I had the worse experience at this location. I went in for a manicure, and The guy who did my nails did not only damage my nails but filled them short when I didn't ask him too. I had very long natural nails. Not even a week later my nails started breaking and they were also hurting. I was bummed out because it took me almost 4 months to get them to a healthy and long stage to have someone careless mess them up. I had to unfortunately cut them so they could grow again. I had to come in to get some nails fixed that I had done here. Three nails on my right hand broke off doing regular things, so I was going to get them filed down as well as repaired. I was told to have a seat and they would be right with me. After waiting an hour, I was told it was going to be another 40 minutes. I understand that Saturdays are busy. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, however i'd like to leave this review for everyone to BE AWARE. because of the convenient location, I stopped in this shop to get a quick nail color change & shape change. Most shops this would be $5-7. however, here I needed up paying $25. The staff does not follow the prices on their menu, but over charges and adds on random rules to your service so that you will in fact end up paying 2-3x the listed price. Horrible customer service, and the nail tech did not even do a good paint job. Will definitely not be returning here, and there's far better shops to go for price and better service. read more

This is not my usual spot to get my nails done , but was in a time crunch and they were one of the only salons open , I got a fill in and 2 nails fixed w/ no chip and coffin tip , about 10-20 minutes after leaving I broke a nail so I decided to come back and fix it , and it was nice of them to fix for free, but when leaving JENNY says "DONT COME BACK IF IT BREAK AGAIN " ????? Really what kind of customer service is that, they are very rude people , Iv been once before and stopped going for the same reason. This second time was my LAST time. I stumbled upon this place one day on my way home from work. I walked in without an appointment for a no-chip manicure and sat down immediately. My nail tech was friendly and very careful while trimming my cuticles. She was generous with the polish and applied three coats. The end result wasn't super neat but it lasted a little bit over 2 weeks, which is good in my book. The cost for a no-chip manicure is $30 (kind of in the middle of the road). If you're in a pinch and don't have a place to get your nails done, you should give Joy Nails a try. read more

Initially I loved how Tony took extra care while given me a no chip manicure. Tony kept telling me you have strong nails. Upon leaving the shop I noticed my once hard nails were soft and flimsy. Tony over soaked my nails in Acetone to remove the existing polish and one by one each nail bent in the middle and broke off. My worst regret is giving Tony a bigger tip than I should've. I went there about 3 weeks ago to get a mani and pedi and had the worst manicure in my life. The pedicure was not bad but the polish only lasted about a week on my toes. The polish usually last up until I get another pedicure at my usual salon. Back to the manicure. The nail tech had a difficult time removing my cuticle and she did not know how to properly shape my nails. Every other tech was busy otherwise I would have requested another nail tech. I tried to explain to her that she had left a lot of cuticle on my nails but she did not understand. I left there and headed straight to my salon for a proper manicure. I could not believe how much cuticle they removed. You would have never thought that I had just had one done about 20 mins earlier. I decided to get a pedicure on a whim. I had no appointment but they take walk-ins. I had less than a five minute wait. My pedicure person did not speak strong English but she was very nice and did a great job on my nails. As part of the standard pedicure, I received a hot stone leg massage. Upon entering I was going to get an overlay on my nails but since they weren't all even I decided to just get a full set so during this time the ladies I know I'll do this no that's not what I asked for okay fine maybe there was miscommunication because of language barriers. Butt shortly after she started talking to another co-worker in her language about my change so I don't speak it fluently understand it fluently you know specially when they're saying certain words in English. But she didn't rush job on my nails they're decent but not what I expected they're fat and bulky I could have done a better job myself. It started off at $12 for medicare but It went up to 20 bucks I don't know what she was saying but she kept charging me so I asked her how much was the pedicure,medicare she told me $50. But I see a sign on the wall that says $12 for a manicure so I asked her again she told me $20 for me and $25 for my fiance. Surprisingly today I received a notification that me receipt gone up from $50 that I know to $60 due to adjustment they made without my knowledge. I called today and the staff told me that they added $10 after I left because I had a massage! I would give them zero stars if I could. But Ive been coming here for years. I came on a Sunday and they were kinda crowded. I waited a hour and a half because its typically worth the wait. The man was very nice and engaged in conversation. Plus he did my nails before so I felt comfortable. I paid $40 and tipped $5 for the good service (which I now regret). The next day my nails looked horrible rhinestone all gone and nails bumpy. I didn't get mad because there was a lot of people. So I went back the next day and the man who did them orginally wasnt there. There was 3 other people besides me in the shop. So the manager Jennie came to "fix" them. She had a bad attitude, I asked her respectfully to fix them by filing them down to make a smooth surface to paint. She refused to do it since she didnt do it prior and said it was my fault. Which I do admit but I didnt plan on being there for nearly 2 hours for a fill in and had plans. I got mad and said aren't you the manager you should be apologizing and training your employees. She said she wasnt going to do it anymore turned off the light and walked to the back to watch TV. I'm 15 I had to call my dad to talk to her. As soon as he came she started doing what I asked her in the first place. After he left they were talking about the situation using English words to let me know they were talking about me. Because I was the only person getting my nails fixed. 10 minutes after I got home rhinestones begun falling off. Dont waste your time or money. If I could, I would give these people negative stars. They sat here and charged me $80 to get two full sets of gel nails, and they didn't use actual gel. They used acrylic. Their price is for $30 for gel nails. Like, really? How does it turn up to $80? Then, my friend and I go back for a fill in yesterday, and they charge 15 for a fill in. It ended up being $35 for me, and my friend went for a color change.. it's marketed as $7, they sit there and charge her $15. Then they file her nails down too thin, and they break the same day. Today, and I got gel, non chip, and they chip today. Then they kick me and my friend out of the store. In short, go there if you want to be ripped off. read more

I stopped going after a couple tries when Rose left to be with her very young daughters. I am back now as she is the BEST! Her pedicures make my feet look like model feet and I'm 64. She is pleasant, happy, sweet and SO KNOWS HER WORK! It's like WHO SHE IS and not just WHAT SHE DOES. You'll love her! Last time I came here was about 4 years ago for senior year prom. Obviously it was a very important occassion & I had always recieved good service. This time, I got acrylic french tip and I left feeling angry & miserable!! It was the WORST nail experience I've had in my entire life!!! You could totally see my real nail through the acrylics. I asked the lady why & she said "that's the way it's supposed to be." On top of having the worst, most horrid looking nails, she still charged me the normal amount, no discount, no nothing! Just ok. I got an overlay. It was very rushed. There's acrylic on my hands and under several fingers. Also, did not receive a full manicure, or at least I don't feel like I did. They did not clean around or push back the cuticles. They used a huge e-file/drill around the cuticles which was painful. Also, she didn't take care while shaping the nails, none of them are the same length. Definitely not going to come back. read more
