The location is in a quiet neighborhood in Thousand Oaks and love that they have clearly marked parking in front. They also have art shows where turn the place into a gallery where various class work can be viewed by public. Tom is very involved and he is good with kids. He is very relaxed and easy going. Their teaching technique is such that every painting a student does has only been touched by the student. The instructors show the technique on a small scale and the student applies it on a larger scale. At the end the painting is completed %100 by the student. They teach you how to use all mediums like watercolor, acrylics, oils, etc. They have many classes from beginners to advance. I took the Adult classes, which was only available on Monday mornings, but they might have additional classes now. Most of the afternoon classes are for kids. Seems like they are having a great time and gives them an avenue to express their artsy side.
