My family needed funeral clothing, and for a sure fire fit and quality, we knew we needed a men's suit store. This was the closest to our house since Men's Wearhouse closed. We waited patiently. The gentleman was working by himself, and we understand quality customer service takes time, especially in a specialty store like this. When we were served, my husband and son both tried on various pieces, and we figured out what was still needed. The bulk of the most difficult and important pieces were acquired. The only thing I didn't really care for was that the gentleman helping us tried making conversation about how the younger generation didn't care and called out whenever, which left him by himself. I already know the problems with capitalism, and it has nothing to do with the younger generation. I have been to Josephine Banks, many times over the years as my husband is a businessman and needs clothes for his work. This was the worst service I have ever received. I was greeted when we walked into the store however, after that I was on my own did ask one person who was sitting there, staring at her phone where the pants were, and she pointed them out to us, but then went back to her phone, in fact, she wasn't the only one that was on her phone and I also asked if there was a sale going on and she said maybe then when we went to check out, I'm almost certain that we would not have gotten the reduced price that we should've gotten had not said something. When I asked the person checking us out if there was a sale, he said maybe as I was looking at my phone and could clearly see that everything I had bought was buy one get one 50% off. We will not be returning to this store at this location. read more

Let's start with the good news. The staff here were friendly, polite and professional to me (apparently that's not the case judging by the other reviews). I bought a $300 suit, and they charged me $150 for tailoring. That is a bit steep. I've had a $600 suit *perfectly* tailored elsewhere for $50, and a $1200 suit *perfectly* tailored for $150. So it seems the going rate for tailoring seems to be roughly 10% the value of the suit, but they charged 50%. 2 weeks later, I came back to pick up the suit after tailoring, and to be honest I don't think it had been tailored at all. It still feels like it fits the same way it did originally, and the tailor's crayon markings are still all over the suit. Bottom line: I'll probably take my suit business elsewhere, and will definitely take my tailoring elsewhere. read more

I have a tux, and I called this location in advance to make sure that I could just rent a vest and tie (in a color that I will probably only wear once). The woman on the phone told me that I could, so I drove 25 minutes to the store later that day when I was done with work to look at the options. By that point she had left. I spoke with a young man who was new who said, "I don't think we do that, but let me check with the manager." He comes back and says that they do not do that. I asked if I could speak to the manager since another employee told me that they do rent just the vest and tie. I was very polite at this point. The manager came out and I explained the situation. He asked me when I needed it. I thought, oh good, he's going to help me. I said it's two weeks away. He said, "Well you will have to come back tomorrow and talk with her since she's the one who told you she would do that." I explained that I drove 25 minutes and really would rather not have to come back. He said that was my only option. I asked him, "Aren't you the manager?" He said yes. I said, "So you will let an employee go against store policy, but you won't make that exception yourself?" He said that was correct. It was on her, not him. That's when I became frustrated and admittedly snarky. I asked, "So who is managing the store? You or her?" He asked me if there was anything else he could help me with. I told him no, that I had all the information I thought I needed and that I wouldn't be returning the next day, or indeed any other day in the future. He said, "Then I suggest you move toward the door as quickly as possible." Customer service at an all time low, folks. read more

Do not go here to get suits for a wedding. 6 groomsmen and the groom, only 2 were sized correctly. They said three would be plenty of time for alterations, got them back a week before the wedding. The groom's was among those sized incorrectly. Went back to see if we could have it re-altered, they said they wasnt enough time to alter it the way the groom wanted. And it wasn't the groom being difficult, one of the sales man said he was given the wrong jacket size that was too big. They just gave him another jacket that was smaller than his actual size so he could get a "fitted" look. So we got an unfitted jacket for our wedding. I felt so awful for my unhappy groomsen. In addition to the money they paid to get their suits altered at the store, they paid for alterations again with other tailors to try to get them to fit properly because the store said they didn't have time for additional alterarions because they have so many customers. It wasn't just one or two that were upset. They were all really upset about the whole thing. My cousin who was one of our groomen has his seamstress tell him that his suit was too big. for him but the she would try to make it fit. The other seamstress who refitted our other groomen said similar remarks, it wasn't just us who thought that way. I overheard the seamstress at this location say that the groom just wanted it "extra tight" ... no... it just would've been nice if the jacket fit and wasn't oversized. When the grooms mom went to pick up his suit, she asked for a refund for the alterations. The guy who attended him responded with "have him call me". I'm not saying all the sales man are terrible, the one who was there when we returned about sizing was actually really nice although there was nothing they could really do to help us. But the one who sold us the suit was so arrogant. I called and spoke to him on the phone and his attitude was that "we were wrong". He was also very pushy when he sold us the suits. All my groomens said he was being pushy and arrogant. Oh by the way, we asked for suits that were slim fit. Not a single one was slim fit and we didn't realize it until after because we trusted the salesman. Groom was really upset. When I went back I mentioned this and I was told they didn't have navy blue in slim fit. I walked over to their slim fit section. There was plenty of navy blue???? I understand that this is just another sale for you, but this was our wedding, it was important to us. In all honestly, I wouldn't have rated them as low if they had done something about it to compensate for it. It isn't our fault that they sized incorrectly and they couldn't fix it in time. When mistakes happen, the way in which they respond is important. I work at an eye doctor's office. Mistakes happen, sometimes the wrong prescription Is put into a patient's frame, and our optician always takes responsibility and orders a new lens to cut and place into the patient's frame.. We don't have lenses in stock due to it being a small practice. If we are unable to order a lens on time before a certain timeline (example theyre going on vacation or their son is leaving for college and needs his glasses to take with him) we give them a full refund and recommend them to a practice that has lenses in stock and are able to have their glasses ready on time. Lenses are custom made for patient and money is lost, but right is done by the patient. We could have at least gotten a refund on alterations, since nearly all our groomsmen paid again with different tailors. Brides, weddings are stressful. My groom chose this location rather than his usual tailor because it was meant to be a special occasion for us. You don't need this kind of stress on top of everything ur already stressing about during wedding planned. Go with a place you already know and trust. read the other bad reviews concerning weddings on here, and chose somewhere else. I wouldn't dream this on another bride. Theyre just going to reply on my review their "im sorry please contact us so we can look into......" No. We tried to have this fixed in store and nothing was done. I dont think they'll do anything to compensate but ill update this if they do. My two engaged girlfriends, my groom's engaged friend, his engaged brother and engaged mother will not be shopping at this location for their bridal party's suits. Very difficult language barrier.. Went into the store, and older, foreign man "helped" me. As mentioned was looking to purchase a tux... could be upwards of a $1000 purchase or more.. As we walked towards the rack.. his cell phone rings... He takes the call. Incredulously, he just starts a casual conversation... clearly not a family emergency, etc, which I could maybe understand... Just chatting about stuff... I was trying on a jacket as he was chatting.. I had questions. Clearly, his personal phone call was far more important in the customer and my potential business. Wife and I left... The worst shopping experience I've had in a while.My son and I went to this location to find a suit/tux for prom. During the discussion, I told the associate the date of the prom and also the name of the high school ( he asked 3x's). The associate started making snide remarks about how long it was taking my son to make a decision. That was after about an hour or so. Mind you he was not tethered to us he was helping other customers as well. My son did finally decide on a suit and was told by another associate that the pants could be altered a certain way. Then to be told by the original associate that they couldn't be done that way. So in his agitation he told us he would hold the suit and we could come back the next day and speak with the tailor. We came back the next day to speak with the tailor and apparently the associate had already spoken with the tailor. The tailor was super rude he thought he knew what my son wanted because of what the associate had relayed to him and wouldn't allow my son to finish explaining, he walked off. Then I go to the associate trying to see what would be the simplest hem for him to do. He says well he's booked two weeks out. He says it so cavalier and unapologetically. I was pissed because I told him the date that the suit was needed the previous night. He had us waste a day by holding the suit instead of just selling us the suit the night before. There wasn't a need for us to talk the tailor he couldn't get it done in the time frame that we needed it. The fact that he didn't give us that pertinent information could have been overlooked, but his arrogance and unwillingness to admit his mistake and apologize was unacceptable. read more

WHEN THE BOY BECOMES A MAN, HE WILL SHOP AT THIS STORE. This store is designed for the professional man who either loves or doesn't love shopping. If you love shopping, you will appreciate the ability to just breeze through the store and find everything that you need to be dressed from head to toe. They carry suits, dress shirts, casual clothing, sweaters and great "LEATHER" accessories. Those leather belts are the business! If you are a man who dislikes shopping, this store is great because it allows you to go in with laser focus and have an employee assist you with whatever you need so that you can shop in a timely and efficient manner. You don't have to deal with crazy parking or "mall crowds" so you should have a great shopping experience. This store reminds me of the store where you actually build relationships so that when you are in need of specific items, you can call and ask Bob to pull a few items and have them ready for you when you arrive. Bob says "no problem" because he has actually memorized your size and knows exactly what you like and what you need. He will even call you to detail the new shipment that just arrived. Bob is your personal shopper and he never disappoints! It is great to be able to go into a store and know that whatever you purchase is quality. When I got there, was very rudely told I couldn't come in without a mask. The store I was in the day before didn't require a mask and no one was wearing one, so I was a little surprised. When I came back in after getting a mask, I asked for the guys name as I was reaching out to corporate. He wouldn't give it to me. I had called ahead to see if a shirt I needed was in stock and was told they had 4. When I asked where they were, I was told that they had "just sold" all of them. Extremely poor costumer service, unable to be engaged or to listen to my questions. Unable to show me me any samples of the suit I was buying for my friends wedding. Tried to charge me $300 dollars more than what our package was. The guy John, 26 year old kid, kept making excuses for every time he couldn't answer a question or do something. He had me try a pair of pants on and when I got out of the dressing room I had to walk around the store to find him sitting down on his phone. The online stock didn't have any of my sizes 32/32, 31/32 or 32/34. I will never shop at jos a bank again and I will be actively telling my friends and family to use any other company. The only reason they get a second star was because of the make up customer service I received from the manager. Rented a tux from this store 225$ arrived for the fitting and it had to be totally re done, 100% polyester shirt awful. The manager said they don't rent cotton shirts, I told him to refund my money then. Miraculously they found a shirt. Also did some price checking just for curiosity sake, found that Men's Warehouse rents EXACTLY THE SAME TUX!!! for 70$ less. I'm not rich and I don't appreciate being taken to town bye any business. I've had good luck in the past with JAB. I received a $100 coupon in the mail I redeemed online for a pair of shoes. No problem w/ order and delivery but the shoes were a half size small. Nice shoes. Went for a return to the local store in the Atrium in Norcross, Ga. This was recommended by JAB as the preferred return method. Returned to store today. Shawn promptly created me and said I should have come to the store first and refused to help. Agreed he was happy to take the shoes back if I don't need another pair. Essentially I should just take the loss and they don't do returns. That went over very well. Shawn knows how I feel now about his clown show. Had to go back to corporate for assistance. I've been to this location before and noticed the service was poor. The Yelp scores and my friends said don't go to Norcross and the other stores were much better. I knew what I wanted and didn't need them for much. If you need service and there is no commission involved for guys like Shawn good luck getting any help. Terrible service and I told Shawn that. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. We picked them for suits for our wedding. At first, we felt great, and Brett helped us pick suits that we really liked. After that, he was impossible to get in touch with. Two of my groomsmen are in Charlotte, NC, so there are a lot of logistics that need to be handled remotely. Brett assured us that this would not be an issue, but hard to say if we will even have our suits in time for the wedding. When someone finally gets in touch with him, he promises that he will give them a call back and then just doesn't. Everyone at this store has always been customer focused and make you feel as if YOU are the most important customer they've ever met. This is especially true of Michael Ebirien-Agana and the store manager Sean Robinson. When I first moved to the Atlanta area, I choose this store because it without knowing how close it would be to my home. Although it's many miles away from home I'm very willing to go out of my way to get highly attentive service.
