I will not be back here, they are overpriced and obnoxious. My husband and son had to get tuxes here for a wedding. Several of the wedding party tuxes came back ill fitting. My son's had to be exchanged, along w/ his shoes. They hemmed my husbands pants and there was a distinct line were it was sewn...LIKE 5 INCHES above the ankle! The manager (older white female) is dismissive. Not all of the staff were that way, there was a black female there who was wonderful and down to earth. Josepphhhh Aaaaaaa Bank. The place where if you buy 2 suits at full price you get 15 suits, 8 silk ties, a Honda Civic, and no service...abbbbsoluuuuuutely freeeeee. My buddy went to pick up his suit tonight and I went for the ride. There were three people working there. One person was helping a couple, the other two were standing around in the store at some points doing absoooooluuuuuutely nothingggg. My friend got helped after several long minutes of waiting and was told to walk back to the fitting room himself, which feels like it's in the employee break room. He came out dressed in his new suit and waited for someone to check it out to make sure everything fit right. Nobody home. Crickets. We proceeded to walk through the entire store hoping someone would help him. Nope. He then stood in the middle of the store without any other customers surrounding him and waited in his suit for some help. The other two guys just stood there. One was behind the counter typing something unimportant and the other guy leaned on a rack so he could hold it up. Hey, it's heavy! Finally, my friend walks to the front desk and asks the woman to just have a quick look. She can't be bothered to walk the 3' around the desk so she leans over the counter to have a glance. She says, "Yeah, it's ok." Delco's finest. My friend completes the purchase and funds their ad slogans for another day. Joseph A Banks your money for little in return. Went in to get fitted for a tux rental. I needed the tux shipped to Arizona for altercations and pick up. The woman behind the counter was polite and very helpful. She called the AZ store and got my initial measurements done. I was very pleased with my transaction here and would not mind going back in the future. read more

I was recently married last month and used Joseph A Banks in Springfield PA. Since day one when we picked out our suits for the wedding and started a group purchase this store has messed up 4 times with the order. The first time they said the suits came in everyone's sizes but you guess it they didn't. All of the groomsman had to go back in and order a new suit. The second time all the suits came in and the pants were wrong they were the wrong fold. The third time all of the suits were picked up but two because when the two groomsman went to pick up the suits one month before the Wedding we were told they were lost!! Peter the store manager gave me a gift card and said he would Taylor those two suits for free. So that problem was solved. On the day of the wedding we noticed during our pictures that can never be recreated because we flew our photographer in from Mississippi. The two suits that went missing were Differnt Colors !!!!! Our wedding pictures are ruined! I called the store personally and called corrporate. The store said they would give me one suit for free. Really!! My wedding pictures are ruined ! Corporate said they would call me back but they never did. It's been over a month now and I just can't belive a large business like this messed up something so important. Customer service from hell!!! Worst experience of our whole wedding process was our two trips to this store! Rude, stupid, and uninformed staff! Upon our first trip shopping for tux rentals, I couldn't stand Donna's obnoxious tone. She didn't even know anything about the new tux rental system! Mid-conversation, she even just walked away. While it was a few minutes before store closing, they turned the music off which is beyond rude to do while customers are still in the store. Upon our second visit, the stupidity actually escalated. I asked an African-American man a question who completely ignored me and kept walking by. Luckily, we went to the Glen Mills location before hand instead and got a wealth of information from Emily there, so, after TWO HOURS in Springfield, 15 of which Kathy the cocky, rude, and lazy lady couldn't figure out how to delete a groomsmen we mistakenly included who already has his own tux, also a portion of the time taken for the woman to ask me how to find a zero on her keyboard, still, no information about the actual tux pieces put in the system, I couldn't take it anymore, snatched up the sheet she was typing in at probably 10 wpm, and walked out. We canceled the whole thing at Springfield, will never go back, and will deal with someone who gave a damn, took the time to learn the new tux system, and who is a pleasure to work with at the Glen Mills location, Emily. I refuse to tolerate people who have jobs who don't appreciate them, give rude service, who are not knowledgeable, and who make excuses that it's a "new system" rather than bothering to learn how to use it. 1 star is too much for the Springfield location of Jos. I am a 69 year old retired senior citizen living on a fixed income. I needed a suit to attend my sons wedding in May. I went on the internet to look at reviews of: Sears, Macy's, Men's warehouse, Burlington, and two old time mom and pop men's stores. . I want to tell you that I went into Jos A Banks in Springfield PA 19064. Before I went to any store, I did some research, I looked at reviews, specifically of experiences with men's warehouse, and Jos A Bank. I have to say that most of the reviews were very derogatory. lots of 1 star rating and more than enough to make me concerned about what I would find when I got there. OK Let me tell you about this young lady Donna Jordan, of Jos A Banks in Springfield DELCO on Baltimore pike, who was impeccably dressed. With apprehension I walked in the door, prepared for everything and anything negative that I had read. I was greeted with a smile by Mss. Jordan. So, OK , I thought to myself,. the vibe is good. No one is jumping me for a sale. I walked around and look a bit as I like to do, I was prepared for the attack. which never came. Although Donna introduced her self very pleasantly and after a short time ( 5 minutes ) came back and asked if she could help me , so I told her I was looking for a suit for my son's wedding and living on a fixed income, I was looking for a nice suit that wouldn't break the bank for me. She was very nice and there was no high pressure or even low pressure , just the type of service you would want . So Donna showed me some suits in my size. But not buying a suit in at last 12 years, I had some sticker shock. We found several suits but there was one that I really liked but it was more money than I wanted to spend.. So I thanked her and she was very pleasant and thanked me for coming in. Fast forward , went to a bunch of other stores, where suits were much cheaper in some cases and more expensive than others. No one at any store was rude to me, but I got the impression that at the store down the street ( the mother ship ) so to speak had nothing for me.. They didn't try to work with me and only had a few suits in my size and price range, none of which I liked. The suits I liked where twice the money and I got the feeling that they wanted me to up my bottom line, so they could sell me a 600 dollar suit. I did a two hours circuit of checking the stores that I reviewed. Every store I went to, my gut told me that Donna made the difference. I did not even consider the other stores but I had to look. so I returned to the Jos a Banks in Springfield and was again greeted by Donna Jordan who welcomed me back. I don't know what they are paying her, but it probably isn't enough. She went way above and beyond to make sure I was 100 % satisfied. Specifically. I loved the suit she helped me pick out. I wanted it with plain front pants ( no Pleats ) she went to the computer and could not find the pants in my size with no pleats. so I tried on several pair of non pleated pants just for size.. She told me that the computer says they can not order the correct pants in plain front only pleated. So reluctantly I tried them on,( the pleated ones) all the while Donna was on the phone trying to find out why she could not order the plain front in my size.. She thought maybe it was a discontinued line.. anyway to make a long story extremely long, she went the extra mile and contacted customer service... while the computer said there was no stock,,, customer service found that they had 91 pair of plain front pants in my size.in a warehouse that had not logged the entry in.so they were not in the computer. I had settled on the pleated pants reluctantly, and all the while she knew I was not happy and was trying to help me, and make me happy with the plain front pants and because of her tenacity, she made me extremely happy and was able to secure the suit with the plain front pants design. I'm an Old guy who knows the value of world class service and I would like you to know that Donna delivered for me, and that's what world class service is all about.. If Jos A Banks could clone Donna Jordan, there would be more five star ratings on Google and Yelp. and less one star ratings. . If the need arises again I will go back and see her in a heart beat. and if the opportunity presents itself, Ill send friends there knowing that they will be in good hands. ON a side note , everyone in the store, both customers and sales people all seemed to be very cordial and happy with their interactions. I could see no reason why anyone would give less than a five star rating because I am very observant and in the 45 minutes I was there,. everyone seemed well satisfied.. Bill read more
