Picked up a #tgtg surprise box today! A heavy box with 10 different tasty desserts! Love them all! Had their #cupcakes before but this is amazing! Totally worth the experience.

Cake

The cake was beautiful and delicious. It was layers of chocolate and vanilla with an oreo filling.

This traffic cone is made of layers of chocolate cake and frosting.

The best thing to happen to Wilmington EVER. Everything I've tried here has been to die for. Cookies. Muffins. Yummy. As if that weren't enough, their cakes are works of art. My best friend came here to get me a birthday cake. But not any old cake. Nope. She asked them to make a cake resembling an icon of autocross (an amateur Motorsport where you drive your car around traffic cones as quickly as possible without hitting the cones, usually done in a parking lot). That icon is the screaming/surprised cone. Only this one was made of multiple layers of chocolate cake with creamy chocolate icing (not the lard variety). Yummy.

They did an amazing job for my sister's baby shower. They were very quick to respond to my email and really outdid themselves with matching our theme of a fiesta party. They made cupcakes decorated with "nachos and cheese", "guac", and "tacos" and everyone at the party were very impressed!

We got an 8 inch cannoli cake and looked great however had absolutely no flavor, the frosting was hard and crumbled off like dry wall #yikes

Lemon bar. Where did the corner go and what's with all the cracks?

Stopped today around 10:30 to get cinnamon rolls and some other treats. Tried to ask the 2 young ladies behind the counter for suggestion "something chocolaty" and they threw a chocolate pizzelle in a bag and went back to gossiping. I was thinking brownie or something like that but ok, I don't want to interrupt. The cinnamon rolls were ok... raw in the middle and seemingly small, but the cooked parts were tasty. The lemon bar was dry and seemed like yesterdays baking afterthoughts. The pecan bar was good... drizzled with chocolate. The cinnamon rolls were reviewed on Phantom Gourmet. I expected better.

Josie's made the cake for our daughters christening. Not only was it beautiful it was absolutely delicious. We opted for a funfetti cake with strawberry butter cream in the middle. All of our guests loved it too. Thanks, Josies!

No Stinky and Dirty Theme, No birthday writing, no fondant, I supplied figurines.

After reaching out to the bakery with an absence of response, I'd figured I should write a review instead. The cake was nothing that I had asked for, down to the look, theme, writing, and material. The cake looked like an exact replica of a previous cake which I stated was not what I wanted. The cost of $167 to receive nothing close to my order is just really disappointing. I also supplied the figurines, leaving the cake to look like two frosted cakes stacked. I just had to let others know after no response from Josies how awful the cake did not meet my expectations and the disappointment of an $167 cost. The customer service in ordering the cake was also atrocious, as I waited an hour, as customers were coming in and I was consistently left for them to be serviced. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

So I get a large Chip's Tip sub and a few pastries for snacks. The bill was steep for what I got but I thought it would be worth it for my son to try the sub. After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths. I know a lot of people will swear by their steak tip subs and that is great but it's just not for me anymore.

I mention every visit that they should put a name tag in front of each muffin to speed up the ordering... I must waste my time and more importantly their time answering my inquires... what is that one , what is that muffin ? Does that have raisins on it ? Nuts? Dog shit in it? or whatever ? Wtf Or why are out of certain muffins ? Any In the back on racks? Put a sign up displaying a simple check mark of available muffins? One visit the nasty one at Winchester told me they were out yet I saw the muffin on a rack not yet ready to put out front? So this was my first visit to this Wakefield location ... same issues and staff nasty here too but a bit better as more mature employee? I ordered 6 muffins and wanted 2 in a separate box as a gift to someone and the other 4 in a different box...she puts the two in a bag... A bag ruins the gift look, damages frosting in muffins... they will not put any less than muffins in a box? I'll pay for the dam extra box? Or maybe a smart owner would have a small 2 muffin box? Asked for Boston cream ... out of them .. same as last visit to Winchester location where they were out of many options... Maybe if popular statistically ... then you bake more of them based on POS sales data ? Maybe seasonality affects the daily production forecasts? Maybe offer July 4th red white blue muffins, Halloween frosting, Thanksgiving? Christmas ? Then generate greater sales, The owner should hire a better manager of both locations and stick a dam name tag in display case for each muffin, train all employees in hospitality and importance to retain repeat customers? Owner probably now just mailing it in or letting the off spring to take or already took over ? Maybe sell just sell it off to a interested owner looking to expand, or Improve offerings , add high end croissants, pastries, quality cookies ... coffee and better options? Whatever... 4 years telling every visit to just put a f'n name tag in front of each muffin-so I don't need to ask.. especially for gluten free, nut free allergies conscience people... how about an ingredients sign for each muffin ? I give up

Good muffins whose calling card for most is a layer of cream filling sandwiched in. -- Blueberry Muffin: Great crispness on the majestic overhang expansive enough to provide shelter from the rain. Nice subtle flavor that doesn't try to trick you with sugar, but it's lacking fat to make it sufficiently moist. Fruit seems frozen. No spheres with burst of juiciness. -- Gingerbread Muffin: More of a pumpkin spice flavor than full gingerbread. Similar characteristics in being a little dry, not being too sweet and having good crunch. The cream layer is a buttercream similar to white cake frosting, with maybe a hint of cream cheese. Good muffins worthy of the rotation, but I'd hesitate to say great. Beautiful to look at, though. Kudos to the team for moving the line efficiently.
