This was an unexpected treat as it was prepared in such a way that I'd call it decadent. It looked like a square of lasagna and what you found was thinly sliced eggplant layered with cheese and other ingredients that made it the best eggplant Parmesan I've ever eaten. There, I said it. The best. The mixed greens and grilled focaccia is a nice touch to what you'll be enjoying with the eggplant.

The server was nice enough but was really forgetful. We got chips and queso. The chips were stale and cold and hard, not crispy. I got a burger. It was ok. My husband got chicken Alfredo. The chicken was overdone and didn't really look like chicken. Now there aren't a lot of options in this small town. And I'm sure there are many tourist customers like us. So this happens sometimes where the food and service are not the best because they know we won't be back. But stale chips? They could do better.

There was no actual cheese on them, just a somewhat runny, room temperature white liquid, cold pinto beans, guacamole, sour cream, a plentiful amount of black olives, and pickled jalapenos. I have had better nachos at a truck stop, where they at least are served hot. This is the 3rd time I have tried Amigos and the 3rd disappointment. I guess I give up on them.
