Vince took the time to help me by sizing me correctly and then searching both in the store and on-line to make sure my needs were met. This store and it's employees are top notch. I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad here? I've been here two or three times and i've always had amazing customer service. So here's the run down, i'm going to the Bahamas soon with my girlfriend and I was looking for a Linen suit. Well, Macys didn't have any that fit my taste and Mens wear house had RUDE customer service and only one linen blazer. When I walked into Jos A Bank a light just shinned down from the heavens and I was about to set my sights on a perfectly fitted seersucker, tropical blend suit. I mean it fit so perfectly it was like it was meant to be. The only thing that had to be altered was the pants and they promised they'd be back before I left on my trip. They had a deal in store going on, Buy one get one free. Which was a really good deal on most of their stuff. The suits are high quality, made to fit you well, and are snazzy. I went there on July 6, 2022 and was immediately met by a friendly and knowledgeable employee. He was extremely helpful and helped me select two new suits, a shirt, two belts and socks. The service was great. read more

Customer service was lacking. The older gentleman asked what I was looking for and I described the suit I wanted for my wedding. He said you can take a look at that back wall which made the question seem ineffective. Then I was approached by a young guy, told him what I was looking for and that I couldn't do 100% wool as I'm allergic. He said "that's awkward" then started to tell me about a different company where he got his suit and said they were very cheap and lasted a long time. I told him I appreciated it so he wouldn't waste any more time promoting another business while I was in their store looking for something in person. He then walked away and started talking about me to another coworker very loudly which made my fiancé really upset to where she started heading towards the door asking if we could leave. I will not be returning based on this experience. read more

My husband shopped at Jos. A. Bank when we lived in Knoxville and he's shopped at both this location at Crestview Town Center and the location at Rookwood. I went with him to this location recently when he needed dress pants for a business trip. The service was excellent. He found a couple of pairs of pants which needed altering. The normal alteration time frame is two weeks, but when he explained he needed them more quickly, they were able to comply. This location needs some customer service training. I had multiple poor experiences over the course of a few visits. I walked in to get measured for a suit for a wedding I'm in and it was busy, so I waited in line at the register. I was second in line and someone came up to help whomever was working the register. They asked the employee what they needed help with, the employee then looks at me and says, "well, speak!" I was never greeted or asked what I needed help with. Later, as I was paying for my suit, I noticed it cost a bit more than my sibling who had just purchased his the day before, so I mentioned that. The person working seemed frustrated I would even ask (of course I'm going to if it's ~40 more than the amount the groom communicated to me). I explained that we weren't purchasing shirts because the groom wanted to purchase them for us, and he seemed upset and said, "well, yours is different because you're big and tall and need to order a special shirt" in a semi-condescending tone. I explained that I'm simply sharing what the groom shared with me. Keep in mind that this was at least 3 months prior to the wedding (plenty of time to order a shirt). This same person on another visit did not seem pleased or eager to check me out at the register after being sent there with my alteration measurements from the person who wrote them down. I visited another Jos. A. Bank in my hometown to order my shirt two days ago, two weeks prior to the wedding, and was happily told it would be in within a couple days. Why in the world was that first employee so rude when I explained that I needed to hold off on ordering? 3 months before the event? Overall, not pleased with this location. I'm getting married this year and would have chosen a different route had I not had a good experience at the location in my hometown. read more

My wife and I recently visited Jos A Bank within the Crestview Hills complex in Northern Kentucky and were thoroughly satisfied. We were immediately greeted by store manager Cielito Gill who quickly confirmed my measurements and had two suit selections in front of us within minutes. Mrs Gill took the time to answer all our questions and went above and beyond by hemming one suit pants there on-site. While I'm normally the last to ever seek out and purposely leave a review, my wife and I both agreed that the interaction was the most professional and friendly customer service experience we've had in years. Ultimately, what would normally take a full day of dreaded fittings, try-ons etc, turned into, at most, a 90 minute exchange with me leaving with two top of the line suits. I cannot say enough about Mrs Gill and we greatly appreciate her efforts. Without a doubt, Mrs Gill has gained a new customer and I'll be returning to the Crestview Hills store for any additional needs. Outstanding customer experience. read more

The absolute WORST customer service. My boyfriend went in for a fitting because he was a groomsman in his sister's wedding. It took FOUR separate visits to get the job done correctly. Improperly measured, lost orders, and once they didn't even acknowledge us even though we stood there for fifteen minutes. Great clothes, but terrible service at the Crestview Hills, KY store. I was in there July 5th - the only customer as they opened - and found the staff disinterested in making a sale. Yes, my clothes need alterations. That is just more money in Jos. A. Banks pocket. The one salesperson hid in the back coming out only to move hangers/tags and to engage the other employee in what appeared to be idle conversation. The other employee started talking with me, answered the phone, then went back with the other employee. Responses to my inquiries were answered curtly. I wound up going to Dillard's and purchasing five pair of pants (which needed alteration), two dress shirts, and a pair of shoes. HINT to Joe. A. So while we were overjoyed when our son was invited to the prom, we were nervous about getting him a tux. The staff were kind, generous and professional and made us all feel very comfortable. Usually we love the workers, however we had the worst customer service today by a young man who I have never seen in there who seemed to be incoherent. This is the worst, most irresponsible company I have ever done business with. I went a bought 7 suits from this $hit hole for my wedding party a month and a half ago.. not one of them fit ( after we all went and got measured by them!) and its so bad to the point that one suit may not even be in before my wedding. I have never had a worse experience at a store. I would give 0 stars if I could. I went into Joseph A. Bank in Crestview Hills with my Fiance to look for suits for our wedding. He found a great suit and decided that he would like to order the suits from this store for the wedding. We started a file with the gentleman at the front desk, my fiance got his measurements and we left. The next day, the first groomsman went to get his suit. He spoke with a man at the front desk telling him he was there to get a suit for the wedding and that we had a file. The man at the front desk didn't even look for the file, he just told him there wasn't a file a turned him away. This was just the first issue. That same groomsman went back a few weeks later to order his suit. When his suit came in, his shirt came in too. He ordered a white shirt and they had ordered him a black shirt. The biggest issue we had with this store isn't the issue above. My fiance, myself and the Best Man went in to officially order their suites mid-July. A week later I received a call that my fiances suit was in and we went into the store to pick it up. I realized that even though they were ordered on the same day, the Best Man's suit wasn't in. I called the store back a few days later to check in on this after confirming with the Best Man that he hadn't received a call from the store regarding his suit coming in. A GREAT gentleman named Dan did some research form me and found out the Best Man's order was lost and the suit was NEVER ORDERED. Lucky for me, the suit in the Best Man's size was in the store and they set it aside for him. The biggest issue that I have with this store is with the Manager. Everything was turning out alright even with them losing the order. We we're lucky they had it in store. We went to pick the suit up this morning and we spoke with the manager to tell him about the horrible experience we've had at this store. He didn't care at all. Never once did he apologize for the horrible service, the fact that they ordered the wrong shirt for one groomsman and lost the suit order for the Best Man. Nothing. He just made excuses the whole time. This suit is for our WEDDING. And he just didn't care. He kept saying they were having system issues and that's probably why the order was lost. I just can't believe he never even apologized or tried to make the situation right. Horrible store, Horrible Management. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Absolutely horrible customer service. About 3 weeks ago, I went in looking for a couple suits and (admittedly) went for their buy one get three free sale. Soon after I placed an order, I did more research and reading and didn't have a good feeling about everything, so I called the next day to cancel the order. I was told I'd have to wait for the order to come in to cancel it, so about 10 days later the manager called me and told me I could come in to run my credit card to process the refund. I went in a couple days ago and waited at the register for about 15 minutes with no help, and decided to leave. Today I went back in and was greeted by one of the two employees in the store (at the register). He explained that the manager, Jeremiah, would need to process the refund. He went back to the manager and explained why I was there, and the manager acknowledged it and then went back to helping another customer. 45 MINUTES went by and I was still standing at the front register. Meanwhile, the manager was still working with the same customer, no break to help process what I assumed would be a two minute transaction for me. Finally I went back to the first associate and asked when the manager was going to be available. He said the manager appeared to be about finished, so I went back to the register. Finally, he came up, a big smile on his face, asking how he could help me. I explained why I was there, and he went back to get the suits, stopping to chat with a couple more customers along the way. As he came back and processed my transaction (took about two minutes), he small talked with me and finally said he hoped to see me in there again. This is when I stopped and, raising my voice w/in earshot of other customers, told him absolutely not. I told him I had stood there for 45 minutes with no help, absolutely nothing. He began to explain he had another customer and I again told him how ridiculous it was that he couldn't stop to quickly ring me up and just walked out of there. All of this came with no apology or acknowledgement of how long I had stood there. Please avoid this store and take your business somewhere else. read more
