It's 6 months…read moreafter she BUTCHERED my cut and color, and I am still trying to get back to where I was before she messed up my hair. I asked Danette to simply refresh my partial highlights, root touch, and trim. I never asked to go darker or have her cover the previous years and thousands of dollars of highlights I have. Danette pulled out the brown color swatches and told me my natural color was more of a 6 Ash not a 6N, which was what my previous stylist had been doing for several years. She said it would it would not darken my hair but rather look more natural with to do 6 Ash for the brown. I took her advice since I thought she was a professional and knew better. I've gotten my hair done many times, and the stylist usually does the partial highlight and then the root color. I started to get nervous when Danette put brown dye on my entire head, root to tip, covering my highlights! I politely said, "I'm a bit nervous because I see you're coloring the brown down to my tips when I only wanted a root touch up and you're covering my highlights." She reassured me that she had been doing hair for 20+ years and this was her process and that she would "pop the highlights through after" and not to worry. I once again trusted the so-called professional, even though I now see I should've walked out then as my instincts were completely right - she was doing something wrong. The stylist who did my color correction said, "Danette should have her license revoked, and I do not say that lightly." Danette went rogue and did not provide the service I asked for. She also refused to refund so now I want to warn others. She wanted me to let her try and fix my hair but the problem was: 1) I left for a trip early the next morning and the point of getting my hair done was for this trip and, 2) I lost trust in her so I did not want her to touch my hair again.

My nails are not the same length. I felt as if she was rushing to get to the next person. My concern was that I made an appointment in which she was running late for. She applied the powder and then brought out her handpiece again and this time it was so much worse. She cut me on three fingers. She cut me so bad on one finger I was bleeding for 30 minutes and bleed through the bandaid she gave me on my way out. She was not using any gloves. She kept applying alcohol and then ended up using some powder which didn't work either. My blood was on the nail polish on my finger and she continued to work with it. I was shocked. I really hope my finger doesn't get infected. My nails have never been painted worse in my life. They are very thick. There is nail polish on my skin. She didn't do the sides of the nails or the front of them. She didn't clean underneath my nails. There was excess acrylic underneath and she looked at completely ignoring it. She did not clean up my cuticles, she didn't apply any oil nor did she bring out the hot towel for me. I saw everyone around me getting their cuticles cleaned up, the hot towel, the oil. Why wasn't I receiving the same care? At this point I was over my entire experience. She applied lotion on my hand where I wasn't bleeding and she massaged it in, very aggressively. She did the same on the hand I was bleeding and avoided that one finger that was still bleeding. She put a bandaid and headed to the register. " $30 for you" as if she was giving some sort of dicount? I paid with my debit card. When I got into the car and started driving away I noticed my finger bleeding through my bandaid. I gave her a call and asked for my refund. She advised me to go back into the salon. I reached back and her attitude was horrible. As if I just did something to her? I asked for cash since I paid debit and she refused to give me cash!!!!!! She said she can't because of "tax reasons"!!!! She ended up voiding it on my card and told me to take a seat so she can cut my nails off! I was beyond upset now. She had the audacity to try and force me to sit down so she can do this just because she refunded me! ABSOLUTELY NOT. I did not want this woman ever touching my nails AGAIN. Fast forward to the next day I am in pain. My finger hurts. It is black around the area where she cut me. The standard of care I received at this nail salon was very poor. You should not leave a salon bleeding or in pain!!!!! I would NOT recommend this nail salon to ANYONE. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I spoke to the owner, and I requested a different person for my son's haircut. The next lady was even worse. She started trimming my son's hair like she was brushing trees. She was commanding my 2-year-old as if he were an adult: "You have to look to the side, you need to face down, etc." I decided to intervene and hold my son's head to ease him from the lady's scary behavior. It is such a bad haircut--the finish was misaligned and uneven. I think their approach is to offer cheap haircuts, but quality and attitude are lacking. Affordable does not have to mean unprofessional. I always intend a $20 tip; $10(for bad quality). This lady did not even deserve the $5 I tipped. Anyway, I usually avoid careless and unprofessional businesses like this, but I got caught up this time. I would never return or recommend this place to anyone. I did not understand what they actually do. They do not call themselves barbers, but rather hairdressers. Especially if you have children, do not take them here.
