*The below review is my experience of Invisalign, True Dental Care and what worked best for me* With much of my face having to be covered by a mask and working from home, I decided to start my Invisalign journey in 2020 with True Dental Care. True Dental Care is a beautiful, new and vibrant dental surgery, with the loveliest staff and impeccable service. I've never been the biggest fan of going to the dentist (I have sensitive teeth, always saw the dentist as a chore and I was a little insecure of my smile due to my crooked bottom teeth); but after going to get a few fillings re-done and having my teeth cleaned I decided to ask about the various different options to straighten my teeth. Roll forward a few months (post peak of COVID) and I'm back in the chair (online health screenings, temp checks, everyone masked up, the smell of cleanliness etc.) speaking with Dr. Matt Penner about my options and getting my teeth scanned. I didn't really know what to expect, but that should never be a bother - every step along the way was explained, the finance options were made very simple (shocker, I know!) and the next step was to wait for my scans to come back, book an appointment to come back in, get these little buttons put on my teeth and collect my first 2 sets of trays. It was explained to me that I needed to wear the trays for c`22 hours a day, only drink clear liquids when I had them in (although a few rosés crept in), take them out when I eat etc. - the last thing I wanted was to wear the trays for less hours and the process time to increase, for my trays to become visible due to build up and for my teeth to get stained. For the first week this was tough, but then it became second nature and I lost a few pounds as added bonus as I wasn't snacking!!! I was expecting the trays to be painful - growing up my sister had braces and hers were always causing her pain, this was nothing like it. The best way to describe the feeling is just very tight for the first few hours of each new tray, not what I would describe as painful. The more you wear the less discomfort you feel. I was on calls all day wearing my trays and not one person guessed that I was wearing them - there were a few words I initially noticed I lisped with, but the more I got used to talking with them in the better it became. I did struggle a little with rubbing and mouth ulcers - I purchased some non-alcoholic CLEAR mouth wash and that got rid of the ulcers, and as for any areas that were rubbing... this may be a little strange, but I used a new nail file to file down any rough patches on the trays and it worked a treat. The first few weeks I was cleaning the trays with toothpaste, but I quickly learnt this was expensive and that the trays went a little dull. I did a little research and ended up cleaning my trays a natural soap (sounds gross, but I used a Method natural/clear and unscented soap). I put a small amount on a toothbrush and washed them that way - they felt so clean after, no dulling effect and no taste either. This wasn't suggested by True Dental Care, but worked perfectly for me. I went back to True Dental Care regularly to collect new trays, get updated scans, check-up on my progress, on occasion get new buttons added to my teeth and on one occasion to get a few teeth "shaved" (this may sounds horrendous, but for someone with mighty sensitive teeth I didn't feel it - its less than a millimeter that they shave and it helps all the teeth align properly). Each visit was quick, the appointments ran on time and all the staff were very friendly. The last appointment was to get final scans for my retainer which I will wear every night to help keep the teeth straight, remove the buttons, clean my teeth up and add a little bonding to chipped teeth. It has made such a difference to my confidence; I have been showing my new teeth off to everyone. The only down side of finishing the process is that I won't be going into the surgery so often to see the team!

Always excited to come see my favorite dentists. I have been patient of True Dental for the past 2.5 years. What an amazing experience. I come in to get my teeth straight ( pictures of before and after in my next review:)) The professionalism is incredible, highly qualified doctors and staff. Latest equipment. Very happy to be a part of their team , already referred many people.

I love this place. I never really thought about bringing my small kids to the dentist. But this place will make you change your mind. Dr Mila is lovely and professional. The staff is so warm and welcoming. I will only bring my kids here.

Dr. Mila and the entire staff are so amazing! Everything was smooth and friendly from the moment we made our appointment. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and the room was super clean and kid oriented. The hygienist did a great job showing my toddler all the tools and making the appointment fun. I cant believe she actually let her clean her teeth (18months old). Then Dr. Mila came in with the best vibe! She gave our daughter a thorough exam and treatment. For her first dentist appointment.. and being a super nervous mommy (I made dad come too), I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Dr. Mila and team!! we will be back soon.

After a recent experience at Dear Tooth Fairy, I would give this business zero stars if I could…read more Our family of four were patients for over 7 years and tolerated the unkind staff and booking difficulties over the years, but our last visit was the most disturbing experience I have ever had with a doctor or office and I would advise against anyone using their dental or orthodontics services, especially for children. My 7 year old child had an orthodontist visit with the orthodontist, Dr. Song, (who is completely ill-equipped to deal with children), to be fitted for his Invisalign. He did not have the correct size mouthpiece for my 7 year old child; they did not have the room set up for a child, but rather an adult, and instead of explaining what he would be doing before starting the procedure, he waited until after my son was inconsolable. The fitting was not completed during this visit. When I voiced my concern with the way the appointment was handled, along with disappointment at the inability for the staff to reschedule in a timely manner (our next appointment was scheduled for 6 weeks later, after already waiting weeks on the Invisalign molds) he was unable to provide answers and suggested that finding a new orthodontist was the best option. Keep in mind, Dear Tooth Fairy claims to work well with children with anxiety and take a "gentle" approach. Absolutely nothing about his approach was gentle; the television set was even set to a home building show for an adult, not a child. Dr. Song didn't know where any equipment was and didn't know how to change the channel. They spent 15 minutes trying to get the channel changed, after 10 minutes of trying to find the correct size mouth piece but then told me they didn't have time to complete the appointment. When we reached out to speak to Dr. Kim who has known my family, as mentioned, for 7 years, she refused to speak to us over the phone, and STILL has yet to. She unequivocally supported her other practitioner and offered a refund for all services with Dr. Song. Receiving that refund took weeks, even though it was a DIRECT payment to Dear Tooth Fairy; we are still awaiting the refund on our insurance portion. Bottom line, Dr. Kim has no backbone to speak with parents and no concern for human decency or respect, let alone speciality care for children. This is only magnified by the people she hires to work at the facility. Rosemary, who is expected to work the front desk, assist with x-rays, and procedures in the dental rooms is the most unkind person I have ever met in my life. She is rude over the phone and in person, and is not kind to children. Just one recent example, we arrived for an appointment at the end of October '25 that was scheduled for 2:00pm. We arrived at 1:50pm, as requested in all paperwork you receive prior to your appointment to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. At arrival, Rosemary was eating lunch at the desk, she did not say hello, but said "you need to come back at 2:00pm, I'm still on my lunch." I asked if we could wait inside since it was a particularly cold day and she said "no, come back at 2:00pm." Dr. Song arrived at 2:10pm back from his lunch break for our 2:00 p.m. scheduled appointment - ten minutes late. The lack of professionalism, care for patients - who are children, and overall nature of both the facility and the people that work there should be enough to close this place down for good. Please take this horrendous experience as a warning and find yourself a dentist anywhere else. Also note that Dr. Min Jin Kim and Dr. Richard Song offer their services at other facilities as well, so be sure to check that they are not your dentist at another location.

I don't leave bad reviews for anyone, I respect business, but I feel it's very important that all parents should be warned about this dentist's "policies" since l wasn't aware of them until they gave me and my son a very hard time. My son needed a filling, that's all I was told in his checkup, along with a quote for how much I'd have to pay after insurance. Fine, my husband takes a day off of work so that I can bring my son in for his filling. When I get to the office, I am charged before the appointment starts and then told that I cannot go in with my three year old son and be present during his appointment. This was the first time I was hearing it, and of course in the world that we live in, had no intent of just "trusting" these strangers with my son alone. So I tell them, no, unless I am able to go in, I am not letting them take him in alone. So, the assistant calls the dentist to come talk to me. Dentist Wilma McPherson comes out to tell me that it's her policy that minors must come in alone without their parents present for the appointment. I tell her that's not ok and she proceeds to tell her assistant to have me sign a form so that they can send my records to another dentist. My son was heart broken. He's three and loves going to the dentist and he himself was asking me why the dentist wouldn't let me come in. I honestly don't understand such a policy when you're dealing with minors. What do you do that a parent can't be present to witness? And if it's about Covid, it makes less sense since I was allowed to be present during my kids cleanings. You are ok with working face to face inside my kid's mouth but it's not ok for me to sit farther away with my mask on? Extremely disappointing. I told my friend that had been taking her child to this practice for years about this and she started taking her child to another practice now. This is so unprofessional and will only make you lose patients. All of your patients are minors, why insist on having them without the parent? My parents went to all of my dentist appointments as a child, I don't understand this "policy". I immediately called another dentist office to have my child get his filling and they had no unprofessional policies, I was able to sit and witness my kid's appointment no problem and had a great experience. Obviously never going back to JCPD and warning all of my friends about it.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!…read more Customer communication is a ROARing disaster! Utterly unprofessional and completely rude. It's like they're doing us a favor by sitting there. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall. A big zero! I called the day of the appointment to cancel. Right off the bat, I owned up to being late in canceling and said it's totally my fault to cancel at this hour. The rep told me there is a $50 same-day cancellation/rescheduling fee. Fine and totally understandable. Except..... I was never made aware of this earlier. Neither when I booked the appointment, nor when I confirmed it a week ago. Stuff happens and you do have to reschedule at times. It is not a matter of 50 bucks but rather, of principle. You cannot spring 'policy' on people at the last minute and be nonchalant about it. That's what ticked me off. When I informed the rep of this last minute 'policy' drop, she went into complete bizarre territory. She said that the office sends out emails with cancellation charges but they could not send it out to me because they did not have my email on file. Whose fault is that!? Should they not ask for a patient's email when they know that it's an important part of their communication process!? She then proceeded to say the dumbest stuff ever. She told me, when you come into the office, all the paperwork has the cancellation charges written on them so that patients do not miss it. Just think about it for a second..... if I'm NOT coming to your office, how in the world am I going to read the paperwork!? And even if I may have signed it a year ago, it was still A YEAR AGO! Should you not remind us of it or is it expected for patients to remember it like as if it's one of the Ten Commandments!? I told her what she was telling me was laughable and did not make any sense. She was not owning up to ANY lapse in communication on their part and blaming everything entirely on me. To which she said that I was speaking to her for the first time. Well that may absolutely be true because I definitely do not suffer fools. From then on, our communication kept going in circles. I asked to speak with the doctor directly but apparently she was busy with a patient. ROAR might as well replace the front desk staff with a tape. At least it would be more informative. So while it may be ROAR's policy to charge patients $50 for same day cancellations, guess what ROAR dental; it is MY policy to be informed of this at least 24 hours in advance.

FINAL PUBLIC SAFETY WARNING: Limitless Dental / Dr. Nick CiardielloDANGEROUS NEGLECT WARNING…read more Do not step foot into Limitless Dental or trust your life to Dr. Nick Ciardiello. As a 54-year-old liver transplant patient, I am severely immunosuppressed. Dr. Ciardiello extracted all of my teeth and surgically embedded two incomplete hardware implants in my jaw. However, the moment I raised completely valid concerns regarding the fit and quality of the temporary dentures he made, he completely abandoned my care mid-treatment. He retaliated against a vulnerable patient, leaving my mouth mutilated, exposed, and raw with absolutely zero follow-up plan.Because of his reckless, retaliatory abandonment, I am still left entirely without teeth, forced to live in excruciating, constant pain, and unable to eat solid food. His actions have put my life in immediate jeopardy, leaving me exposed to life-threatening systemic infections, rapid bone loss, and severe malnutrition. He is a general dentist--not a board-certified specialist--who attempted advanced surgical and prosthetic work he was entirely unqualified and incapable of properly finishing. To make this behavior even more unconscionable, the office held my money hostage, refusing to issue a refund unless I signed a non-disclosure release to buy my silence. I refused to let them cover this up. A formal complaint has been officially filed with the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. He took my money, shattered my health, left me deformed and in agony, and walked away because his ego couldn't handle a patient asking questions. Protect your life and your family: stay far away from this practice and see a legitimate, board-certified specialist.
