I love knowing that I can walk in and pretty much find something to pick up. Tonight I was excited to find Harley Quinn's sequined socks from Birds of Prey! I'm going to wear them when we go to the movie tomorrow. I also love that they have constant sales. My favorite nail polish is always Buy One Get One Free. Always. More importantly I always dig the sales associate. They are always welcoming and funny. They get excited about the things you are buying. They are always helpful. I went in about a year ago looking for some earrings with a specific backing for the posts. The sales associate looked everywhere with me. We ended up talking about the trials of cartilage piercings and what might help. So why not 5 stars? Well, as with everything in Gainesville, our Hot Topic is tiny. Like abysmally tiny. Ridiculously small. It gets stuffy and tight in there. The sales associates and the customers are climbing over each other to move around. Sometimes the store is a bit if a mess but I always see the associates trying to clean up and straighten up. I think it's a mess because they have so much and not nearly enough room to work in. Lastly, there isn't enough plus size clothing offerings. Hot Topic has a great selection online, but like everything in GNV, our store has very little to offer. It's like the clothing businesses got together and said, "we are a college town, our focus should be on tiny college girls only!" Hot Topic, with all of GNV's business growth, do you think you could get a bigger space and get more sizes? I love the store and I like that the staff gets me like so many other stores don't. So do us all a huge favor and expand a bit. Move into Butler or Celebration Pointe because the mall is getting janky and the store is too tiny. Please. Pretty please.

This is a great place for :cookbooks, cell phone accessories, gifts, speakers, headphones, toys, make-up, etc. All prices are marked, and they have lots of choices. It is agreat store to just come by and look through, because you will invariably see something and say, "This is cool; I can use that!" They also have hands-free deivices for $5 bucks! I bought one, and it is 5x better than the $20 one that I bought at Best Buy! That one mounted in the heater vent, and overheated my phone in the middle of an Uber ride! Not good!!! It mounts on the windoww, and iis working fine! Get you some!!

Maybe because we are not her targeted clientele, which seems to be sorority girls and upper society ladies from Haile Plantation Country Club. Price was decent - altering a dress shirt costs $25 each and turnover seems to be about 1 week. But we won't be coming back after picking up the shirts, even if her skills are excellent. I will take my business somewhere else where I am not treated with disdain.

I lived in Gainesville, FL at the time and began looking for my dress but to no avail. I visited: Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, but I could not find any dresses that were close to what I was looking for. Finally, a sales consultant informed me that my taste was a couple years ahead of the local trends and that I'd have to go to a major metropolitan area and pay an arm and a leg if I wanted to find what I was looking for. Frustrated and quite frankly, pretty bummed out, I thankfully remembered Jacquelyn Brooks Designs. I contacted her, sent photos and asked if she could design something similar for me. The dress was absolutely perfect, greatly exceeded my expectations and fit within my budget. Jacquelyn really saved the day and I really am thankful that she could work with me on such a special occasion. I have recommended her to many brides in the area and would recommend her to you, as well!

I wanted to cry because it was about $75-$80 worth of clothing and my energy drink cup. We drove home four hours and when we arrived home, I realized my bag was missing. I was very upset, but Chad said it's okay, we will just find the outfit again and I'll get you a new cup. Sunday I called and spoke with a young lady who said they had my bag behind the counter . She handed the phone to the manager Misty who thankfully, she said she'd send me all of my items, including my cup. I am so thankful to her for being a blessing and saving us from having to drive four hours again to Gainesville and four hours home. If you don't want help, tell them you're just looking and *don't* give them your size. If you give them your size, you may still get them handing you clothes, even if you told them not to. I wear an extra long, which is very hard to find and I am very, very picky when I go in there. I don't like all the fashionable jeans. I just want plain, normal, nothing fancy jeans, which is hard to find in this store to begin with, nevermind trying to find it in my size. The salespeople are very helpful and patient with me. It's a nightmare trying to find my jeans, but I don't know of any other place that sells jeans in my size, so I appreciate the salespeople being patient with me while I try to find the most plain, normal pants I can that are my size. The salespeople are very helpful, patient, and kind. I've never had much of a problem getting them to leave me alone when I don't want the help and they've always been excellent when I do need help. PS - The clothes are overpriced. No doubt about that at all. They sell sizes that others don't carry, though, so I'm stuck paying more, but it's been worth it so far for me.

Sara B totally rocked my appointment and had me feeling like a beautiful queen in the wedding dresses we picked out. I pulled a bunch, then she picked some more based on the ones I chose. I ended up loving dresses I didn't think I loved on the hanger and hated some dresses on my body even though they were gorgeous on the hanger. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that David's Bridal has revamped its sizing so that it runs more true to your street size. I am usually a size 18/20 and so were all of the dresses that fit me like a glove. Back in 2012 when I got my prom dress from DB, I had to size up 4 sizes to find a dress that fit me, which took a hit to my self-esteem. Sara was accommodating, so friendly, and super fun to work with. Seriously, we had the best time. She suggested the best accessories to really make the dresses I love really pop that much more (different veils, belts, etc.). She then helped my sisters try on some bridesmaid dresses even though we had originally only planned for the bridal appointment. Sara had so many great tips and suggestions, especially since she had tried on many of the same dresses so she knew what would look best on my body type. I can't say enough good things. I really enjoyed my bridal appointment here and am so glad that we finally have a store here in GNV so I don't have to drive elsewhere to search for dresses. We will 100% be back!!
