It was clear they were running badly behind, and from the amount of people waiting, it was clear it's wasn't just one doctor running late. At 4:30, I asked the check-in desk how it was looking. There were 3 people ahead of us and they just took in the 3:15 appointment. It could be 30 minutes, it could be 45 minutes. "Depends if the people ahead of you have a lot of questions or need an X-ray." Um, are you hoping for people who ask no questions about their own medical condition? No explanation of how they were going to see us well after their closing time. No "sorry," which I guess would've been hypocritical anyway. By that point, I had checked Yelp and found it was par for the course, and sure enough, it was just another day of grossly overbooking the place at the expense of patients' time. We canceled soon after and left without being seen for a painful injury. Wish I could send them a bill for our time.

Wow, that was easy, and what a relief! The only fly in the ointment was that the hilariously short physical exam, and total interaction gave me a very bad feeling... and my symptoms were totally inconsistent with tendonitis. So I sought a second opinion. The second Dr. did a much longer, thorough physical exam, and explained that he thought it was a torn labrum, but that it should be definitively confirmed with an MRI. An MRI definitively confirmed that I had a torn labrum, a completely unrelated condition to tendonitis, which is treated completely differently. Is Dr. Reynolds grossly incompetent, or simply criminally negligent? I can only speculate, but that question will be answered in a court of law. If you read this, I pray that you head this warning, and do not take chances with your most precious asset in life, your health, with Dr. Reynolds.

I had an x-ray taken about 6 months before that showed my cartilage was very thin in the area. I had a steroid shot that helped for several weeks by his colleague. My pain had gotten really bad radiating to my knee and down from my hip. Dr. Christophersen said that pain in my knee and down wasn't associated with the hip which isn't true. He wanted me to get another opinion and I would have to go over the hill to the San Jose area to a doctor, I was already in so much pain, He didn't seem to care. His colleague thankfully gave me the name of an orthopedic surgeon from Golden State Medical Group in Capitola. Each time you see a doctor it takes a month to get an appointment, This Dr. took an x'ray. In a month he scheduled me for hip replacement surgery. He also did the anterior approach with is a much quicker recovery than the posterior approach which Dr. Christoffersen performs. Its been four months and I am back at Zumba with little pain. I am thankful to have been sent to this doctor by his colleague. I really felt like Dr. Christophersen had no sympathy for my pain. He could have taken another x-ray and seen it was deteriorating. If you are having hip surgery go to Golden State. I was able to cross over from Palo Alto Medical foundation, thankfully!

The orthopedic that I saw at that time did not suggest an MRI or physical therapy. He basically said that the cysts were too small for draining or surgery. Also, didn't seem to care about the pain I was experiencing or the way the cysts were affecting my walk. The pain increased as did the size of the cysts, so, in 2023, I found Dr. Liu. What a difference! Dr. Liu, listened carefully to me. As a senior I was grateful to be treated with such respect and to find someone who cares about getting to the bottom of the reason for pain. He then ordered an MRI, which ruled out a torn meniscus and I am now in physical therapy. I have high hopes that this will correct the problem. I highly recommend Dr. Liu.
