I found the gun department staffed with EXPERIENCED and attentive employees who participate in shooting activities like I enjoy and were able to offer a discount that made a good deal even better. I feel that if you exhibit the safety habits that make everyone on both sides of the counter feel comfortable and show employees that you would not be a danger to yourself or others you will find employees who are happy to serve and even train you depending on your experience level. Don't expect the same happy response from that employee if you show disrespect for gun safety or have nefarious ownership reasons because those employees protect my rights to legal ownership and the stores best interests which I rely on and keeps me coming back when ever the need dictates.

My husband and I were in Tampa for Memorial Day weekend and wanted to get a Friday dive in. After…read morecalling a couple of shops, we found that many of them don't go out on weekdays! How disappointing! But Narcosis was ready to go! We signed up for a 2-tank shallow morning dive trip. Nice and early. We met at the shop at 0600 to pick up our weights and tanks. Then we drove down the street in Tarpon Springs to meet the boat at the docks. The staff was so fun, and so easy-going, while also focused on safety. I can honestly say that I usually have a little anxiety before dives, but I experienced NONE with these guys. It was so relaxing and fun! One of the staff members was also helpful in giving me tips to roll off the boat since I usually step off. My mind kept me hesitating thinking that I'd hit the boat on the way down. The dive master did not rush me (but I didn't take forever either lol) in rolling off the boat. We lucked out with conditions. Water visibility was great. Water was calm and warm. The critters were out and about. You couldn't ask for more! Next time in Tampa, we'll definitely be back for another adventure. Don't let the interesting name choice hold you back. Wow where to start...Deep Six Divers has made getting scuba certified such an incredible, fun, and…read moreinformative process. I've always heard great things about this shop, so when I finally made the decision to get certified, I knew exactly where to go. The knowledge of the staff and the passion they have for diving is apparent in everything they do. I have learned SO much and felt so confident in my ability to dive by the end of the class that getting in the ocean and applying my skills was no problem at all. They take the time to help you get fitted to the gear that you need for class and any other items you may need. John is the shop owner and he has always been so nice every time I've been in the shop. Brant was the primary person giving lectures and teaching the skills in our class, he is in the process of becoming an instructor and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. Don was observing Brant during our classes to help him get his instructor certification; Don took us on our checkout dive in the Keys as well and you can tell that he is so passionate about his career in diving and instructing. He kept everything fun and explained things in a way that was understandable and made sure that any questions we had were answered without making anyone feel silly for asking. We've also gotten help from Christina, Hector, Tyler, and Ryan(and a few others) but I seriously cannot say enough good things about these people! Highly recommend the 6am tour as you get viewing time before it gets really busy. I really appreciate Birds Underwater as they do a great job educating you about the manatees and how to passively observe. Made the manatees more comfortable and as a result we got to have some amazing interactions with them.
