I saw Dr. Werber twice - and he did not see anything - and dismissed my pain as Psychological. Last visit his prognosis was to get a Job, Hobby, or Psychotherapy. It would have been more appropriate to suggest a Neurologist or Dentist as another much nicer ENT has done. I have TMJ. Thank you to the considerate ENTs I visited for their advice. My wife and myself are both patients of dr. Werber so when my son was having constant phlegm and allergist wasnt able to get it under control we took him dr. Werber he said he had a deep sinus infection and placed him on an antibiotic which helped but didnt cure it so he sent him for a scan of his sinuses which showed an infection and a bad deviated septum which was the reason for the constqnt infections. Dr werber performed surgery on the septum and he has not had another infection in the few months since the procedure and he said he also breathes alot better. Dr. Werber presented as very professional and extremely well versed in the treatment and causes of sleep apnea. I was very hesitant at first to try the CPAP machine, but once I got over the steep acclimation curve, it has become a life changing therapy. I no longer has bouts of daytime sleepiness and have a significantly more amount of energy. Coffee id now something I like to drink, not need to drink. My wife also had to get used to the machine, but in a different, much more positive way; after hearing me snore loudly with many periods of apnea during the night, she is now adjusting to not being woken up several times a night. I went to see Dr. Werber To discuss my sleep apnea and possibly using the inspire implant. After speaking to Dr. Weber for a good amount of time he explained to me that I had a deviated septum and slightly enlarged tonsils and he also explained to me that if he removed my tonsils and fixed my deviated septum that there was a good chance that I would no longer experience sleep apnea. At the age of 64 most people would say I don't want to do the surgery I would just rather get the implant but I was so convinced by this man and his experience that I decided to get my tonsils removed and have my deviated septum fixed. Needless to say after a short recovery period in which I experienced minimal pain I no longer have my tonsils I can breathe beautifully through both of my nostrils and I no longer have sleep apnea. Dr. Werber is phenomenal! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all questions. The office is very nice, very clean and comfortable. The administrative staff is very professional and extremely friendly. I was in a bad car accident and hit my nose on the steering wheel. I significantly deviated my septum. I have never had the ability to breath through my nose & never thought it was a big deal. At 35 years old my wife asked me to look into seeing a Dr & she found Dr.Werber. I was skeptical to say the least but went through with the procedure of fixing my deviated septum among a few other things. The first week was horrible but then I was able to smell a little bit more every day! It was a all new sensation to me. I returned after the surgery to remove packing & when he removed it my nose opened up & I could smell! I teared up as it never happened before. I went home & found as the days passed that I could breath through my nose 100% at all times, food had taste now (both good & bad), I was able to smell someone opening a jar of ketchup from 8 feet away without seeing it, my first rain fall was absolutely breathtaking to breath solely through my nose for the first time ever, I could finally smell my new born sons diapers...well cant win them all lol.
