I have called Theresa, the front office employee, and so did Dr. Lagoc's office. I even hand-delivered a referral, hoping she would maybe show some empathy for my child, who can barely swallow. In front of me, with all her bedazzled accessories, she had to fax the referral to herself--very unprofessional. She told me she would get back to me during the day, which she did not. My child has been waiting and waiting weeks, and I have had no response. I will give them a -5 and hope that Mercy can get their act together and realize how many children out there probably aren't getting care because of this front office worker. Shame on you. Since I work in healthcare, I'm embarrassed and appalled.

This involved pictures of which he shared with me. He came back in the afternoon that same day and we discussed my options and treatment. He also came again the next morning before I was released. We discussed his findings, he prescribed some meds . There is such an improvement in just 1 1/2 weeks. In stead of 1-2 hrs of sleep at night I am now getting 6 hrs of sleep. At my visit today I told him I was very grateful. I was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival. He did not rush our appointment and listened to me. I would highly recommend him. His staff was awesome. I was referred to the Center of Excellence by an ENT doctor who could not do a biopsy of a lymph…read morenode and an urgent referral was sent. I left a message, which was returned by the referral coordinator, who lectured me about their referral process taking 14 days, only in the order received, urgent means nothing, doctors won't see it for 14 days. I contrast this with the Dignity Health ENT office. My oncologist referred me for an urgent biopsy, I saw them within a day and surgery would happen in a few days. It turned out they didn't take my insurance but they really tried to work around it. I was treated with dignity and respect, and everyone there was trying to help. I don't know about the quality of the doctors as I only had contact with 2 staff members. Last week I called a staff member, they listened, understood the urgency and said the practice would push the referral through. Today, I spoke to a dragon lady, a person in an office who wields what little power they have against the patients. I was really surprised, my first impression of the office was great, but if management doesn't see her for who she is to patients, how many other staff members are questionable?

I just want people to know what happened when I went to get copy of my medical records yesterday…read more First I want to tell you that I had gone to Dr Domb for over 10 years and never had a problem until I got an insurance through my work which was an advantage insurance. Ok so they said they didn't take it. I said ok, let me talk to my work. I got it changed back to what it used to be. So I go back and they have this new office manager and she told me that they won't take my insurance. I told her it is what I had before. She told me that no she saw online what it was. I told her she is wrong. I told her I can show her the insurance card and she said no she already knew what it was. So I am going what the heck is going on here. So I told her I will wait and talk to Dr Domb. It gets weirder. She said no I couldn't wait. He is booked. I said I will wait till he has a moment because I don't understand what is going on. Never had a problem until this new office manager. I wonder if she is his wife. So anyway she said that I would be trespassing if I stayed. I am like what is going on. I told her I would like to talk to Dr Domb to know what the heck is going on. She said I had to leave. I told her again I will sit there to talk to him. I felt I had the right to know why she wouldn't look at my cards so I can make an appointment. So she basically kicked me out of the office without an explanation. So I go back and wanted to get a copy of my records. Then she told me it would be $25.25 cent a page. I said that is highway robbery and that is wrong. She said it was the law. I told her that is a lie and to kiss my ass. Because I wasn't going to pay that. I don't know what is going on at that office. But because of the way they treated me after 10 years plus. I don't recommend them anymore. Hopefully they aren't doing this to other people. When I went there they only had one car out front.
