Disappointed to find the cavities found at this office actually didn't exist. This confirmed after a second opinion and more X-rays.

Felt COMPLETELY comfortable and safe going in to get my teeth cleaned given current conditions! Dr. Jordan and her staff are top notch!

I am very disappointed in Lanier Dental Partners. My wife and our two (now adult) children have…read morebeen patients of Dr Palmer for 22 years. We started seeing him before he joined Lanier Dental Partners, and we followed him there. We all go every 6 months for a cleaning, even during Covid. My children sat in my wife's lap as babies so they wouldn't grow up scared of the dentist. There has also been the occasional dental emergency. EVERY TIME we paid immediately after the appointment was over. For twenty years we have lived at the same address and had the same phone number. Dr Palmer recently retired and I am not very happy with Dr. Patel, his replacement. Recently, every time we go, they insist we fill out a medical history form, even if nothing has changed. The last time I went in for an appointment it was the same thing but then, the woman at the desk asked for a copy of my Driver's License. Remember, for twenty years we pay as soon as the appointment is over and we've lived in the same house. They really have no need to ask for my Driver's License. I decided we would just find another dentist and cancelled all our upcoming appointments. Now, they can legally ask for my Driver's License. However there is a lot of identity theft going on in the world. If hackers can breach large companies like AT&T, Equifax, Visa etc., how easy is it to breach Lanier Dental Partners? I would not advise anyone to have their Drivers License copied unless you have to for insurance reasons. I am in the finance business and 4 or 5 times a year we hear from our clients that someone stole their I.D. Businesses like Lanier Dental Partners have a policy in place that makes your identity accessible. I would think twice before you hand over that information. On February 7, Dr Patel sent me a Certified Letter "firing" us from her practice because I refused to give them my license. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this practice. They only want to check the boxes and have forgotten they are dealing with real people. The letter from Dr. Patel is just one more example. I would have never done this review, but Dr. Patel just went too far. P.S. Had my final visit with oral surgeon. I am somewhat new to the area and selected Lanier Dental Partners due to the great reviews and location. When I got there, Nice waiting area and lots of front office people. Everyone was very nice. Was moved back to a dental chair. I am self pay / without insurance and they brought me a piece of paper to sign. right at 2,800 dollars for 1 tooth. Felt like thats a lot. I already have a lot in this with the extraction and oral surgery for the implant. Looked around the room and they have a poster for an in house annual plan for around 400. This would have saved 20 percent (not sure exactly) but I did the math and it would have saved more than it cost. I said OK - lets do the annual plan. It will save me more than it costs. I was then informed that it takes 24 hours for the annual plan to go into effect, so I couldn't sign up today and get the services today. I left kindof confused about the visit. the tooth seemed like a lot of money. Not being able to get the annual plan on day of treatment (seems like it is an In-House plan) I called my former dentist on my way home and verbally he told me worst case on implant would be 1,800 - 1,000 dollars less than Lanier Dental Partners. I ended up going to my former dentist. An hour away, but saved 1,000 out of pocket. Lanier Dental Partners seems like a very nice office and nice people, But maybe not a great choice if you are Self Pay.

Show up to my dental cleaning 10 minutes late and told they cannot see me today. Do you know how many times I have had to wait for them due to their morning staff meetings running over, the dentist dealing with another patient. I have been to that dentist office over 20 times in the past couple of years and have not been late. But one time I'm late and can't see me. No grace given to me at all. Also note it was pouring raining and I got stuck behind a bunch of traffic which I told them. Last year at my dental cleaning the hygenist was so slow and the doctor got behind that I was there for a cleaning for over 2 hours. I was having to cancel work meetings. Did they care, no. But I show up 10 minutes late and am told they have to reschedule me after I drove in the pouring rain and blocked my work schedule. Take into account your patient. I get it if someone is a habitually late person, but I am not. I am the one sitting in the waiting room. Take into account weather situations and know when you want to prioritize your patients safety over being exactly on time. I get they have a schedule to keep but seriously the time could have been made up. And to note there was nothing in the reminders which I got a ton of via phone call, via text and via email that said if you are X minutes late you will be rescheduled. Again truly disappointed that after all the times I have been there, all the thousands of dollars spent that one time they have no regard for my situation and try to accomodate me. 0 stars for this.

I will say that most of the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and nice. The problem lies in the care received. How about some examples: -I personally got a crown and had it break within 6 hours. They did repair it, so that is something. -They pulled 3 of my daughters baby teeth because they had not loosened yet...ok...the issue, they did not properly numb her mouth and she felt the entire thing. She was screaming in pain*. She was so traumatized by the experience that it is very hard to get her to go to the dentist anymore. They were very unsympathetic about the whole thing. *about my daughter screaming in pain...on multiple occasions we visited for exams, cleanings, etc...and nearly every time you would hear a child crying out in pain. I do not believe they provide a gentle approach to children at all. -My son had braces put on, the top was done by Dr. Crews and went fine. The bottoms were done by another staff member and were done so haphazardly that he swallowed 2 brackets within 24 hours (in his sleep and at soccer practice). Along with that a wire protruded and was cutting into his cheek. In retrospect, I sincerely question if the person that put these on had the proper qualifications necessary to do so. Dr. Crews had to redo them on the next day they were in the office*. *the office hours here are odd but I won't hold that against them, just something worth noting if that is important to you. It seems the Doctor is in school quite frequently or something. So, those are the problems with the care....lastly...the financial part...I highly recommend that if you do go here, do not pay your total bill upfront, set up a payment plan. We paid for my son's braces upfront and later moved out of the area. They reimbursed a very measly portion of the amount paid even though they only completed a very small amount of the total plan. I had other orthodontists recommend that we reach back out and talk to Inspirational Smiles because the amount they credited back did not seem that it could be accurate. I did so but got nowhere but a sob story that they were actually losing money on my sons braces. If they lose money on doing 25% of a job but being paid for over 75% it...well, they must not be good with their money. tl;dr clean place, nice enough staff, seems poor at dental work, bad with kids, billing is very odd to put it gently

This happened a few years ago, but I honestly wasn't up to reliving the experience until now, hence…read morethe late post. To make a long story short, I went to Dr. Crews who told me I needed four crowns. She said we could do all of them at once and it would only take about 2.5 hours. It ended up taking about twice that long. But I figure it's okay. Miscalculations happens. (What was I thinking?!) When I go back in to get the permanent ones placed in, she can't seem to figure out how to numb me enough. Because of this, I end up laying in the chair, helplessly crying my eyes out with every incredibly painful push, poke, and prod. I honestly don't know how this woman is a dentist. Every time she pushed the crown on, she just kept saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." It was hands down one of the most traumatic experiences I've ever had. To top it off, they said insurance would cover it. Guess what? Insurance refused to cover it. They claimed none of my teeth needed a crown. Their office was incredibly unhelpful as I had to personally file an appeal with the insurance company, which was denied. I ended up forking over around $3000 out of pocket because I didn't see any other choice. Fast forward about a year, I start to experience an incredible tooth ache in one of the crowns while I was 32 weeks pregnant. Fun times. The tooth needed to be removed. Ever had a bone ripped out of your mouth while you're awake? Since I was pregnant, sedation was not an option. If you care about your teeth (and your pocket book) don't go here. There are plenty of other dentists out there.

We were charged $700 for two cleanings, gouged for every nickel and dime and charged for things that we never asked for. Thank goodness Jaime at the front desk had the foresight to make it right for us. She did refund what she could and give us a discount for our troubles. The office is so disorganized that two weeks later I got a call stating that they refunded the entire balance to us when, in fact, they did not and only refunded what we were owed. Got more water on my face and running down my neck than I did in my mouth. Didn't fill like a thorough cleaning much less a deep cleaning. If you're looking for a new dentist, I strongly suggest you keep looking and don't waste your time with this one.
