While Joury is a bit more expensive than their competitors, they do offer a superior product and the service is extremely engaging and friendly. Joury is located on Avalon Park Boulevard in the same shopping plaza as the Walmart Neighborhood Market. It is a smaller store, but the store is warm and inviting and they have a good selection of ice cream to select from. They do encourage you to try a few flavors and offer free samples. I tried the "Cookie Monster," the "Peanut Butter Cup" and "Garbage Can." I ended up selecting the "Garbage Can," which was vanilla ice cream with six or sevent different chocolate bars crumbled into it. This ice cream was simply fantastic and was definitely a higher quality ice cream. I will say that I truly thought this ice cream was pretty spectacular, a rich, indulgent treat. As an aside, I would definitely suggest you check in on Yelp. They offered a fifteen percent discount on my order simply for checking in. This is the kind of place that definitely adds to the neighborhood, a place that the community will embrace. Joury is definitely a positive addition to the community. I would definitely recommend a visit here. As I said, it is not a big place by any means, but their ice cream is kicking out some big flavors. This cute little ice cream shop recently opened in Avalon Park earlier this month, in the Walmart plaza. I checked them out today to try their specialty Bubble Waffle Cone and was so glad I did. You have the choice of getting a Bubble Waffle Cone with their specialty ice cream or you can create your own. We ordered the cheesecake one and loved it. They also offer ice cream cups, ice cream cones or regular waffle cones too. So whatever your preference, you'll find what you like here. The menu even offers crepes and smoothies. Next time I'd love to try a crepe or Piña Colada Smoothie. Everything sounded so good. The employees working were extremely courteous and really took pride in what they were doing.
