I have sleep apnea and wanted some type of mouth guard and they seemed to be a best fit based on all my research. When I came in, I scheduled during my lunch hour, and it was less than 5 minutes from the office. I loved that I got a notification reminder week of and hour before, as sometimes I tend to lose track of time. I entered into a bright lobby and was greeted promptly (by name!!!) and was checked in. The wait time wasn't long, just a couple of minutes and the dental assistant guided me back to the room. Walking through the halls, have such great lighting, great for a photo!! lol, but entered in the room, chair was super comfy and they have a tv on the chair so you are distracted for whatever dental cause brought you in! Great for those that don't like the dentist! Dr. McRay came in after getting all checked in and asked me about my sleep study and helped review over all the information in the results and explained in great detail what he was able to offer and provide me and how he is different from other devices that are used out in the industry. I was really happy with how knowledgeable he was, as well as the staff, and making me feel super comfortable with my choice and confident in moving forward. He explained all the costs upfront and what all the costs entailed, which I left feeling even more confident that I'd made the right choice. I left and took some time to think it all through and before I knew it, I was scheduling my follow up to get fitted for my mouth guard. The cool thing about their process includes some breathing tests so that they know how to make adjustments to the mouth guard and make it truly fitted for you. They sent everything off and received back in two weeks. Night one, I noticed such a huge difference in how I slept and woke up feeling so rested and less groggy. It's amazing what one thing could do to change your entire sleep cycle. It's been a few weeks now, and still loving it. I had a follow up with Dr. McRay and he is just a dream and so is the team! I've had such a great experience with them, and looking forward to future visits! Who knew you could say that about a dentist!

Both Dr. Heather and Dr. Brett are general dentists. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend seeing an endodontist--a specialist in root canal treatment--for any endodontic procedure. I wish I had gone to a specialist from the beginning.

He explained that unfortunately I lacked enough tooth after the root canal to make the crown work for any great length of time. Wow, honestly! He said that the root canal plastic could last almost as long if I had the crowns and if I behaved and took care of my teeth and gums I could hopefully postpone the Implants that probably should have been done---which I did not want. I'm going to switch dentist and have my teeth cleaned at Westchase Dental from now on, that was I'll know that when I'm told something needs to be done I'll be confident it's necessary and not some sort of money grab.

I have a good tolerance to pain, but I had issues with my teeth being sensitive to the cold water they used - Dr. Hakeem made sure to warm up the water after recognizing the issue so I'd have less discomfort. I gave the staff quite a challenge at my first appt as I had to have my cleaning done in time to make it to my son's last soccer game, and they didn't disappoint! They kept me updated with the time, and got me out of there quickly, but without lacking in my cleaning! I had a hard time with the financial obligations of the treatment at first, but the billing lady worked with me so we could come up with the best plan for both of us (and for the record, I blame the insurance, not the office for that displeasure!) I went for a cleaning during covid and the precautions they have taken to ensure the safety of her staff and patients is the best I've seen for any establishment. They have plenty of hand sanitizer, face shields, masks, and windows to minimize risk. They email you forms prior to your appointment and are doing their best to minimize unnecessary contact. I felt safe from the moment I walked in until I left. Also- with covid I know people have lost their insurance and they are offering this really cool program where you pay 300 and you are covered for a whole year. It includes 2 regulate dental checkups (with cleaning, exam, necessary xrays, and evaluation. It also includes 1 emergency exam, a CBCT a an, and 15% off dental treatments. The fact that they offer this for their patients who have lost insurance is amazing and I cannot thank her enough for it.

Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist.
