I don't get why this place has so many 5 star reviews. My boyfriend and I moved to the area and he needed to find a new barber, so he tried this place out of convenience. He's a simple guy - he doesn't ask for anything fancy (no fades or trendy hair, etc) and gets the same haircut every time he goes to a barber once every few months. Twice he's gone there for a basic haircut, and twice I've had to help him fix it when he got home. The first time the problem was that his sideburns were clearly uneven, but he gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second time he ended up with the same person cutting his hair, who still gave him uneven sideburns. This time she was also sick and sneezing the whole time, and also left a random section of his hair on top longer than the rest of his hair. I tried to fix it when he got home, but I'm no barber. Overall the price was too high for the quality of service for a basic men's haircut, and it wasn't evenly cut. Despite it being quick service, he will not be returning again. read more

Went for the first time last week. Honestly the best experience I've had at a barber shop. Old school and professional in a good way. I had a haircut and a straight razor shave (first time ever, which was awesome). Cannot say enough good things about this place. I see why it's so popular. I'll definitely return. read more

By far the best barbershop I have been to since I was in the military and that was a lifetime ago! Aldo and his pops Joe are the best. Just a super friendly place with good people. They still clean you up with the straight razor...trust me as much as I travel that is a lost art. It's all about the details. read more

Great price and great service!!! I got there, was in a chair right away. A barber/stylist named Kathy cut my hair. I gave her a quick idea of what I wanted, she gave me a recommendation and I agreed. I got exactly the haircut I wanted!!! We talked while she was cutting my hair, and it was over before I knew it. I was almost sad, because I enjoyed the barber shop so much. One of those barber shops who takes their art and skill seriously. Saturday morning was totally crowded given the fact that they are one of the best. They do not work on appoinments and take only walk-ins. Finally I walked in on a saturday afternoon and got seated immediately. Aldo did an amazing job with my hair cut. With minimal instructions he worked on his craft so focused and it turned out to be a great hair cut. Hair cut costs 18$ but it is worth it as you get what you want. The best in the area .Well worth the wait. I've been coming here for 20 plus years . Joe is the guy for short flat top type hair cuts . This 4 chair shop is a busy little spot. It's worth waiting for Joe if u need a buzz cut. But the other barbers from what I see do a great job. Never had anyone cut my hair in last 20 years. Hate to think about what to do when he retires. The place was packed on a weekday (albeit a pre-holiday Friday), which was a good sign. Despite the crowd, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with one of the better cuts I've received, including a masterful straight razor shave. Everyone was friendly and the customers all seemed like regulars. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been looking for a new barber shop for a while, and the hunt appears to be over. Stopped in on a Saturday, but only waited a few minutes (4 barbers). Lisa cut my hair and I would have to say one of the best haircuts I have had in a while! They charge 2 or 3 dollars more than your average barbershop, but in all honesty - well worth it! read more
