I don't usually go for this sort of dessert, not being a fan of the overly-sweet, but something about this bar was irresistable. So I didn't resist. And I didn't regret. Fantastic, through and through, and sweet but not the least bit cloying. And while confections like this tend to be gooey, this one had backbone, with a crust that offered just enough fork-resistance to give the whole thing some dignity. I was told I would be hired in at 8 an hour as long as I worked under 40 hours a week, and when I asked if I could have $0.50 more, or full-time I was told, "I'm going to ask my husband and I will get back to you as soon as I do". Instead of them getting back to me in the professional manner, she never got back to me at all. I WILL NOT GO BACK... THEY WILL NEVER HAVE MY BUSINESS... AND I WILL NOT NOW OR EVER REFER THEM TO ANYONE. It is highly unprofessional to handle your business this way, or handle other people who come in for interviews this way. Especially when I was promised one thing and then told something totally different. When I spoke with owner she talbe me, " I can give you is 7.25 an hour, unless you're State Certified", and I replied "But you said that I would be getting 8.00 an hour". She did not want to hear that and made every excuse to actually renege and retract what she said. Not to mention the fact that she and her husband whom I spoke to originally new that I was not State Certified which I divulged during my very first interview before my second as well as informing her at the view beginning of the second interview.
