My experience with the service department at Jones Ford in Savannah, TN has been extremely disappointing and, at times, alarming. I purchased a new F-250 in 2022 and also paid for a Ford total service/maintenance plan with the expectation that required inspections and maintenance would be performed thoroughly and professionally. Based on my experience, that did not happen. On multiple occasions, important maintenance items appear to have been overlooked. The most serious example occurred when I was stranded in Florida after my brakes failed just days after the truck had been serviced. Both rotors had to be replaced at a cost of $1,100. For a vehicle that had supposedly just been inspected, this was unacceptable and raised serious concerns about the quality and reliability of the service I had been receiving. After I returned to Savannah, I was assured by the service manager that they would "make it right." However, despite several follow-up requests, that commitment was never honored. That experience left me not only frustrated, but also with very little confidence in the dealership's willingness to stand behind its work or its promises. In another instance, a service technician brought my engine air filter to the waiting room and joked that I should change it more often. The filter was extremely dirty, even though inspection and replacement of items like that were supposed to be covered under my service agreement. That incident further reinforced my concern that routine maintenance included in the plan was simply not being completed as represented. I do not make complaints lightly, but my repeated experiences with this service department have convinced me that I cannot trust them with my vehicle. I will not return, and I would strongly caution others to carefully review the work being performed and to question whether promised inspections and maintenance are actually being done. read more

4/2025- flew in from out of state & bought a 2023 expedition. We noticed on the test drive a broken part, they said they were a small dealership/didn't have the part and would pay for it to be fixed at our local ford. On our drive home, we found another big issue & contacted jones again, they said they would fix it too. Our local ford, estimated the repairs @ $6,000 (which I think was a stretch). All the way up till this point Jones said they'd pay to fix it. As soon as the estimate came in, they started dodging my calls: out to lunch, off work, in a meeting etc. I pulled my car out of my local dealership, Jones (Mike sales manager) said they would mail me parts and cover the diagnostic fee...well it's been 3 months and it's been crickets, parts never sent. So I opened a credit card dispute on my down payment to cover parts & diagnostics. I was totally willing to work with them but they dropped me like a bad date. Overall the car has been good....after I made the repairs. We did get it at a good price. But come one, have integrity and keep your word, horrible customer service after the purchase. read more

In 2020 we were looking for a Ford Expedition Max and found one that was two hours away at Jones Ford. We worked out all the details over the phone and through email, then made the drive to pick up our new to us Expedition. But that's not where our great experience ended. Four years later the transmission went out, so I had it towed back to Jones Ford. Not only did they get the transmission and cam phasers replaced through the third party warranty company, they got it repaired quicker than expected and even delivered it to us in Memphis. I have a ford truck, and lived in Savannah going on 4 years now. It just made sense to get work done on my truck there. Oil pan seal leaking is a big problem on my model. Well during an oil change. They told me not only was the oil pan leaking but also the main seal. Quoted me just shy of $2000 to repair. Took it to dealership 75 miles away. Spent $450 on oil pan seal and have had no issue for over 18 months. Most recently, bought a battery from Jones Ford and they wouldn't honor Ford Mfg coupon for battery for $179. Charged $329 but was "kind enough" to knock off the $5 shop fee. Then mangled my carfax for life report. It is my opinion this dealership is nothing but inept criminals, and should be investigated and punished read more

I worked a deal long distance and then when I got there to close the deal a few things changed. They corrected all of them on the spot but left the extended warranty deductible at $100 vice the $0 we agreed to in writing. The closing guy "Phil" initialed and wrote zero on the contract and said he would follow up and correct it later. Repeated calls and emails and no correction. Sad. I would not recommend these guys to a friend. read more

My used truck purchase experience with Jones has been the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I've never had to work so much harder than my salesperson (Jamie) to complete the buying process. Every person I've spoke to has been very polite and very positive, but the follow-through I've experienced with EVERY employee here has been terrible. Seriously, it's been insultingly bad. Communication from them to me has been terrible, and communication amongst themselves has been equally as terrible. I've never purchased a used vehicle with so many issues, much less one that was claimed to have had a "100+ point inspection". If it weren't for the delivery driver failing to take my down payment check with him, I'm confident Jones wouldn't have helped me in ANY way. My truck lost all power on three occasions within two days of taking delivery and fluids were steadily leaking out of it. On the 2nd day, I called my salesperson (Jamie) for help. I didn't hear back for two days, so I reached back out and was advised to take it to a local shop. I did, and the shop contacted Jones with a repair estimate. James Grey declined the repair, and informed the shop he would have the truck picked up and repaired at Jones. This never happened, and I didn't hear anything from Jones for 5 days (when they realized they hadn't received my down payment). By this time I had already paid the diagnostic fee to pick up the truck, and ordered the parts needed for repair. Evan apologized and said he would send a driver the next day to pick up the check, and give me a reimbursement check for costs I've incurred. Three Fridays had passed since my last contact with Jones. The reimbursement check arrived out of the blue via FedEx, and suddenly I get bombarded with calls, texts and emails from James Grey threatening legal action if they don't receive my check(all in a 10 minute time span). I mailed my check to them, and now this transaction has finally been completed. I'm still performing weekly repairs on the truck (this week is the water pump, last week was the valve covers). I'm hopeful that it will be completely repaired before summer. read more

I find the employees at this dealership to be very courteous and helpful but either the sales manager or general manager are guilty of deceptive advertising and predatory lending. I drove by the lot today and saw a Ford Maverick on the lot. I went home and looked it up on the website for Jones Ford. The website showed an MSRP of $26,825. The price seemed reasonable so I went down to the dealership to take a look at it. The salesperson was very helpful and my wife and I took it for test drive. We were pleased with the vehicle and when the salesperson asked if we were interested in seeing the numbers to purchase it we said yes. Unfortunately, when the salesperson brought us the printout with the numbers on it the price had changed to $31,825, apparently they add a $5,000 premium for hard to get vehicles. I wouldn't have even come to the dealership if they had posted their price on the website. We left shortly after that. The predatory lending practices came into play when I purchased a Ford F150 back in April this year when I was in desperate need of a vehicle after my three vehicles were totaled in the tornado. I was told unless I financed thru the dealership my cost would be $1,000 more. I financed thru the dealership but afterward found out that I could finance thru different banks for at 3%. read more

I bought a car from the dealership April 1, 2022 I dealt with a salesman name Paul I live here in Florida. I notified Paul 10 days prior to my temporary tag expiring he says not a problem .I will have it sent to you next day that apirl 29 Friday here it is 8 May and I run a small business that requires a vehicle and I have no temporary tag which is ended up costing me a lot of money this past Friday whitch would be 6 of may that close to end of business that they mailed it to the Walton County tag office. Why they would mail it to the Walton County fl tag office .When they have my physical address and I told them to mail it to my physical address is beyond me. I know we're in some tough times but when a customer tells you 10 days prior to your tag expiring it expired May 1 here it is May 8 and hopefully I will have this problem resolved may 9. I bought my used car from them, & afterwards, they promised to help me with problems I was having & then, nothing...I'd call, they'd promise, & NEVER follow through. I think Ford should be told about this group. They come across as all friendly, but they betrayed my trust by repeatedly promising then NEVER getting what they promised done. Buying my truck was a good experience. After the purchase was piss poor. When buying, we agreed that jones ford would fix a few dings and scratches. I called a couple weeks after purchase and was told by Luke to bring my truck in any day. So I drove 2 hours on a Thursday to just be told the dent and ding man was only there on Tuesdays. Ok. Kinda upset, but the lady up front arranged for them to bring me a loaner truck on the following Monday and to take my truck back to the dealer for it to be fixed on Tuesday. Wednesday rolls around and my truck was not fixed! Why the hell not? Dent and ding man is only there on Tuesdays????? I do not recommend. Bought a truck with Jones Ford (out of state) with an extended lifetime warranty. 4 days after our purchase, the transmission went out in the truck and there was also repairs that needed to be done on the motor. They said they would not pay to have another dealership fix this issue, they would come pick the truck up and fix it in house. They would also provide us with another vehicle to drive in the mean time. This never happened. After days of calling and being promised a driver, no one ever showed up to pick the truck up or deliver us a rental to drive. We have been back and forth with Jones ford and "Evan" the manager for over 2 weeks. Finally, "Evan" gave us the go ahead to have the Chevy dealership fix the truck since they could not hold up their end of the deal. Chevy fixes the truck. Now, Jones Ford is refusing to pay and we are without a vehicle. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. 0/10. read more

First, they asked if we would put $500 to hold a truck til we got there to look at it. Which I told my husband was shady. Don't know if you get the $500 back if you decided you didn't even like the vehicle. Their concern was they were selling vehicles so quickly and we lived almost 2 hours away. When we got there, the staff was very polite and helpful. Our salesman was excellent. We couldn't get together on the price with our trade-in. Which happens. They didn't offer anywhere close to what our vehicle was worth. They encouraged you to finance which was a $1,000 cheaper than paying cash. Strange! Their closing remarks were they didn't make money off their vehicles, in fact, they were priced so "aggressively" they lost money. But yet they own 4 dealerships in Savannah, at least one in Lexington and one in Humboldt. The not getting together on the price wasn't what was so surprising, it was the other that was so laughable. We went somewhere else, bought a better vehicle for a lower price. So worked out well. And still, Jones's salesman is still calling us. read more
