It's a great family-owned business; Ciera and Jesse did the installs themselves and were quick, friendly, and gave great guidance. They went the extra mile, from bringing out sample books so we could pick the perfect colors to providing temporary stick-on blinds while we waited for our order. The blackout shades in the bedrooms are awesome, and the pricing was very reasonable. We'll definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend!

When the orders arrived, 2 of them were fitted incorrectly. The installer needed to re-order 2 blinds. The second attempt to install the blinds, the vertical blinds were still the incorrect size. A new order was placed. The vertical blinds were installed yet were still too short. We had to call to have a person look at the short vertical blinds. The installer told us it was about 4 inches too short and re-ordered them for us. We are attempt number three and the blinds are still too short. This is looking like an endless debacle to correct. You need to look elsewhere. Take your money to a more reliable and efficient company whose employees know how to measure correctly.

What we received was a cheaper version. We had much trouble raising and lowering them. They would catch and get stuck. We struggled with that for a year and finally called and made an appointment to have them looked at. The person that came out said that the installer didn't adjust the pulley tensioner correctly. He adjusted it and they worked better, but we're noisy and not smooth like the rest of our blinds. Finally eight months later while lowering them they fell down completely. I called 3 day Blinds and they gave me a phone number for us to call for an appointment. I was put on hold and got hung up on. This was on Thursday.I called back and was told the soonest appointment would be Monday. I Asked to speak to a supervisor. Again I was given a number to call (they couldn't transfer the call) so I called and got a recording. After following directions to get to a person, I was told flatly, "we're closed goodbye" and was disconnected. We paid a premium price of over $1500. For this and will have to start all over to try and get them put back up. Beware, very disappointed. Several years ago we had them install Hunter Douglas for us in other rooms and had no problems. It's very sad to see how they have gone down in quality and service.

I described exactly what we needed in my inquiry and request for quote. A simple job to replace three sun shades with blackout shades on an existing motorized system. I sent pictures of what we have and what we need. Knowing all of this, the company set up a time for a consultation. A day before the scheduled consultation they tell me it's going to take 2+ hours, and that I should reschedule if I don't enough time tomorrow. I let them know that doesn't seem proportionate to the the job requested, that I'm watching a toddler full-time and I was expecting a 10-15 minute meeting to do measurements and confirm they can work with our system. They say ok. The next morning, two hours before the consultation, Melody the designer insists again on a 2+ hour meeting. I reiterate the same thing I said yesterday and she cancels the meeting.

The arms supporting the blinds are driven by a remotely controlled motor that runs quietly and smoothly. We contacted SunBlinds initially through Costco, which is giving us 20% back on the total. Our interactions with the Sunblinds people have been great, from the rep who came out to our house for the quote to the installation crew led by Hunter. Hunter and his assistant did an excellent job on the installation and Hunter took the time to explain how to use all the features with very useful tips on using the blinds. The installed awning works perfectly, and we are thrilled to finally be able to sit comfortably on our south-facing deck during the midday sun. Overall, a 5-star experience. We heartily recommend Sun Blinds and will use them again if we need blinds in the future.

Today, the day of service there was a no-show by the Technician. I called (txt) the company at 10:30am to inquire whether the individual was going to show up, and they mentioned that the technician would not be showing up due to car issues. I understand that issues arise, such as car issues, that might impede someone from making their appointment, but as a Company and professional they should have sent me a notification advising this. It took me reaching out to the Company to get an answer. I took time off work, to meet with this individual, hours from work and income loss that I won't get back. In my opinion, this was very unprofessional. The Company propose to re-schedule the appointment, but I declined as this would mean I would need to take more time of work, on another date, to meet for an appointment that they didn't make the first go around. My trust is broken at this point and I will pass on any future services.

I had installed 3 phantom screens ( one for French doors) which have held up for over 10 years with…read morezero problems. Zero! Well my 95 pound German shepherd crashed through one screen once but that is not Phantom Screen's fault. So today I added 2 more. I got so tired of one traditional screen door that had to be repaired frequently which involved borrowing a truck and dropping it off several miles away. Then borrowing the truck again to pick it up. Finally I realized I had two doors that could use a Phantom Screen and Screens of Northern California was still at the same address so I sent out an e mail. And everything moved quickly. The design is different but the company's responsiveness and quality of work remains stellar. I will miss the push/pull to release the magnets of the original screen door. It is a pretty effective bad guy deterrent at the door to my garage along with another big German Shepherd sleeping at the inside enjoying the breeze! But the new doors' release is welcome at the new locations. And the installer threw in a can of silicone spray. I'd say the only drawback is the screen door seems to be a magnet for dog hair. JK.
