Do not hire Nick from Titletown Tile. He did not finish the job I hired and paid him for. I had…read morean easy ceramic flooring repair job (re-install around 15 tiles, that I had already taken up, and grout) He was extremely unreliable on scheduling as he would just show up without first confirming if we were home. This was after I mentioned to him several times to let me know what he was coming over. He did not provide us this courtesy even one time. He only spent around 20 minutes at our house at a time before he had to leave for his next job, which was at my neighbors house. I found out my neighbor had fired him from their job as he would not show up when he said he would as well as theft from their house, which Nick explained was one of his crew. Now I completely understand my neighbors frustration. The last time he cam over, he ran out of grout so he said he would be back to finish up after he got the remaining supplies. I texted him a week later to see when he was coming over to finish the job and he was not aware what needed to be done. I had to remind him he needed to finish the grout. Fast forward 2 months and weekly texts from me on coming over to finish the job, all the time he is either provided excuses or not getting back to me at all Just received what I believe to be his last messages to me which was "will you quit already and "eat s**t". Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and he will have no future jobs in my neighborhood. I will make sure of that.

Wanted to remodel a shower for a 12 year old struggling with cancer that we are caring for. Called…read moreNick and he was very excited and helpful in helping us with our project. Came over and met with us several times and was very helpful in guiding us in our material purchases for the shower. Came over with supplies and tools and signed a contract with him. He said he would have shower done in a week but we were not holding him to that time line. Demo seemed fine other than they are very messy workers. Starting building walls, did some plumbing, electrical and put up cement board for shower. Nick came over and poured the floor pan for the shower. Nothing looked great but we were not sure. Then they just stopped the project. Second week just promises to be over and no show. Nick comes and says he is cleaning out the garage so we can use it again. He takes every tool and supply with him but he assures us that he is committed to the project. Third week just more empty promises that he would be over but never showed. We finally find a new contractor and our worst nightmares come true. Most of everything Title Town Tile did was very poor and had to be redone. Even hacked up our new ceiling fan so that it is not useable or returnable. Tried to reengineer it or something. Walls were not square, floor pan done wrong with drain in the wrong spot. It probably would not have drained. Electrical work not done to code. Framed walls were not even secured to the floor. So far we haven't found any problems with the plumbing they did. What a nightmare! We put off this project for three years for this very reason, worrying if you can find a quality contractor that won't take advantage of you. Would much rather be writing a stellar review of our new shower but this is what Title Town Tile left us. Want others to know so they don't get burned by them like we were. Just trying to do something special for a special young man and this is what we got. Would have been willing to work with Nick but he just stops responding. Our new contractor has redone everything and it looks so much better. Cannot wait to see what the shower will be like when he is done. Beware of using Title Town Tile. Subpar work and things not done properly or to code. With the way the screwed up our little shower I really can't imagine they know what they are doing.

L.P. was highly recommended to us. That was a mistake. After…read moremany delays and finally a switch in product our vinyl plank floor was installed; all the time holding our 50 percent down payment. The installation occurred without a hitch and professionally, but it took two more visits to complete the project. Though our salesperson said it wasn't needed, additional underlayment was installed in one room. Fine, so far. The problem came with the billing. Earlier, when our product was changed, we established a new final cost with our salesperson. But when the bill was received, it was $609 more that the pre-agreed final cost. The invoice noted the additional underlayment in the one room and additional prep work. However, there wasn't any additional prep work required as the one room was cleaned down to the subfloor like all others; a step necessary to apply the product even without underlayment as we were told. We contacted L.P. by letter stating our concern and included extra payment for the underlayment. We pointed out that the existing contract covered all prep work yet they were charging us for more. Nevertheless, this letter and documents of proof were ignored. Instead, we received yet another bill without any response to our concerns. Ultimately, we paid L.P. in full on their terms but not with once again stating our concerns. That inquiry was ignored too. They cashed the check.

Marissa was very helpful the multiple times we met with her and talked us through all of our options and help explained the implications of each decision we were making. She also was very helpful with design ideas and guiding us to choose things that would work together. She didn't make us feel rushed and she and the team did a great job installing all the carpet. Marissa was very responsive and answered any questions we had quickly and accurately. Marissa and the whole team at Maccos were great to work with throughout the building process and I would highly recommend them for any of your flooring needs.

Within a year of the second install, about 2 years for the first install, we had what we thought was excessive wearing. We had the carpet cleaned again, the cleaning company could not belive how poorly the carpet was holding up. We called Macco and eventually had a virtual inspection of our carpet. We had a list of "test" stuff, paper, comb, light, that weshpuls have available. The remote person asked us to video stuff over the phone and decided that although th carpet looked terrible, it was not a warranty covered issue. Macco never called to talk about it even though the inspector did note installation issues. We have terrible carpet, only a few years old and are out $4,000. What a horrible experience. We will never recommend them, rather steer friends far away. No coverage, no follow-up, no customer service, no satisfaction in any way. So very disappointing, the worst ever.
