On top of that, I received multiple last-minute cancellation notifications over weekends--three times--which makes it even harder to plan. Trying to cancel my membership has been even more frustrating. I've been attempting for over a month--sent emails and made several calls. I finally managed to speak to someone once, and she mentioned she couldn't process the cancellation because the manager was on maternity leave. She said she would follow up, but I never heard back. After two weeks, I received a response saying my membership would only be paused, not canceled, due to a one-month notice policy. Also, I was once denied entry for being just 7 minutes late, which felt very rigid considering how often classes get canceled on their end. Overall, this has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

She ultimately helped me achieve my goals. I also saw Dr. Victoria postpartum. She helped me safely rebuild my strength so I could work toward my goal of getting back to running. Throughout this entire journey, she was always super positive and extremely encouraging. I also did both prenatal and postpartum pilates with Mika. She is wonderful as well! She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She has played a huge role in helping me regain my strength after having a baby. While Soluguard is EPA-registered to kill some household germs, it's a thyme oil-based product that doesn't provide the necessary level of infection protection against viruses like COVID or RSV in a gym setting. This inadequate hygiene, combined with the owner's indifference to member requests and dangerous habit of propping doors open, creates a serious safety concern.

He looked at us like we had 4 heads and proceeded to tell us that she shouldn't have come if she hadn't done it before and he would have to ask the instructor if she could...instruct... my mother (who is in great shape and shouldn't have trouble picking up reformer) - his reasoning: "there are 9 people and that's a lot". I don't think I have felt less welcome in a Pilates studio and I live in LA. Normally people with injuries and at various levels of their fitness journey are welcome. We walked in and my party of 3 was half of the entire room. Luckily the instructor was gorgeous, and amazing, and sweet, and instructed us with ease. Overall the class was good and at the end, the manager ended up giving us a discount - perhaps he could tell how offended I was? Or felt badly? I always thought that if I wasn't drenched in sweat or gasping for air, it wasn't a "real" workout. I couldn't have been more wrong. I came to IMX Pilates out of necessity. I had surgery for what my doctor described as "the worst type of meniscus tear," and even after a full year of physical therapy, I was still struggling to get back to 100%. I was frustrated and willing to try anything. After hearing several friends rave about how IMX literally fixed their knees, I decided to give their 4-month introductory pass a shot. The results have been nothing short of a miracle. In just four months, my knee has made more progress than it did in an entire year of PT. I finally feel like myself again. And as the absolute icing on the cake? My stomach is flatter and my glutes are more toned than they've been in years. I just renewed my membership because I cannot wait to see what the next four months (and beyond) will do for my body. A huge shoutout to the instructors here--they truly are the BEST.
