He is the ONLY doctor I've seen who takes the time, gives the patients many many tests to make sure he rules out certain diseases and causes and explains things thoroughly. He does refer his patients to specialists if need be and they are all good referrals, not as caring as him though. He has a "human touch" which a lot of doctors lack. His receptionist concedes that they receive far more letters and faxes than they have time to read, and messages sent via email or North Shore Connect are completely ignored. She advised that the best way of contacting the office was by telephone. But for me, that was equally problematic. It typically took an average of 3 attempts to get through because the voicemail message would keep repeating, and then when someone finally did answer, they would put me on hold and either forget I was there or else disconnect me. When I was finally able to get through and leave a message for the doctor, he would return my call in 3 days ... 3 weeks ... or not at all. Equally frustrating, whenever I came in for an appointment, the doctor would typically be running 30 ... 60 ... or even 90 minutes behind schedule. The final straw was when I needed Dr. Grinblatt's signature on a medical form. To expedite things, I hand-delivered it to his office. He was busy with a patient but the receptionist assured me it would be taken care of. It was not. "I never saw the form!" he insisted. So, I made a special trip to his office to deliver the paperwork and a postpaid envelope a SECOND time. Once again the doctor was busy, so I handed it to his nurse and explained the situation. But the second set of forms mysteriously vanished, too. This is no way to run a medical practice.

This is, without a doubt, the worst-run doctor's office we've ever experienced. The front desk…read morestaff is consistently rude and seems unhappy to be there. They don't even know which insurance plans they accept--every one of our claims was incorrectly filed as out-of-network when they were actually in-network. Fixing this has been a major hassle, and despite multiple messages asking for the billing manager to call us back, no one has returned our calls. Instead, we were told that the doctor's wife handles billing, but no one knows when she comes in. We are now receiving final bill notices, yet the office has locked us out of the patient portal due to non-payment, making it impossible to access our records or communicate through that system. When my wife asked how she could reach her doctor or someone who could help, she was told to use the portal--the very one we had been locked out of. All we are trying to do is get them to resubmit these claims correctly as in-network so we can pay the bill and move on. That's it. And yet, we're met with roadblock after roadblock. To top it off, they advertise themselves as a concierge practice, which is laughable. Concierge medicine is supposed to provide premium care, personalized attention, and easy access to the physician and staff. Here, they don't even answer the phone over lunch. Why not stagger lunch breaks like any other service-oriented business instead of shutting down entirely? The final straw was when my wife--who is battling stage 4 cancer--called for the third time to resolve this, only to be scolded for trying to fix a 2024 billing issue in 2025. Unfortunately, we had more pressing matters last year. We're done. As soon as this gets resolved, we'll be finding a new doctor. If you're considering this practice, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
