They also went above and beyond helping us navigate those logistics you never think about until your first parent dies (e.g., traveling through TSA with an urn, dealing with Social Security, etc.). They even drove down to the Department of Health office the morning we had to fly back to the Northeast to retrieve our father's death certificate copies, so we wouldn't have to deal with the month-plus mailing backlog. We made an appointment to speak with the representative named Jacqueline Schuller. We spoke with her and she laid out what would be required. My wife and I had a choice of a funeral here in Florida or having the funeral by north and Jacqueline laid out the costs for both. We opted for going back north. She gave us all the information we needed to make an intelligent choice; what was best with us personally considering all aspects of what would be entailed. After some delays which were cause by family circumstances, (she kept in touch throughout the delays) we were able to meet with Jackie and complete the agreement. Jackie laid out all the prices, what we would be included in our costs. There was no pressure, no incidents of trying to sell us more than we wanted. She listened to our wants and needs and presented us with just what we wanted. Jackie is a perfect person for her position. She is professional, and knowledgeable about everything involved with the pre-planning, giving us pointers on what we should be looking for and what we did and didn't need based on our discussions. She is also very personable and made us feel completely comfortable. She made the "purchase" easy and something that made an unavoidable discussion a lot easier to take. I can truly say that I would refer Beth Israel Memorial Chapel to anyone who is looking for this service and would recommend Jackie Schuller to anyone who asked.

Miina was a life saver. She worked with the VA and I did not have to do anything. This was…read moreimportant because I had gotten sick and could not think due to the overwhelming grief. Miina walked me through everything and made this very difficult time more tolerable. I am so grateful for how nice, patient, empathetic, and caring Miina was with me and my needs. Miina arranged the priest for the service as well. At a time when I could not tolerate decisions or problem-solving, Miina stepped up and made sure to help me make my husband a nice service, memorial and military honors and burial. I would have been lost. All County is a very busy funeral home. Yet, Miina explained things like time-sensitive forms for death certificate and the importance of checking that the information I put on this form is correct or it will lead to long delays to have the death certificate corrected. She checked with me two times before she submitted the form I was responsible to fill out for the death certificate both by email and the phone so I understood the significance of checking every letter and number. I appreciated that she checked two times, knowing I was struggling to pay attention. This is a form filled out not by staff, but by me - the person burying the loved one. She made sure I understood that how I fill out this form is how it goes to relevant agencies. Miina always responded within the same day to emails or calls and she always let me know if she would not be available on certain days. At the end of the day, funeral services are a busy non-stop business. I always felt taken care of by Miina. Of course, I also did not expect things to be done for free - I requested services and expected to get the chosen services for stated fees which are provided to us. I see reviews of people being angry because they expected a business to provide a service for free or angry because the person filled out that death certificate data form wrong, so they blamed the staff when the staff does not fill out that form for the death certificate - the family member is responsible for that form. I get it. It is a hard time, things are hard to process, and it is really hard to pay attention. I also get that I am not the only person to which they are providing services. In addition, there are other agencies the funeral home has to work with and has absolutely, no power over how and when those agencies get things completed. Yet, with all the complications of working with multiple outside agencies to complete everything so we can get to the service - I felt looked after by kind, caring, and empathetic staff - always! I found Miina and All County to be honest, informative, helpful, up-front and really caring and compassionate. I found Miina to be thoughtful and conscientious in her efforts to make things easier for me. She was a helpful guide and I am so very grateful for her going above and beyond in ensuring the things I asked for were completed even when I was not capable of following through or following up. I recommend Miina and All County because they showed up for me! I do point out that the individual also has to manage expectations - in other words, unrealistic expectations always lead to disappointment. I was not disappointed in any way whatsoever. I expected to buy the services I requested for the prices printed. I was pleasantly surprised by a staff that goes above and beyond - they truly care and are sincere in their desire to do the best they can. Thank you Miina and thank you All County!

Any time you need a funeral home, you're not having a good day. My mother passed away last month in…read moreLas Vegas, Nevada. She had pre-arranged to be cremated with The Neptune Society. My mother's remains were sent to me via USPS and the wooden box was chipped and split, damaged in transit due to poor packing by The Neptune Society. I was sent a new brass replacement urn. I called Lorne and Sons for several reasons. First they were local to me and secondly, they are family owned and operated with a LONG history in Delray Beach. I spoke with Michael and told him about my dilemma, that I needed my mother's ashes transferred from the damaged box to the new brass urn. He was very sympathetic to my plight and told me they would take care of the transfer as soon as I received the new urn. I called back the next day and spoke with Michael again. He told me his brother Patrick would be available to help me within the hour. When I called to speak with Patrick, I was pleasantly surprised to find that he was expecting my call and he was fully aware of my situation and that he was able to meet with us right away. Patrick transferred my mother's ashes to the new urn while we waited. I wanted some Holy cards and he assisted me in picking them out and printed them right away. Patrick also did something else for me that I wasn't expecting. He helped me understand what I was feeling. Because my mom did not want any kind of services after her death I was struggling with the grief process. I didn't have a normal experience with having a funeral for closure. He assured me that with my circumstances what I was feeling, or not feeling was pretty normal. He went above and beyond that day. He helped me and I really appreciate it. The kindness and compassion I received from these two brothers helped me so much during one of my most difficult times. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

We were shown a lot to choose from and were given a lot of good advice and helpful information. Dying isn't cheap, but I'm glad we were able to make arrangements that were comfortable for us and should be for our family.

I hate being in these chapels to begin with so that's not something I pride myself in. If they do their job correctly, everyone would feel welcome. There is a book you can sign in when you come into the chapel, but I had to look for it.
