I can forgive all of this. The real problem was I offered a picture of what I wanted and she stated she understood. The final result was not what I wanted, nor was it like the picture. It was too short. I even asked how much experience she had and I was told she had been doing it 25 years. Wow. I'm not sure what happened. The final straw was when I was leaving she said I owed her $35.00. Not the agreed upon price. I reminded her of the arrangement discussed. Donna complied with hesitation. I gave her $30.00. More than fair I felt. I was told next time it would be $35.00 (plus a tip of course). No worries, I won't be back. Reminder, there was no wash or blow out. Overall I didn't feel listened to. My suggestion to Donna is more listening and less talking by the stylist about everything but what I wanted. I am not looking for a new friend, I just wanted a hair cut similar to my request. Final thought, she recommended getting a trim every three weeks. I am not made of money, I am on disability and that is a silly recommendation Especially after I told you I am Lucky to go every eight weeks. She was trying to push for a follow up.

And when I said I don't see why I should pay for this hair cut, hair dresser said she provided a service and therefore I had to pay. The discussion continued for a few minutes. Then I paid and left. While this 100% was an accident, common courtesy to me is to apologize and not charge for it. 10/10 would NOT recommend and will not be going back.

I bought hair products right from the salon after Belkis recommended them to me for my thinning hair and I bring them with me every time I visit. Walk-ins are welcome but Belkis has other stylists working in the salon so if you're just going for a basic wash, its most likely that her other stylists will do your hair which is totally fine and they're super friendly. They get very busy so appointments are encouraged for people who are getting more time consuming services done such as highlights or relaxers. All in One Hair also has a nail station run by one of the stylists, Osmary. Osmary is also a nail expert who uses OPI colors and Shellac.

LIFE CHANGING! She really took the time to get to know me and my curls making me feel comfortable enough to get a completely new style. The relaxing treatment I got my second visit has held up amazingly well. It's a bit pricey for sure, the downtown parking situation is difficult, and I had to wait several weeks for a (required) "first curl consultation" appointment, but my hair hasn't looked this good in (literally) 60 years - and that makes me feel great.

I specifically came to this salon because I wanted wispy bangs in the style that Koreans typically have them. I contemplated getting a digital perm prior to coming here but decided that I wouldn't. However, the man who worked here convinced me into it. He also tried to convince me into getting highlights, dye, and nails done but I was able to say no to those things. I had 3 workers take care of me that day. The woman was the main haircutter, one man washed my hair, and the 2nd man was the one trying to sell me services but also helped blow dry my hair. I cut over 6 inches off that day and got a super short bob haircut that I love! It is so easy to wash my hair now and my hair feels softer than before. The haircut itself was $30 and the digital perm was $100. Digital perms are a perm style popular in Korea. I thought the process would leave my hair super frizzy but it has been a week already and my hair is not frizzy at all. I also thought that it'd leave my hair wreaking of perm product scent but it didn't either. I was able to wash my hair normal the day after and do everything I normally do with my hair. They said the perm should last around 6 months. With the perm, they can control how curly or wavy you want it. I just wanted a slight wave and the stylist agreed that I shouldn't make it too curly or wavy. She understood what I wanted and I trusted her experience. She's been in this location for around 3 years but prior to this did hair in Korea. My appointment was for 5:30 and they close at 7 but they stayed much later after closing time to finish my perm. The perm itself took around 2 hours to do. The haircut was super quick. I was surprised by how quickly (almost savagely!) she did the haircut and how she chopped off so much length in just one scissor chop rather than multiple snips. The workers there speak limited English but I was able to get my points across with images of hairstyles I wanted. They do nails too. A full set is around $50. There is plenty of parking. They took my appointment via Facebook Messenger request.
