Solid Freaking Pizza! First time in a long time for Josh's and we did NOT have disappoint. Went for an old standby- a large cheese pizza. And some additional garlic knots. The pizza, really good initially and as leftover. Doughy crust with crisp. Didn't cause a lot of chew. The pizza was sliced into well proportion. Cheese to sauce ratio was well done. Saucy was tomato - no acid, no sweet, easy tomato. Not too oily overall. The garlic knots were a delight! This thing could feed the family itself, lolol. (We actually ate them for 3 days.) Garlic, butter, oily and puffy! Super Yum! A terrible, delicious carb feast. We will certainly have Josh's again. Easy, good pizza!!! read more

Probably one of the worst pizza shops I ever visited. There was no heat, no plants, no furnishings, no wall decor, all they had was a TV. They didn't have any water or anything to drink, all they had was soda, and believe me I'm not a picky person but come on now. Plus, when my cheesesteak was ready, I noticed the chef DOUSED the cheesesteak in marinara sauce like there was no tomorrow! Newsflash guy, not everyone likes that much sauce on their cheesesteak. The cheesesteaks weren't filled abundantly; they were on the skimpy side. You can get a cheesesteak anywhere and anywhere would have a better one than here. My partner wasn't happy with his Italian Stromboli either as it was heavy on ham, short on pepperoni and the other meat. He said it was mostly dough. The stuffed sandwich was huge, however, so definitely order one of those if you're hungry. read more

I've never eaten in but we have enjoyed take out on Stromboli night more than a few times. Highly recommend taking advantage of their specials if you don't enjoy overpaying. We had a cheesesteak Stromboli that was generously filled w cheesesteak meat and savory cheese. We get sauce on the side that is rich and chunky. I would love to try some more offerings. Ordered once, and will not be doing it again. Sauce was not bad, but it tasted like canned Don Pepe's from the grocery store. The crust was doughy, not bad but mediocre at best, you can say that about the whole pizza... Too many other options that are far superior to come here again. read more

Just want the area to know, food is cold upon delivery and also usually the wrong order. I had the opportunity to get 50% off my " last " order that would ever be delivered to my home. Apparently the whole 5 miles from there shop is way to far to deliver fresh hot food that I over paid for. With this all being said i have been getting food from this " guy" for years. I will say just because I got my discount and this will be the last time they ever deliver to my home I would never ever recommend this shit hole to anyone ever!!! Sorry if you eat this poison. We have tried a few pizza places in Boyertown/Gilbertsville and have not gone anywhere else since landing on Josh's. We usually get a cheese pizza, but have also tried his Calzones, sandwiches, and wings. Great food, good prices, and right next to Boyertown Beverage. Tried it out for the first time about 8 months ago because of the great deals. Had it delivered. Food was decent. The next couple times I went to pick up and the place was filthy. I especially noticed it when I went while it was still light out. I'm scared to know what the place looks like behind the scenes. Besides the cleanliness I still ordered there one more time because food was decent and so were prices. This pizza place is sucks. The restaurant itself looks sketchy as do the employees. We ordered a pizza and were told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour. We waited two hours before the driver called and asked where we lived after he saw me standing in my driveway. When we opened the pizza, it had cooled down so much that you could no longer see where they had cut the pizza. We will no longer order from this pizza place. This is my favorite pizza joint to order from. Their prices are good and the food even better. I am a huge pizza fan and absolutely love Josh's pizza. My 9 year old son raves about their pizza as well. My boyfriend love's their cheese steaks. I had an issue with my order on one occasion and the owner, Josh, went out of his way to reach out to me about my unhappiness. That shows commitment and that he cares about his customer's happiness. I have not had any issues prior to that incident nor have their been any issues since. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Would not order from anywhere else. read more

I order there for the first time and enjoyed the food. I placed the order on line and they called me to make sure of how I wanted the pizza because they use a third party for online orders. Very friendly on the phone and in the restaurant. Although I was originally looking for a pizza place that delivered ( I live in Gilbertsville so I am outside their delivery area) I didn't mind getting it because I was impressed with the quality . Everyone in my household also enjoyed the food. I will definitely go back . It is important to me to support local small businesses rather than a large chain. read more

We use to frequent this pizza place quite often due to the deals they have but have decided that we will no longer be going there due to the cleanliness. The appearance of this place was never great but it seems to have gone down hill very much. The employees we see smoking outside all the time and their appearance does not look very clean. I've ordered the chicken Caesar salad from Josh's 4 separate times, and each time it has been different. Sometimes the chicken is crispy, sometimes it's grilled. Sometimes the Caesar dressing is oil based sometimes it's creamy. Sometimes there are tomatoes on my salad, sometimes there are not. Also, my salad always takes 20 minutes to make (Really? It's a salad). While the salad is usually decent, the two stars are for the ambiance. It's always dark and the staff are never very pleasant when you go in to pick up your order. I had an encounter with one of their delivery guys when he was delivering to an employee who works at the company a floor above me. He asked me to take him to the person who ordered. When I responded that I didn't know that person, let me call upstairs to find out. He replied with "I don't got all day. Point me in the direction I'll find her myself". How rude. I was taking time out of my day to help him do his job. I didn't need to call upstairs at all. Some of my coworkers and I have been boycotting them ever since. My advice for Josh's: turn on some lights, get a dependable menu, and put a smile on your face if you want to stay in business! read more

Food was ok but the guy working tonight was a jerk. I told him we drove there from Phoenixville to try the pizza because a friend of ours said it was good and we don't have great options near us. He didn't really attempt to respond or engage in conversation which was fine. His response was "don't mind my facial expressions I'm just ugly". I just laughed it off and sat down. After my family was done eating I said thank you to him. He looked at me with a blank stare and then looked away with no response. Won't be going back. Not worth a half hour drive each way. Half decent pizza but the service is quite iffy. Called today for a pie and was told it'd be 45-50 minutes. OK, not exactly the turnaround time I was looking for but I could deal with it. Got there about an hour later and am told it's going to be another 20-25 minutes. Huh? You wasted my time and gas to get there when you could have given me the choice when I called in the order? There were lots of other very grumpy looking people sitting around waiting for their orders too. Great a local business is so busy but it won't be for long with that kind of customer service.
