The arms supporting the blinds are driven by a remotely controlled motor that runs quietly and smoothly. We contacted SunBlinds initially through Costco, which is giving us 20% back on the total. Our interactions with the Sunblinds people have been great, from the rep who came out to our house for the quote to the installation crew led by Hunter. Hunter and his assistant did an excellent job on the installation and Hunter took the time to explain how to use all the features with very useful tips on using the blinds. The installed awning works perfectly, and we are thrilled to finally be able to sit comfortably on our south-facing deck during the midday sun. Overall, a 5-star experience. Called Instyle and they told me their installer, Gabriel, never told them the blinds were not installed AND there were no notes about it. When they were trying to reschedule they then informed me my blinds were sent back to the manufacturer 4 weeks ago. What? Huh??? Now trying to get reimbursed for this order - and still no blinds! This company is a mess, disorganized, and recommend you go elsewhere. Such a waste of time!
