I have to write this because I had an unpleasant experience few months ago. My right ear was hurting from flying Paris-Phoenix in mid July and as soon as I landed in phoenix I called the office to make an appointment. I didn't get to see Dr. Weiner until mid August, you know how it is that you can't get in right away. By the time I went to see Dr. Weiner, my ear was already fine. He checked my both ears anyway and he said that my right ear had wax, so he did the cerumen removal. Everything went well, so I was happy with the service. Prior to the cerumen removal, I was ordered to get hearing test. I told the hearing lady that my hearing was fine and I didn't need a hearing test, but she insisted and made me to sign the paperwork. I asked her multiple times that the insurance will cover for the test and she said yes! On the following month I received bill from this office with amount of $120.45. I called the billing company and she said yes I had to pay that amount after insurance deductible. In the statement description also they charged me $221 for a new patient. I was like really! I wasn't new because I came to this office for wax removal before.Plus I never heard doctors will charge for the new patients, where was that come from. Dr. Weiner was a wonderful ENT, but unfortunately the management was very poor. So disappointing. read more

Had nasal polyps (seriously bad case) and a deviated septum in-out surgery performed by Dr. Weiner. I was naturally a tad nervous not knowing what to expect. Dr Weiner picked up my nervousness immediately and the first thing he did was cracked a pretty funny joke, which immediately took the tension off. It was perfect! The surgery was completed in no-time, a few days for recovery and I can tell you wonderful it is to actually breathe through both nostrils at the same time and to have a better sense of smell again. Very pleased with the outcome. You never feel Dr Weiner is rushing things during office visits. He is completely present for you and your questions. He is just a pleasant doctor and good-hearted person to talk to. He cares. read more

I've had chronic bppv (vertigo) for the last 3 years. By the time I was able to see a physician (3 months), Dr. Weiner smugly told me to watch a you tube video on the epley maneuver and sent me along my way. Glad I paid money and waited for this guy's advice! Lousy doctor, avoid. read more

Dr. Wiener acts like you should be so honored to be in his presence. He does not let you speak and if you do he says he is the doctor not you. He speaks down to you. Felt like he didn't even want to be there. Argues about your symptoms your trying to tell him and says I am the doctor not you. Has documentation and scans that show my symptoms. I saw him before COVID and he was a different doctor. Wanted to do surgery. COVID hit so postponed. Now he says I don't have to do your surgery. Well I wouldn't let him near me after that appointment. He also put down my doctors and other doctors saying they don't know what their talking about. Only I do. I have never been treated so poorly from a doctor. I should of just walked out after the first five minutes of my visit. He was belittling me. The fact that I had pneumonia in both lungs in Dec. '22 and cancelled an appointment the first week of Jan '23 because I was still sick in bed, was used against me when I came for an appointment in February. I was 15 min late due to traffic on the 101 and 202. When I asked if I could see the Dr., I was turned away because I missed the prior appointment. I have asthma. Because I was out of breath from climbing the stairs quickly to try and make the appt., they thought I was upset/mad. I was simply trying to catch my breath while talking to them. I wasn't angry. Confused by their attitude, but not angry. I have never seen a less compassionate Dr.'s office. Find a different ENT. They don't want to help the patient. read more

I had to write this review because I did a lot of research about the inspire device for sleep apnea. I used a c-pap for 25 years until I couldn't stand it anymore. I found Dr Weiner to do the surgery for me. During the initial visit he found that I had a deviated septum and if I wanted to have it corrected my breathing would improve. At the same time Dr Weiner and the inspire team evaluated me to determine if I was a good candidate for the surgery..turned out I was a good match :] So I just had to get it done. My breathing is noticeable better by at least 40% after the septum surgery. I had a lot of questions about the Inspire device and he explained in detail what the surgery was about. A week later, I was scheduled for the fun part... I will never say that surgery is great because it's not. But having Dr Weiner do my surgeries couldn't be any better. He visited me before my surgeries to make sure I was alright and if I had any questions. His office support is frigging outstanding as they helped out with all my insurance questions and follow up visits. I am reviewing my treatment at Dr Wiener Scottsdale office, not Dr Weiner. I was referred to Dr Weiner by another physician, when I arrived I had great difficulty fining a parking spot, I finally parked in front of another building. I admittaly arrived approximately 3 to 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I checked in, I filled out all the new patient forms and then sat in the waiting room. There was a sign that said Dr Weiner was running 60 minutes late. after waiting about 10 minutes a woman leaned out of the window and told me that because I was late I needed to reschedule for another day! I guess it is OK for the Doctor to have a patient wait up to 60 minutes but it was not OK for me to be a few minutes late checking in, unbelievable behavior!! read more

Very disappointed with Dr. Wieners disposition and lack of caring and personalized care. He was rude, self absorbed and when I was asked if I had any questions, I asked two and he told me both questions didn't merit answering by saying " that was then, this is now". The questions directly related to my ear problem But his answer was just that. Just a rude comment but never answering the questions by any means. . I will NEVER suggest any one seeing this Dr. he also said he would get back with me when he sent for my ultrasound. That was over two weeks ago. read more

If you are a patient of Dr. Weiner, you are one of the lucky ones. I would like to think that I am special to Dr. Weiner but I think he treats every one of his patients like they are special. I have a little different experience with him because most of my visits have been urgent care related, including treatment for Salivary Gland Cancer two years ago. In fact, I'm probably the reason why some patients have to wait a little longer for their appointments. In fairness, it is very difficult for any doctor to prepare for circumstances such as mine. Most recently, I came to see Dr. Weiner regarding a skin infection on my outer ear, related to another doctor's surgery. I was in extreme pain and the infection was continuing to worsen. I felt unheard and not taken care of properly. I was desperate for help. I called and left a message with his nurse, Ruby and she called me back within the hour to schedule me for the very next day. When I came in, Dr Weiner really listened to me. That is one of his many great strengths. He drained the wound and bandaged it. The pain immediately began to lessen. I had been in pain for a couple of weeks and Dr. weiner reduced my pain, right away. I know, he is that accomplished! He knows what to do in treating his patients effectively. I can't stress enough what a rare doctor he is. He even juggled his hospital schedule to see me the next day. A diamond in the rough in a sea of "questionable" doctors. I feel very blessed to have him as my doctor. If I had the choice he would be my primary doctor. He is that good! read more

He was precisely on-time and is obviously quite smart, caring, and up-to-the-minute with creative solutions. I can't imagine a better ENT for recurring sinus infections. After I have only great things to say about Dr. Weiner. If you want a doctor who clearly cares about his patients he's it. Please check the BBB rating on this office/Dr it's an "F" rating. My mistake for not checking 1st! I called as a brand new patient for a price quote, and they told me my 1st visit $139.00. I explained that my deductible is $12,500 catastrophic ins & hoped to pay all cash and for any further discounts and they said that it would be more expensive to pay cash than through my ins. The day of my 1st visit I was early as told to be, 15 min. The Dr. Jordan Weiner, MD was 1.5 hours late for my visit. I waited almost 2 hours, but I suffer from sleep apnea & needed help so I stayed. He spent all of 10 min with me then said someone would contact me to pick up at home sleep testing unit. He sent me to check out and she demanded $$232.20 from me and I refused. I was told $139. She said no exceptions and basically too bad! Then I waited almost a month before anyone could get me the sleep apnea testing device. Horrible customer service! The device was terrible and I couldn't sleep with it on. Bad test. I was told it would be $300 but they charged me $339.71. By the way, they charged my ins $366.55 for my 10 minute 1st visit too. I could no longer afford to ever go back to this horrible place! They charge way too much, over charge and are the worse in service ever! Run!!!! Don't ever go there!!! I have so many good things to say about this office and this physician, so I will start from my check-in. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment and was greeted promptly by the front desk. The office is very clean and has plenty of seating. I appreciate the fact that the waiting room was not overflowing with people as this showed that the doctor and staff do not overbook patients. I was called back for my appointment right on time by the M.A. (Ruby) who was very kind. I told her I had referred myself to their office based on other reviews and she told me I made a great choice. This says a lot about the practice when an employee is a cheerleader for the practice. I was seen promptly by Dr. Weiner and he was genuinely caring, kind, and concerned about my issue. It's rare to find a doctor with such excellent bed-side manner, and he is one of the rare ones. He did the exam, diagnosed my problem, dictated my visit while in the exam room, and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. When I checked out, the person at the desk (Blue) was incredibly helpful and told me how much he loved working at this practice.
