Dr Yewande Olasimbo has a very attentive bedside manner and is very personable. She also goes by Dr Wendy for short. Yesterday I came in for my annual wellness blood work. I am also on Medicaire which does not pay for any Preventative lab work. Dr Wendy went above and beyond to find which lab work that Medicaire will cover without a cost to me. I mean she researched my prior lab chart, made phone calls to the head medical provider to make sure there would be no cost to me. Now last year I saw a different Physician for the same annual wellness lab work. I also told that physician I had Medicaire; in which she told me all would be covered. To my surprise Medicaire did not cover any cost; inwhich I was billed $893 that I had to pay out of pocket. I was sooo upset! Dr Yewende Olasimbo gave me the confidence and reassurance that she is not just about her job, but has a genuine interest in her patients (which I find rare in most Dr's I have encountered.
