NOTE; The two reviews that gave 1 star are from 5 years ago, when somebody else was there. The shop is now as professional as it gets and not only can they work on any car, but they turn out the work about as fast as possible, so you get your car back when they said it would be ready. We've had several Porsche 911s in there, have had our Jaguar in there, and there have been no surprises. Cars were ready when they said, and prices were typical of what we pay for good work on good cars. Special thanks to them for making time to answer questions I might have had, and the mechanic or owner came out and explained things. It took a few mistakes before someone took pity on us and told me about Jordan's. And for the past years they've been a reliable place to take all our vehicles for regular maintenance and when the dealers pretend they can't hear/find/recreate the problem. How interesting that dealers never argue when presented with a magical piece of paper bearing the hallowed name of Jordan Automotive. They just kick the ground a bit, fix the (wheel bearing/bushings/pinion rings, etc.) and send the bill for several thousand dollars to the manufacturer. So yes, as long as we have vehicles, we'll be taking them to Jordan's. One word of warning though: these guys are popular and thorough so don't wait until the Thursday before a holiday weekend and whine that they HAVE to make time to get your vehicle ready for that drive to Miami or Dallas. They're probably replacing the engine on a Porsche and an axle on a vintage Mercedes and four other projects. Don't worry-they aren't snobs but if you want minimum wage mechanics working on your car; this ain't the place. They ARE human though so if you run into the rare instance when something doesn't seem right: just talk to them. Don't get your knickers in a twist because you're remembering what other shops have done to you. read more

Let me set the record straight. These are good folks that run this place. They are packed full of difficult vehicles to work on. They may take some time, and may not be manufacturer, but they keep cars going. My Jetta is the biggest turd on 4 wheels. It has been a problem since I got it. George and them have done everything they could and it's still a pile.... just like Volvo just like BMW. If you want a cheap fix and low shop time, buy domestic, and don't buy junk cars.... simple. Thanks to Jordan auto I've been able to drive my car for work. It's broken down now and currently in his shop. However, I bought a Jetta, and that's on me. Can't blame the mech for everything. The quality of work is outstanding. Whether you drive a domestic or import, Jordan's is the go to place on the Eastern Shore. No need to drive all the way to Mobile for repairs at import repair shops. I highly recommend Jordan's for any type of vehicle. read more

Oh where do I start, these guys are highly unprofessional and incompetent people. Three weeks ago I spoke to the owner (George) and asked if he could replace the head gasket of my BMW M3 and I inquire if they have done any head gasket replacement for performance vehicles like this. Owner assured it can be done and he has perofrmed many tasks like this. End of first week, I called to get a status of my car and he mentioned one of his mechanics are sick and wasn't able to get to the car. Thats fine, people get sick. Middle of second week: he (George) mentioned he has conducted some preliminary diagnosis and he doesn't believe anything wrong with the car head gasket wanting to do more. I explained that head gasket is damaged between cylinder 1 and 2 and engine idles rough and if he had a chance to drive the car, and he said no. After further more tests he aggreed with my findings. By this time I had ordered addtional parts that cost me close to 700 dollars. End of second week: Called to get an update and to find out they don't have the tool to do the timing belt. Seriously??? professional mechanic place didn't know this needs a special tool to do the timing belt and accept a job without knowing what tool they need to fix a car??? but he mentioned he has worked on perfomance cars like this before...I wonder how?? He said he order the tool and be here on Monday. Tuesday of third week: He hasn't recieved the tool and waiting for the tool. Wednesday of third week: Went by the shop, car is sitting outside the shop doesn't seems like they have touched the car at all. Called him to find out what's going on and he said he just got the tool and before I was going to say anything he lashed out and said come and get the car. Went to pick up the car and after closer investigation of outside and engine bay it seems like they have not even touched the car at all. No indication of even open the hood. During all this time my car was sitting outside in the rain and the sun. I gave them a one star and realistically they don't deserve a single star and only reason I did so I can post this on Google. This may be family owned but bunch of unprofesssional, incompetent, crooks. Please do not take your car to them!! read more

Extremely frustrated and disgusted that I trusted this auto repair shop. I paid to have my Volvo repaired and it was not fixed in any way, shape or form, yet I didn't get a refund. They charged me for replacing a part that was not at all related to my car issue. After bringing it back in a 2nd and 3rd time to allow them to correct their mistake, it still wasn't repaired. They then told me that I needed a new compressor and condenser, more freon, etc. I thought this was highly suspicious that they made these claims on the third visit. Come to find out, this was NOT TRUE, according to two other mechanics/repair shops. Upon inquiring around town and reading local FB pages, I have heard many horrible and similar experiences, some involving much more money! I even have three friends who have also been ripped off by Jordan Automotive. Beware!!! read more

Driving from Pensacola Florida to Oklahoma City my water pump decided to fail on my 2007 Porsche 911S while driving through Mobile Alabama. Fortunately I'd just passed a Porsche Dealer and decided to pull in and have them fix it. Once I was quoted $1,700.00, I had to find another solution. Jordan Automotive to the rescue! Michael Jordan spoke with me on the phone, and I immediately could tell that he knew what he was doing, not to mention that he also owns a Porsche. They ordered the part and had me back on the interstate after lunch the next day. They saved me over 50% compared to the Porsche dealer, did a quality repair, and they were very knowledgeable about what they are doing. I'm sorry I had a water pump failure, but I'm very glad to have met Michael Jordan. read more
