I was very happy when I called to make an appointment and the woman on the front desk was kind, helpful and understandable. when I arrived the salon was clean, empty (but it was a Monday) and I liked the atmosphere, the light jazz was a good touch. I put up no argument and gladly opted for the most expensive spa pedicure. The tech nicked the top of my right toe (sensitive skin) with a nail file. luckily it didn't bleed but as the pedicure went on she sprayed my toes with pure alcohol several times and wow that burned. as an industry professional she should have been using something like sea breeze (it would have been ok only to wipe the nail with alcohol not spray it over the tops of the feet. it progressed when (and this happens almost everywhere) she violently exfoliated my legs with scrub. I'm not here to solicit free advice but scrub does the work on its own, a gentle touch is all you need. I don't want to have my skin scrubbed off: again. ow! The massage was hurried, and missed the key sensory points -- all I can say is there shouldn't be any rushed or hurried movements in the spa industry, to be blunt the massage just didn't feel good, it also lacked pressure. I skipped my manicure all together, but the tech redeemed herself on the back massage as I was drying which delivered the pressure and key tension spots but overall I don't know if I would go back. Still on the hunt for the best spot.

Everyone was very sweet. Something to note though, theres currently only 3 people working; as they just re-opened. Walk-ins may be a little hard to do, so I suggest making an appointment like my mom and I did. While getting my nails done, there's a couple things I want to note so I made a list. - Before they were ready for us, they sat us down and asked if we wanted some water. I have never been asked if I wanted water. It was very sweet of them to ask while we were waiting. - I was nicked with the drill. She immediately asked if I was okay and apologized. I don't see this as a big deal but if this is something that is to you, just be aware. I was also shaking my leg so it may also just be on me. - While painting the stars on my nails, she really took the time to make them as good as she could. She restarted if she thought it didn't look right. I appreciate the effort and time she took to make sure my nails came out as good as she could make them. - I read about free shoulder massages in the reviews and I thought there was no way they did that, but while my hands were drying for the final time, she came around and did my shoulders. It was a solid one too, she really put effort into that aswell. - After my hands were dried, she put on oil and lotion and i also got a little hand massage too. Nice little surprise, definitely wasn't expecting a hand massage as well as a shoulder massage. I will note there were other people while my mom and I were there and the two ladies bounced between people, making sure everyone is getting tended to, they definitely work hard. If you like having the same person throughout the appointment, I would wait until they hire more people to go. I myself don't see this as a problem. I'll definitely be returning, my mom and I found our favorite nail place. Definitely would recommend.

They always have something on the flatscreen TV but it is quiet enough to have a conversation. I typically get a gel manicure and sometimes get a pedicure or other services. Never had a bad service after years of going there. I would drive a distance to go there and sometimes have! Highly recommend.
