To make a long story short, here is are bullet points of what occurred: 1) Reached out to OM to ensure they accepted the new insurance plan I was considering. I was told by TWO different employees that they accepted it. 2) I used this insurance to see my doctor several times over a health concern. 3) Received a bill stating I would need to pay all out of pocket because OM didn't accept my plan. 4) Reached out to various departments at OM asking about this. After several attempts and many delays in getting someone to respond, I was finally told to speak to the office manager. 5) Office manager informed me they would look into it and see what could be done. Few weeks went by, no response. Reached out various times and finally heard back from a new office manager who told me she would look into the issue. 6) Several more weeks went by and still nothing. Left messages and emails and after about 4 months of this, was told I would need to speak to my insurance since they couldn't help me. 7) Due to the amount of time between having received the initial bill and finally being told I need to figure it out myself, I asked for them to please not send the bill to collections since I am very aware that medical offices will quickly take this route. 8) Was informed that they had already sent me to collections and there was nothing they could do about it and didn't even try to make it right by offering to refund my membership or anything else. 9) Had to pay the full bill through a collection agency which has now affect my credit all due to their staff being incompetent.

They always act like they're mad to be at work and it's inconvenient for you to come in for an appointment or call. It's very odd to me and they're also incredibly unhelpful when you're sitting in a waiting room for 30 minutes and ask when you're finally going to see the doctor. Most people in medical care are not so cold and rude. Do not recommend if you like good customer service and it's unfortunate since Cucchetti seems like a good doctor! Danica truly is the epitome of a bad staff member so stay away from her. She is very unhelpful and will treat you like you're lying when you speak to her after your surgery and you tell her you have pain. It was only 12 hours after surgery and her attitude when she called me was appalling. My shoulder surgery went well (I think) but no one told me there would be 4 weeks of not being able to move my arm or do normal activities so do make sure to ask every question! I've had lots of surgeries and this one was the hardest to heal from!

Dr Weiner picked up my nervousness immediately and the first thing he did was cracked a pretty funny joke, which immediately took the tension off. It was perfect! The surgery was completed in no-time, a few days for recovery and I can tell you wonderful it is to actually breathe through both nostrils at the same time and to have a better sense of smell again. Very pleased with the outcome. You never feel Dr Weiner is rushing things during office visits. He is completely present for you and your questions. He is just a pleasant doctor and good-hearted person to talk to. He cares.

I have to write this because I had an unpleasant experience few months ago…read more My right ear was hurting from flying Paris-Phoenix in mid July and as soon as I landed in phoenix I called the office to make an appointment. I didn't get to see Dr. Weiner until mid August, you know how it is that you can't get in right away. By the time I went to see Dr. Weiner, my ear was already fine. He checked my both ears anyway and he said that my right ear had wax, so he did the cerumen removal. Everything went well, so I was happy with the service. Prior to the cerumen removal, I was ordered to get hearing test. I told the hearing lady that my hearing was fine and I didn't need a hearing test, but she insisted and made me to sign the paperwork. I asked her multiple times that the insurance will cover for the test and she said yes! On the following month I received bill from this office with amount of $120.45. I called the billing company and she said yes I had to pay that amount after insurance deductible. In the statement description also they charged me $221 for a new patient. I was like really! I wasn't new because I came to this office for wax removal before.Plus I never heard doctors will charge for the new patients, where was that come from. Dr. Weiner was a wonderful ENT, but unfortunately the management was very poor. So disappointing.

My appointment was scheduled for 1:00pm; I arrived at 1:01 and was brought back at 1:07. During the visit, I clearly explained the two main reasons I was there and where I hoped to focus. However, much of the appointment was spent revisiting prior lab work, which I was told was not valid due to timing and fasting issues. When asked about the prescribed medication, I shared that it was causing cramping and not providing the intended benefit. Despite this, the recommendation was to continue the same course of treatment with minor adjustments. I expressed that I did not agree and was hoping to discuss alternative options. At approximately 1:32, I was told my appointment time was over and that I could discontinue the medication if I chose, review materials later, and return for another visit. When I shared that I did not feel the visit had been helpful, I was told that I was being "mean," which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. I left the appointment feeling dismissed, unsupported, and discouraged. Patients seeking care--especially for complex and often frustrating conditions like perimenopause--deserve to feel heard, respected, and partnered with in their treatment decisions.

I rejoined One Medical in April 2026 after my longtime primary care doctor retired and I needed an…read moreappointment quickly. I had recently been prescribed a GLP-1 medication by a hormone clinic, was experiencing severe side effects, and needed guidance on whether my symptoms were serious enough to require urgent care. I booked an appointment with Dr. Reed at the Tempe location and was extremely disappointed with the care I received. She was running about 15 minutes late and immediately began rushing the visit. When I showed her the medication and explained the symptoms I was experiencing, she stated that she didn't know what was in it because she hadn't prescribed it. I explained that I understood that limitation and was simply trying to determine whether my symptoms warranted urgent care. Her response was essentially that people do get hospitalized from GLP-1 medications and I might need to go. Despite presenting with symptoms severe enough to potentially require hospitalization, I received very little meaningful medical guidance. Instead, I was referred to other providers and questioned about why I had stopped seeing my previous One Medical physician. It was frustrating to spend a rushed appointment discussing my history with One Medical rather than receiving help for the reason I was there. I also reported significant bladder irritation after struggling to eat and drink because of the medication's side effects. I explained that I had already been taking AZO for several days and that the packaging recommends consulting a doctor before taking it longer than 2-3 days. I was advised to continue taking it until my symptoms improved. A urine test was ordered and I was prescribed antibiotics for a possible UTI. A few days later, I was told through the patient portal that bacteria had been found and that I should continue taking the antibiotics. However, after my symptoms worsened and I reached out again, another physician informed me that I did not actually have a UTI. The bacteria identified were consistent with contamination of the sample rather than bacteria in the urine itself. I was instructed to stop both the antibiotics and AZO immediately. As a result, I spent roughly two weeks dealing with worsening bladder symptoms while taking medications that ultimately were not needed. Receiving completely contradictory guidance from providers within the same practice was both frustrating and concerning. To make matters worse, I later received a bill for nearly $400 for this visit. After completing a survey detailing my concerns, I was contacted by leadership, who apologized and indicated my concerns would be reviewed. After weeks of waiting and multiple follow-up attempts on my part, I ultimately received a generic response stating that charges are based on services rendered rather than outcomes and that no adjustment would be made. What stands out most about One Medical is not that mistakes happen--mistakes happen in every healthcare system. It's the complete lack of accountability afterward. Concerns are acknowledged, apologies are offered, and patients are told their feedback matters, but when it comes time to address the consequences, the response is simply that the bill is still due. Based on my experiences, One Medical appears far more interested in maximizing billing than providing meaningful patient care or taking responsibility when things go wrong. Between the rushed appointment, conflicting medical advice, unnecessary medications, and dismissive handling of my concerns afterward, I DO NOT recommend this practice.

This review is reflective of the Tempe location and the doctor I saw. 1. The doctor was extremely overwhelmed when she saw I was overstimulated and overwhelmed and couldn't accommodate my basic asks like a physical exam and lowering the lights. When I explained I had not seen a specialist in a specific area due to assault at a private clinic, her response was "that happened in the clinic?" - not trauma informed at all. Ridiculous. I have no idea what her problem is, but I will never return to this location. 2. I still don't know if the correct blood tests as I've asked for multiple times to be ordered were done right and had a script from another doctor. The doctor couldn't figure it out and left it the phlebotomist who was actually a lovely human being and extremely kind. 3. Parking directions in the app are outdated and wrong, causing my parking to not be validated and for me to get hit on on the way by the attendant who attempted to validate. 4. I had to wait over an hour to get my blood work done, which is very unlike one medical and absolutely bad shit crazy. I've never experienced reading that long just to do a pretty routine blood draw. Overall, I'll be seeking care back at the other locations within Phoenix instead of this location ever again as clearly this location does not have the best - or even basic 5/10 - doctors located here. My normal PCP from one medical was out for several weeks, which is why I decided to try this other location instead of waiting for her because this was something that was time sensitive. The questioning of being assaulted at another clinic was extremely inappropriate and not even given away of "oh I'm sorry that happened" - literally just asking where. Almost as nice as asking what I was wearing! Don't waste your time here especially as they didn't have any referrals when they told me to see a couple different specialists. Go to Scottsdale or Gilbert where there's parking and competent professionals. Worst One Medical I've been to (and I've been to 7).

Unless you have insurance that covers literally 100% of your medical care and every single visit, I…read morewould RUN from this practice. I'm a generally healthy person with no complaints who is on a couple long-term maintenance medications for stable conditions. Not only did they require multiple appointments for simple prescription refills, but they then coded these visits as high-complexity - despite the fact that I didn't request them, I had no complaints, and all I needed was a prescription refill (for frame of reference, my previous provider wrote 12-month prescriptions for the same meds). I was billed $176 for each of the virtual prescription refill appointments. My final appointment there before I called it quits was a 15-minute virtual appointment (again, that the provider requested, not me) where ALL I NEEDED was a refill. The provider herself actually coded it correctly, and the billing team overrode the provider and change the appointment to the high-complexity code. I have worked in medical billing, and these appointments do not meet the requirements of a high-complexity code. They will bill EVERYTHING as high-complexity. So if you're someone with a high-deducible plan, this is NOT the practice for you. (Sidenote - they also admitted to me that their self-pay prices are actually LOWER than my contracted rate with insurance, but they would not give me the self-pay price). I went back and forth with their billing team, telling them I'd be happy to pay the bill when it was the correct amount. They stopped responding to me in February 2025. Today I got a letter from collections. I'm petty so I'll be fighting this until the bitter end and making sure that by the time this is over, they'll have spent more than $176 on collections and paying their billing team to argue with me, but I recommend saving yourself the hassle and just avoiding this practice altogether. (Also I can't wait for the part where I get their auto response to this review telling me how concerned they are and to reach out to discuss. I've already done that multiple times and no one there cares to remedy this situation!)

Dr. Jones is a fantastic physician--attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about his patients. Unfortunately, the rest of the operation has completely fallen apart over the past year, and the experience no longer reflects the high standard of care that once defined this office. The administrative side has become a mess. On multiple occasions, I've arrived for appointments--lab visits and provider visits alike--only to find that staff weren't even on site. No phone call or text to notify me that the appointment needed to be rescheduled. This has happened three times in six months. Between taking time off work, arranging childcare, and driving across town, it's incredibly frustrating and a huge waste of time. What used to feel like a concierge-level practice now feels like an afterthought. The lack of respect for patients' time and the repeated scheduling failures make it impossible to rely on this office for consistent care. I don't know if it's a management issue or fallout from the Amazon acquisition, but either way, this location no longer delivers the quality or professionalism that patients deserve. **update: you will see response below from OneMedical. This is a perfect example of this going downhill. They have all the info they need - why am I wasting MORE of my time regurgitating it to their email inbox. She is super charismatic and isn't afraid to say things openly and forward - which I love! Former doctors try and sugar-coat, make things awkward but Dr. Tom makes it straight-forward but with a comforting, nurturing behavior. I can trust her completely and she KNOWS what she is talking about! She is so kind, educated and funny and I have never had a better experience. I've had lots of negative encounters with so-called doctors - but this, this is by far the best, and I am not exaggerating when I say this.
