As we were about to leave for a black tie wedding that was 2+ hours away, we realized that the dry cleaners gave my husband the wrong suit! What a nightmare!! With no time to spare we called Jos. A Bank (after calling Men's Wearhouse and being told "it's busy here, we'll get to you when we get to you") and thank God we were greeted on the phone by Taj. She asked a few questions about shirt size, height, fit, etc and told us she would get whatever they had ready for us. It was ready by the time we got there and we couldn't believe it was a perfect fit!!! Taj is a literal angel who saved the day! I cannot overstate how grateful we are for her! I took both my boys to the store on Route 22 in Eastchester, NY to get fitted for suits. I was pleasantly surprised! I have never had so much help in one store. Taj sized my sons up without even using a measuring tape! I was amazed at how accurate her measurements were. She made great suggestions for hems, shirts, pant style, jackets, etc. She picked out new shirt, ties, and belts as well. My boys were very happy. We can't wait to go back for another suit. Everyone in that store was very pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend it. read more

We had a disaster of a time at a different location and refused to work with the other store. Tried this location and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service received. We were helped right away which already was a great start. We went for wedding tux rentals and we were shown ample examples of jackets, pants, ties bow tie colors, etc. he was able to try on jackets and pants which was also great. The other location refused to show us any samples of any sort and only wanted to measure my fiancé - mind you my fiancé had said he'd buy a suit instead that day and the sales clerk told him the one he wanted was too complicated to buy because the sale clerk would have to find matching pants to the jacket... but that's a different story. This location made the whole process easy and not stressful. Highly recommend using this location for rental needs! read more

My son and I went to store #0784 in Fairfield, CT to reserve a tuxedo rental for his senior prom. We reserved the tux on 05/06/2022 for prom on 06/03/2022. On Wednesday 06/01/2022 I called to verify pick up and was told the tux delivery was delayed until 06/02/2022. On Thursday 06/02/2022 I presented to the store for pick up at about 5pm only to be told that delivery was delayed until 06/03/2022 (prom day) with no guaranteed delivery time. The store itself was a disgusting mess and dirty. Needless to say I requested a refund and am left with no tux for my sons prom. I will NEVER return to this store or recommend to anyone. read more

His salesperson, Motaz, was very knowledgeable, considerate and extremely helpful. He made sure that the tuxedo was a good fit. He went out of his way to find the right shirt and other accoutrements. Worst experience. Looks like we shall be returning to Brooks Brothers and simply wait for their sales. JAB advertises sales but will direct you to the most expensive options as soon as you enter the store. Their "sales" are marked up, then down. But the REAL problem is the shoddy quality of the suits and tailoring. For almost $500.00, we've had to return (twice so far) due to defective manufacturing further complicated by sloppy tailoring. Brand new suit, ripples in the jacket, strings hanging off various seams, a large "pull" in a pants leg. No bargains here and cheap workmanship. read more

I walked into the store and waited and waited .. no one helped me. They saw me standing there, but did not approach me. I guess they were too busy. I finally asked for help. A lady bigwig who was visiting the store from corporate came over and said she would help. Nothing she showed me fit very well. Finally, I told her in a gentlemanly way I didn't think I was finding anything, and thanked her. She immediately became distant and even less friendly than before. I wasn't buying, so now there was no reason to even be civil. This is not a professional approach. I would not go back to this store. read more

I don't care for this store at all. From the first time I walked in around January they stared at me as I walked in but only one person spoke, I had a voucher for a free suit and alteration but they made me pay for an upgraded suit and alterations. My suit was damaged during the shipping so I had to do it all over again. I just don't care for this place at all, the tailor gave me old man cuffs at the bottom of my pants which I know I didn't ask for because I hate that look, it's nothing against the company because I know when I stopped by a JOS A Banks in jersey they were a lot friendlier. Either the staff here needs to be retrained or everyone should be forced to retire except for the one manager who was really nice to me during the process. read more

I received a hundred dollar belt (with receipt) as gift there about 9 months ago. I've used it a dozen times and the middle piece broke off. I brought it back figuring they would replace it or send it back to the manufacturer. I was told they only take back products after 9 days. I had a Coach belt that I wore every day for 10 years and never had a problem. Everything I've ever received from Jos A Bank has been of inferior quality. Do yourself a favor walk across the street to Lord and Taylor's or head to Macy's. read more

They had a big savings day on Black Friday. Suits as low as $149. I buy suits a few times a year and willing to pay several hundreds of dollars if its quality and nice looking. Got to the store and it was of course busy which was fine. I generally know what I like and know what my size is, regardless I get them tailored anyway. None of the suits in the store were marked if they were on sale or part of the Black Friday special. The only way to find out was to ask one of the employees. The staff was pretty busy but on 2 moments I was able to get their attention and ask on how much one of the suits cost. Both times I was told that they would help me in a minute and walked away. The interesting thing is that both times the same employees never came back to help me and instead ran to customers who were much older and dressed nicer. I was always taught never to judge a book by its cover. Instead I went over to Brooks Brothers which was more expensive, and dropped almost $1,000 on 2 suits of the same value that you found in Jos A Bank. Both customers that they had helped over me instead paid less than $300 total for what they were sold. I dont demand 100% attention and not very needy when I buy clothes. But if you cant stop for 20 seconds to inform me how much an item costs then I gues you are not good enough to sell it to me either. read more

Had no luck at Lord and Taylor across the street so went in. I don't leave many yelp reviews but dang, you people are brutal! I got helped as soon as I walked in with just a vague idea of what I wanted. The guy took me around, measuring and having me try on different jackets until we found the perfect one, about 15 jackets later. Set me up with a shirt and more, wasn't trying to upsell at all -- even pointed out the jacket on clearance was the best fit. Ended up paying half as much as I would've elsewhere, and look twice as sharp. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They gave my groomsmen the wrong shirts for my wedding!!! I stood in the store for an hour and a half as one person measured us for French cuffs and the others were goofing around...I had 8 made to measure suits for my groomsmen with a different brand in New York and all I asked from this store was to get white French cuff shirts.... I realized ON MY WEDDING DAY that half of the shIrts were not French cuff resulting in my groomsmen's gifts "cuff links" to not be used and half of my groomsman party was dressed different. After I reached out to them they told me someone was going to call me about the incident and never did!!! I called them again and they tried telling me it was my fault!!!! They are horrible and inconsiderate. read more

I bought suits there about a year ago and am thinking of going back for the sale.... but my experience with the tailor was awful... I had to go back three times for them to get it right and even then, it wasn't as good as it should have been. Otherwise, suit quality is o.k., staff is mediocre. read more

The tailoring is a joke. After two weeks I came back to find that one pant leg was one inch longer than the other. When I pointed this out the tailor said "well, which one do you want, the longer leg or shorter?". Their suits are garbage and require at least 150 dollars of expert tailoring to make them look presentable. I used to get sucked into their "deals" but after having to return my last suit from them, I'm done. Jobs a bank is garbage and perfect if you're cheap and have no fashion sense. read more
