you of the delivery of the floral arrangement for My Dear Mother's Grave marker if she and her staff would be so kind. She refused so now I just go to A Local Supermarket, even Kroger's and buy memorial flowers for my parents. I requested yesterday that a photo be taken at the Sunset View Cemetery of My ATL raised Dad and within a hr. They made time to send it and a map of how to find his plot. I hope Mrs. Jones will adjust her attitude problem I don't live in the cities of their enternments and it was comforting to know The CA. Cemetery was so caring and understanding and This Owner didn't give af, just wants money and is a total dawg. So best to buy your Store Market Flores like someone told me that heifer ain't deliver no flowers. Just stole my lil hard to come by 120+ dollars. They offer one thing online at a certain price then call back stating you have to pay more or they will not do the purchase. They also inform you that the online prices do not include a minimum 15 delivery fee! Very rude employees... When I questioned them she emphatically stated that I was too much trouble and she would just cancel my order. Buyer beware.. Steer clear. read more

DO NOT order anything from this flower shop. Unprofessional with terrible customer service. I was looking to surprise my Aunt flowers on her birthday. I live in a different state so I was using the Internet through teleflowers but even called ahead to make sure they could deliver same day to that address. They did NOT have the flowers that were advertised on the site, they also charged me MORE money for a similar arrangement. I requested they leave the flowers at the door (not knowing at the time my aunt had moved). According to the employee that dropped them off, there was a lock on the door, and a for sale sign in the yard but POLLY (the staff member) left them anyway. She claims to have called the recipient multiple times but didn't think once to call me the SENDER that paid for the flowers. She proceeded to lecture me about how people should pick up their phones for unknown numbers, how she had to close the shop to make the delivery, how she wasted her time and money doing it, how she didn't even make a profit, and asked me what I thought she should do. She sounded older so I tried my best to be respectful, and just said I was hoping she would work with me. TOTAL WASTE of 50 dollars and my Aunt never got her flowers. Ordered flowers on Friday for a co-worker that had surgery. The flowers were supposed to be delivered Saturday. They were not. I found out Monday morning that she had not received the flowers and tried to contact the florist that morning and afternoon. I could not reach them on the phone. The florist calls my co worker at 3:30 (that is pretty much the whole day) to let my her know that the flowers were out for delivery on Saturday and the driver brought them back, but she would deliver the flowers personally on Tuesday. I tried calling back several times after her phone call to no avail. What happened to Monday? I will never use this florist again. If this is the way they conduct business they do the world a favor and close their doors now. Shoddy service is not the way you stay in business. Wish I had read the reviews first. read more

I ordered flowers based on their website. Even though the site allowed me to set up deliver for a Saturday, I received a call from the owner saying she would not be working. I explained that the website allowed me to set up and pay for flowers. She went back and looked at what I had ordered and said "I can't do this arrangement for that price anyway. Flowers have already gone up for Mother's Day and I can't do this arrangement for that price". Since when does a business not honor what is posted on their website. After going back a forth, I told her I would find someone else. I've owned a business before and I know that customer service counts. Never, ever would I have told a customer that I would not honor what is posted on my website. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing Jones Flowers ever again!!!
