What a great experience! My son is very tall and slim, making it difficult to find a really nice suit. We went to the Phoenixville location to get fitted for his first custom suit. Brenda was awesome to work with. Panic was setting in since he was leaving for vacation and needed the suit tailored before then. Spoke with Sue on Monday, and by Tuesday the suit was in Drexel Hill. Sue completely empathized with our situation, and Jimmy was able to get my son all tailored up Weds., and now I can breath again! The suit is really clean-cut and good-looking. Saget's has been and always will be my go to place for tuxedo rentals. First came here when I was in high school to get my tuxes for the Proms. Then when my brother got married we came here for our tuxes. Then, when my big day to get married came, there was no other place I wanted to go except for Saget's. I had a set picture in my head of what I wanted my tux to look like since our wedding theme was "old school Hollywood". Jimmy worked with me, and we came up with a great look. Everyone's tux looked and fit great! We got loads of compliments. After the wedding we went to a local bar to grab a six pack of beer. It was quite a pleasure working with the folks here. I believe my groom went through the process of renting a suit with Alyssa and she was quite good at getting the sizing and making everything painless. They were closing within an hour and I was surprised to go here and not feel rushed. You know how that usually goes; you go somewhere and they are close to closing, and you get an attitude and halfhazard service. Not the case here. I can't wait to see how the suit rental comes out. I think it wound up being on our 'high' end budget-wise, but the suit looks incredibly sharp and I get the feeling they are totally competent here. read more

Saget's was an absolute pleasure to deal with for outfitting our wedding party. From the first call to set up an appointment, I knew we made the right choice. The woman on the phone was warm and friendly and eager to find a time that worked for the groom and our wedding party. My husband took our 3 year old to be fitted as well and the woman who measured him couldn't have been more wonderful to him. She patiently measured him and made him feel so comfortable, he didn't stop talking about it for days. My now husband also thoroughly enjoyed his experience. Our out of town wedding party members were able to send over their measurements via Internet which made the entire process seamless. Everything was perfect for my husband, dad, and other members of our bridal party. I returned the tuxes today and had another great experience chatting with the head tailor and thanking him for an amazing job. My brother had his wedding party's tuxes fitted here. I have to say, they fit great. The staff was professional, although he did ask me if I was going to stay at my current weight because "the tension is near it's max". I understand they're trying to judge your weight vs the fit of the tux...just kinda struck me the wrong way, but only a bit. He actually tried to say it in a nice way so I'll give him credit. I guess I could thank him because then I went and lost 5 lbs after that. Back to the rest of the staff...Wow, were they good looking. Wasn't expecting that. Wish I could give Saget's 10 stars! After a sub-par experience at Men's Wearhouse, we went to Saget's after meeting Jimmy at the Radnor Wedding Expo. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like true clients. Jimmy is a true expert in his field and excellent with customer service. Jake and Jimmy helped to show us the options available and helped us to make informed decisions, based on our style preferences, trends and season. Additionally, the quality of the clothing was fantastic. The day before the wedding, the groomsmen did a fitting and had the rentals tailored to make sure they looked sharp. Another service that Saget's offers is the day-of service. Jimmy or Jake come to where the men are getting ready and help them stay on time and make any last minute adjustments. Since we used real bow ties, it was also helpful to have a professional tie them. The day-after complimentary pick-up service was also a nice perk and one less thing to worry about! Thank you! My wife and I brought a dress to Saget's to be altered. The tailor told us it would be $160 to fix the dress, then changed her price to $200. We were not happy with the change of price but agreed. After about a half hour of pinning up the dress the way we wanted it we were told that the dress would cost $400 to fix. Of course we took our business elsewhere. read more

Simply put, if you're looking for tuxes at Joseph A. Bank, Men's Wearhouse, or Presidential Tuxedo, you are going to work with amateurs who may have a high school education and might have worn a tux to their prom six year ago! Additionally, if you go to any of Saget's competitors, they have one--MAYBE two--slim, modern fit tuxedos for you to chose from, and they're going to charge you $230+ for that tux. Then, a kid with no clue what a gorge, peak lapel, shall lapel, or formal cuff are will "fit" you so poorly that you look like a clown on the most important day of your life! Jim, is a professional! He has a myriad of tuxedo brands, looks, and fits for you to choose from. He pays attention to the details when putting your tux together, and will offer fantastic recommendations for your event. I wore a black/black/black tux for my wedding ceremony and he recommended I change into a white "smoking" jacket for my reception. Best suggestion, and an even better decision to listen to him! Super classy! Also, everyone of my groomsmen were from hours outside of Philadelphia. With the network Jim works with, everyone was able to be fitted close to their homes for convenience, and when they arrived in Philadelphia, Jim had the sizes the submitted as well as a "backup" tux in case of a misfit! He had everything taken care of and everything worked out perfectly! He also worked closely with our wedding hotels, and we were able to leave all the tuxedos at the front desk the next morning for him to pick-up! I can't say enough great things about Saget's! Warning!! Bridesmaids beware. Do not go here for dress alteration. This place is such a rip off. I brought a bridesmaid dress to have 1 inch off the bottom and she told me it is would cost me $120. My mother-in-law recommended Sagets to me when I was looking for tuxedos for our groomsmen for our wedding. I was impressed the moment I made contact with James. He was responsive and very professional about everything. The groomsmen had their suits fitted here--we went elsewhere for the groom since we don't live in the area anymore. James and the rest of the team over at Sagets were absolutely wonderful throughout the process. One of our groomsmen has a medical condition and was unable to get fitted until about a week and 1/2 before our wedding. We ordered a tux through one of those online tux rentals for a wedding (required to rent from there for the wedding party) and the tux did not fit right. We brought it into Saget's and they were incredibly helpful. The owner took care of us right away, and did the alterations while we waited! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. He was super kind and very professional. He even steamed the tux and shirt after. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back in the future to rent from him. read more

I cannot recommend using Saget's for alterations. We received excellent service in 2014; the alteration of our daughter's prom gown was timely and expertly completed, at a price that was reasonable. Our experience this year was very different. The seamstress was flustered and overmatched by the process of hemming a circle skirt. This required an additional fitting and resulted in an alteration that was sub-par yet cost much more than the price that we paid for a superb alteration last year. When we asked why the price of this alteration was so much more (for so much less), the staff response was not helpful and did not inspire confidence in their service. We will not be returning, and we will not recommend Saget's to others. read more

He has a talent for being flexible to your needs, all while offering creative solutions to achieve the look you want. His tuxedos are very high quality (and affordable!) and his team goes the extra mile to make sure you look your best. I have a difficult body type to fit, and Jimmy customized a tuxedo to make sure I looked amazing. I would highly recommend his "Day of Wedding Services"! Having him there the day of helping us get dressed really eased our minds and he helped guide the photographer to get some great "getting ready" shots...not to mention we had an emergency with the hotel shuttle and he jumped right in to help solve it!
