When we're in the Orlando area, my husband and I look forward to indulging ourselves at Twistee Treat. The iconic ice cream cone shaped building just draws us in every time! Twistee Treat features many hot weather (and year round) desserts. Shakes, sundaes, banana splits, and cold drinks are on the menu at Twistee Treat. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are generous. The rainy Sunday afternoon we stopped in, the young lady working appeared to be the only employee there. She was very cheerful and efficient as she waited on customers at the walk up window and the drive thru window. There are tables outside to enjoy your treats. If you want to 'grab and go,' you can order at the drive thru window.

Amazing options and customization available ! We went pretty late at night and the drive-thru was going crazy, so the service was a little slow considering, but the ladies working were really nice and helpful! The outdoor seating area is nice and convenient. There were groups of college students hanging out!

Twistee Treat on N Goldenrod Rd is great. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The ambiance is very relaxed and there was a nice breeze. The ice cream is so creamy and tasty at pretty good prices. They have a drive thru and it is very busy, but always moving.

Every time I see a Twistee Treat I have to stop and get a milkshake! Today I stopped and tried something new, I got a Pina Colada milkshake with coconut flakes and chunks of pineapple. It was delicious! My husband got a strawberry ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles. It was also very good! This ice cream place has a bunch of different options for ice creams, slushies and sundaes! This Twistee Treat has a drive-thru and outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back!

I always pass by the twisty treat and have never stopped. But today was SO HOT I thought why not? The rep at the window was super friendly and we had that cone in seconds. Apple Pay made it quick and easy as usual. I love how cute the building is lookin like a lil snack. We will be back. Perfect for after school!

Ice cream was fresh and amazing, was a bit busy when I went but service was good, and the ice cream shop is definitely worth going back to again from time to time. A lot of variety.

Been going here since I was a kid. This location specifically. Saturday night they were busy and there was a line for the drive-thru but it went pretty fast. Our order of 3 was correct. Great place to bring kids or anyone to be honest because who doesn't love ice cream.

It is always easy to find a Twistee Treat. If I were to describe it to someone, I would just tell them to look for the giant ice cream cone. Despite the unique architecture of their buildings, they also have pretty good ice cream, especially when looking at the price points. This particular Twistee Treat is located in the Belmont Plaza on Goldenrod Road. This Plaza has definitely seen better days. However, there was a decent line at the Twistee Treat and the line moved rather quickly. The ice cream, as I have said, is good. Probably my favorite flavor is the pistachio ice cream. I would definitely recommend is Twistee Treat or any Twistee Treat. I have never had a bad experience at the slew of Twistee Treats that I have been in. And if you are following your directions and don't see it right away, just look for the giant ice cream cone.

This location of twistee treat has a limited menu compared to other locations. It usually is not busy and there is plenty of parking available for those who choose not to eat outside. The store itself is clean and the area is safe, well-lit, and inviting. The piña colada freezer I got was not properly layered, but my date's milkshake was perfect. The workers were polite and the service was quick. I would return, although I'd probably opt for a milkshake instead.

Favorite soft serve spot ever! Wish these were all over the country! Have to stop every time we come back to Orlando to get our fix!

I love this place! They have so many different flavors and toppings to choose from. The prices are reasonable. There isn't anywhere to sit inside.

Before my Mom and I went, we checked the closing hours. According to our online search, the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We weren't far away and confirmed via GPS that we would get there by 9:03pm. As we were arriving, I noticed a worker had started removing the outdoor sidewalk sign back inside the restaurant. I asked the worker if they were closing and was told yes. The owner or manager, I would assume he was, stated we could come in. We drove around the building to a dark parking lot. Once we parked, the owner/manager, who was taking out the trash, questioned where I parked. I had parked behind, probably, his car which was closest to where we had to walk around to the front to enter the restaurant. I told him I quickly parked so we can get in and order. Once we entered the restaurant, we tried ordering. The owner/manager was very inpatient once he realized we were ordering food and not ice cream as he said he thought we wanted. I ordered a Chilli Cheese Dog (no bun). Mom got a Regular Hotdog (with condiments) and Plain Tater Tots. As we waited for our food, at least five people came in for ice cream. Our food was prepared in a reasonable time. We left approximately 9:23pm. Mom was satisfied with her food. My Chilli Cheese Dog was short on the Chilli. There was not a lot of Chilli on the hotdog. I don't plan on returning to this establishment.

A good hot dog makes for a great lunch for me, something just filling enough to fuel the rest of your day but doesn't overwhelm your hunger for a nice dinner. I was delighted to see a new company take over this land space and use it for more Chicago style hot dogs as well as ice cream. A good portion of the menu is carried over from their predecessor, but these are standard Chicago dogs (Chicago Style, Maxwell Street Polish, etc.). For my first visit, I wanted to try one of Ice Cream Station's unique offerings, so I went with the Southern Slaw Dog which consisted of a Vienna Beef dog covered with coleslaw, BBQ sauce, and a pickle spear. The flavors of the slaw and BBQ sauce complimented each other well, and the pickle spear just added to the feel of something you'd get at someone's backyard BBQ. My only complaint was that the brioche bun was a little stiff. I think I'll stick to the steamed poppy seed buns for future visits. There is plenty of parking, but the outdoor only seating might hinder the business during the hot Florida summer months. Hopefully, they will partner with delivery apps to accommodate customers. Speaking of future visits, I definitely plan on returning to check out their takes on the Maxwell Street Polish and Chicago Fire Dogs as well as their namesake ice cream. The service was great at my visit. While I don't doubt other Yelpers who had issues with their service, I do wish to emphasize that this is their first week open, and the company has been very open about them still working out the kinks, so I think it's a bit unfair to give low rankings to a small business still finding their way. I'm rooting for Ice Cream Station, and I sincerely believe they have the potential to fill the shoes that Chicago Dog & Co. left behind. Give this place a shot, Orlando and Altamonte Springs foodies.
