So I just got my hair done this past weekend and i absolutly could not be happier. I happen to have dark hair and wanted to do an ombre, I didnt want it too drastic and didnt want the red tint in my hair to come through. Many years ago, after Joey did my hair, my Mother-in-Law remarked that He had hands of gold! ( So is his heart ) Platinum is more like it! I have been going to him since he first started doing hair. His cuts are amazing. I have had every kind of style over the years, from pixie short to big and sexy and long and straight, and I have loved them all! Nobody has ever given me a better blow- out! He also does an excellent job with color. He listens and truly cares about his clients. Without fail, I get great compliments about my hair after he does it. Even if I am only getting a color touch up, I always try to have him blow dry my hair because I know that it will look fabulous afterward. And isn't that why we go to a pro? Do not go to this salon! The colorist tried to do something she couldn't do and should know her capabilities. I had clumps of hair falling out after my visit and went to another salon for corrective care because the salon did not open for two days and then did not call me back right away. It was beyond obvious they already knew why I was calling. Was I supposed to wear a baseball cap to work or take off and lose two days of salary? Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. Unwilling to refund for services provided and refused to reimburse the extravagant expense it was to correct Monica's horrible work. Which I absolutely cannot afford to do. After 5 inches cut off and an additional three hours of repair treatment my hair is finally allowing a brush to go through it without clumps of hair in it nor in my hands. The receptionist/manager Rosemary is completely unprofessional and should learn how to speak to people without being unsympathetic and completely disrespectful. Certainly would not want her as my employee. What a horrible reflection or shall I say just more evidence as to what type of salon it is. One would think that in a reputable place of business they would want to rectify an awful situation as a good business gesture. Their reputation is a farce and they are just horrible and incompetent. Joseph Cara would not even get on the phone and Monica is no where to be found. This salon should never be allowed to service anybody again after the way they not only treated my hair but also treated me. I repeat do not go to this salon if you plan on walking out with healthy hair. read more

I brought my two sons here after one of the hairdressers what I was looking for as far as a cut. I showed her several pictures and she said it was not hard to do and not a problem at all. It took a very long time to cut their hair - over an hour and what we ended up with was hardly worth the time. My one son was supposed to get a "boy band shag". His was the most disappointing. He ended up with a mullet. Short tapered hair on the sides and long in the back. It's awful. My other son just needed his hair to be evened out. I had to stop her because she was going shorter and shorter and it was just not coming out right. I couldn't keep a two year old sitting in the chair for more than 20 minutes and we were teetering on that. I am so unhappy with this experience. The hairdresser was very nice (that's the two star review) but shouldn't claim to know how to do something if you don't. I also don't understand how you can look at several pictures, say it's not difficult and then have us walk out with something that isn't even close. My older son said he wanted his hair back. I honestly feel the same way. Never ever again. read more
