We purchased my daughter's wedding dress here. While we were there we found a dress we all like for…read moreme as the MOB. Bonnie was amazing with my daughter. I went back to try on the dress we had seen. Vickie pulled that dress and 2 others which were not my taste at all. I started to walk around to see if there was anything I liked. I felt uncomfortable because it felt like I wasn't allowed to do that. Completely different experience than with my daughter. I tried 2 more dresses that I had picked and stuck with the first one. After I put my clothes back on - Vickie measures me over my clothes (summer cotton eyelet dress with a full skirt.). I was like ??? I felt rushed and like she couldn't be bothered. I was there maybe 45 minutes and it was a stressful appointment. She then goes to order my dress and there's an online/web fee plus a rush shipping fee. I said I don't need a rush, we are 5 months out and what's this web fee? I was told it was charged by the designer. She proceeded to tell me that they didn't stock my size, they only stocks to a 14 (my normal size) so it was a custom order (size 16). So I came home and thought about it and placed the order the next day. She came back and said oh delivery date just got pushed out 2 more days, you need to hurry and pay the rush fee. I ordered it and said I don't want rush shipping. Delivery date was almost a full 30 days before the wedding. Well the dress came in 3 days ahead of time - yay. I went and tried it on, it was huge. I was so upset as this was a $650 dress. I knew when I had left my appointment that I didn't feel right. I tried it on and Vickie proceeds to say - oh a smaller size wouldn't have fit you. I went to my alterations lady that I've used for 12 years. She said - you're swimming in this, are you sure they ordered the right size? You needed a size smaller (and no, I have not lost any weight) and I will take it in down to the waist in the bodice, further than that, I really can't because of the zipper. I was so upset and disheartened, she had to basically redo the entire bodice of the dress, re-bead the leaves because she had to take it all in in the front and back and the dress has boning, so it was quite the alteration. I knew it would be too long and that was fine. So on top of $650 plus tax and junk fees, alterations have run me $350 on top of the cost of the dress and this is my person. I had gone to another alterations place they had recommended who said off the cuff it would be over $400 If you go there - make sure you're properly measured!

What a disaster. Vickie wasted over 3 1/2 months of my life. She didn't put in the order for my…read moredress when I paid for it on February 15th. She also didn't take any measurements except my ribcage. So when the dress finally showed up on May 25th, it was way too big. When a representative from the manufacturer tells you to ask for your money back because you were sized wrong, you know there is a big problem. Bonnie gave me a list of seamstresses they recommend. I took the dress to one of them, and she was shocked that no measurements - bust, waist, hips - had been taken and that the dress was so big on me. I took the dress back to Treasures and Vickie and Bonnie immediately got defensive and blamed the seamstress and called her a liar and greedy. Instead of admitting they made a mistake and trying to rectify it, they made a bad situation worse. They lie and stonewall. They will not listen to the customer. They cut you off instead of hearing you out. Now, after planning way ahead, I'm now starting a new search for a dress with only 7 weeks until my daughter's wedding. Save yourself the frustration and heartache and go somewhere other than Treasures. Vickie spends a lot of time talking about people not being nice, but she and her daughters are the ones who are not nice. They are defensive and rude. They are terrible people. Vickie admitted she was stressed out by the house she is building, but she wouldn't admit her mistakes at her own business. When they threaten to "call the authorities" on a customer who has paid them over $1200 and has been more than patient waiting over three months for a dress, you know they regularly have problems with people. Not because of the people, but because of them. Because of how they react and how they treat people. They need to look at the common denominator. Who is the problem? They are. Instead of listening to the customer and trying to make it right, they threaten. So pathetic. They are in a business that deals with a major event in a person's life. But they are terrible at it. It's very sad and so disappointing that I trusted them. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I trusted them and I regret it.

Since we knew we were running a little behind, we called ahead and asked if they could wait just five more minutes, and we were led to believe that wouldn't be a problem. We made it there with only minutes to spare, but instead of being greeted or even spoken to, the employees looked directly at us, refused to open the door, and simply walked away. We waited outside, hoping someone would at least come explain the situation or apologize, but instead two employees walked out, got into their car, and drove away without saying a single word or acknowledging us. After making a five-hour trip, this was beyond disappointing. What hurt the most wasn't that they were closing--it was the complete lack of communication, professionalism, basic courtesy, and respect. A simple conversation or apology would have gone a long way. Instead, we were made to feel like we didn't matter at all. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If this is how they treat customers before they even walk through the door, I can't imagine how they treat people inside. I would never recommend this business based on the way we were treated.

The kurta set, shirt and pants, was $125. $132.50 after 6% sales tax. I thought this was a reasonable price for the design and quality of the kurta I got. I just wore it at an Indian baraat (groom's procession), wedding ceremony, and dinner (I wore a tux at the following day's cocktail hour, reception, and dinner). The brand of my kurta is "Sanskrit" (at least, that's what the neck tag looks like it says) and it's made in India. It's dark blue with a nice pastel floral pattern down the chest, surrounding the buttons. The ends of the sleeves have buttons too. The kurta is long and slim-fitting, and it has an inner lining. The pants are white, made of light fabric, have pockets, and stretch in the waist. I'm only 5-7 and Ladlee had plenty of styles in my short and small size. Turns out I'm a size 38 in kurtas. I opted to get my kurta pants hemmed (personal preference) by my tailor in town instead of at Ladlee because I didn't want to drive back up to Gwinnett just to pick up pants. That said, a little bunching is normal for kurta pants. My wife and I shopped at two other stores at Global Mall before choosing the kurta at Ladlee. We went into this kurta shopping experience blind. Aside from browsing websites like Kalki beforehand, we had no idea which stores were good nor exactly what kind of kurta I wanted. The other stores we visited were Rahul's Clothing and Radhika Collection. Rahul's and Radhika are on the first floor. Ladlee is on the second floor. I tried on kurtas at all three stores. The customer service at Rahul's was good, but the kurta I liked was cheap in quality, especially compared to the kurta I got at Ladlee. However, the price was cheap too ($75) so I can't knock Rahul's for that. If you're looking for the lowest price, check out Rahul's. The customer service at Radhika Collection wasn't great. All kurtas were folded, packed in plastic bags, and stacked on shelves behind the counter. This made it hard to browse. I didn't see anything I liked at Radhika. Ladlee is big and occupies two separate spaces: one for women and one for men and kids. I think Ladlee had the best selection of kurtas in my size. I tried on a couple and my wife and I quickly found the one I eventually purchased. The men and kids side was so busy that an employee offered for me to try on the kurtas on the women's side. That's where I made my purchase too. The customer service at Ladlee was great. We never felt pressured to buy. Also, while I was trying on kurtas, an employee offered to show my wife Ladlee's blouse selection, which they normally only show on weekdays because they're so busy on weekends. They didn't have anything in stock that I wanted, so I ordered something from the book. Less than a week later when I went to try it on because it arrived, we realized they sent the wrong pant size for the suit, so the employee told us we should be able to just take out the material in the pant leg and it would work, but me knowing how small they were and the size of my thighs, I knew they weren't and we said to call the company and have them send me the right pants. A few days later, my mom called the store (because they said they would call but the employee never did so my mom had to be the one to consistently check) to check and make sure they were ordered and the employee said yes and they would be overnighted. Another few days later, my mom called again, but this time the employee said "Oh well the warehouse didn't have them, so we decided to just take out the pants like we talked about", which confused my mom and I because we knew that wouldn't work. And just like I thought, when we came in and tried it on, they still didn't work. So, on Monday (with my prom the following Friday), the employee said he would call again and get the right pants overnighted. My mom checked in every day, and no pants...idk how he "overnighted them" but they didn't come. So Friday, the day of prom arrives, and we show up to the store, still no correct pants, and I decided that I would just take the small pants for now because there wasn't really another option, except black pants (but they didn't look good with my suit). This whole time I had been keeping my cool, but when my mom started asking questions to the employee, he proceeded to keep cutting her off, lying in our faces, and be plain up rude. So I opened my mouth to ask a question, and he proceeded to cut me off, not let me talk, and scream over me. So I had to raise my voice so that he would finally hear me out. My blood was BOILING. We asked if we could speak to a manager or owner, and his response was no. That is not how you run a business. That is terrible customer service. After we left with the pants that were too small, we got the call 10 minutes later that the right pants arrived so we turned around, swapped it out, and ran out of there VERY fast before anything else went badly because of the lies we were told. In the end, we did get the right pants, but they were unhemmed still and it was overall not a good experience with TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT recommend. He could have easily fixed the issue and made it right, and instead he yelled at us and continued to lie to our faces. Absolutely upset.
