I have a second commode that has a similar issue but is rarely used so I thought I'd have them look at it, too. I called, they set me up for the next day, then called back and said they could work me in today. The tech they sent out, Winston, was very friendly and quickly checked out and fixed the master. It was not the vent but rather a partial clog. He then checked out the second commode and determined it was not a vent issue either. It needs a new valve or a replacement commode. This is why I'm not a plumber. After telling him of our remodeling plans he suggested a toilet brand, provided a quote, and let me know that replacing all three at the same time would be a good cost savings. He was in and out in less than a half hour. Great service all around. They were the only company that answered my call and they were very, very responsive. The price was fair and I'm 100% satisfied.

I had to have all the work redone by another company and it cost a lot of money. The county inspectors, Dominion Energy and two master electricians from other companies looked at their work and were shocked at the poor workmanship. They left the outside meter box in an unsafe condition with exposed wires and dangling master on/off switch. They used the wrong wiring and the wrong sized breaker in the inside breaker boxes. They destroyed every surge protector in the house as well as several appliances. They offered to fix some of it, but after seeing the quality of their work, I was not willing to trust them again. They were also way too dismissive of the scope of the problems they had caused; arguing that it wasn't going to require much to fix things. I felt like they focused on the need to avoid costs of repair rather than how to make things right in what was clearly a major screwup by a new employee who was way in over his head on this job. Add to all this, they said they would compensate me for some of the cost of fixing their mess and I never saw a cent. The company may be okay for HVAC work but I sure don't recommend them for electrical work.

We put it off for several reasons: cost, dreading having holes cut into our walls, thinking we could be without water for days and maybe, even possibly, needing to move out while the job was being done, as I don't do well with chaos and the unknown. However, when Garrett came to our home to give us a quote, he assured me they would cut as few holes as possible to get the job done, would do everything in his power to keep the water on and that we should not have to leave our home at all. Garrett indicated he worked in a manner that would allow us to always have at least one functioning bathroom. It should also be noted that Beaver's pricing beat the pricing of the other two companies I had gained estimates from in prior years. Yes, I said years. This is amazing in and of itself since everything these days cost MORE. Throughout the entire process, Garrett kept his word and both he and Stephen worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were extremely professional, courteous and I could tell that they actually love what they do and care about their customers. They, together with Lily and Steve, the owners, made a dreaded project a lot less painful than I thought possible. They all clearly value customer service above all else. Another rarity these days. We have had Krantz as our preventative maintenance service for almost two years now. We had a…read moreBi-annual contract set up. There were multiple times I had to call to have them come out and service as they were behind on our contract, on top of that they never walked staff through regular monthly repair information. I was told on the phone today that filters should be replaced every month, they only service the filters on the time scheduled for a bi-annual check. They do not send a reminder or share best practices for getting this done for us (not the HVAC professionals) who are supposedly just supposed to know how this is done and what is needed of 60 ton units. We pay people for their expertise for a reason. On top of that they wanted a $100 per unit that needed to be looked at (our business has 8). The unit that is currently down is our main unit which they had "checked". They left the belts out of the unit on top of the roof, and kept the motor running after sending a quote via email for just belt repair, which there was no response to due to change in ownership, which they were told after resigning our contract and sharing new ownership contact information. This caused the transformer to blow, which we now have to repair on top of replacing the belts they removed and never once reached out to us asking to confirm this information or if we wanted to be serviced for this project. They left it to deteriorate. The last time we were serviced was 6 months ago meaning we were due for a bi-annual inspection and no one was sent to take care of this. I called another company who came out today and showed me photos of each unit, and the unit at hand that had the issue, which Krantz last touched. They walked me through everything I needed to know and let me know they also do monthly preventative maintenance options if need be. It is a shame that a business who's job is specifically HVAC could be so careless to let this happen and show no form of remorse or concern when the issue was addressed being argumentative on the phone because they sent an email in December (to the wrong ownership). Funny because when we spoke in February to finish off the invoice, Unit 1 was never mentioned, or the repairs they said they sent a quote on. In the two years we have been with them we already spent 20k on repairs. Sad. Anyway look for another business especially if it is for commercial work. Otherwise you will be spending a lot of money in the long run.
