I injured my back in December and I reached out to San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy through their web interface. Unlike most other businesses, they got back to me the next day and were able to schedule 6 appointments over the next three weeks. I noticed reduction in pain and improvements with my pain very quickly. The staff did a great job suggesting stretches and exercises that targeted the problem area and always was patient answering my questions and when explaining things clearly. Took forever to schedule my appointment when I was in major amounts of pain. Once I got them scheduled owner deleted my appointments because I was frustrated at their lack of care for me. I just completed my 5 1/2 months of physical therapy for my shoulder with Mark and was very pleased with my wonderful care and results. I had rotator cuff repair surgery. Mark was easy to communicate with and has excellent patient treatment skills. He was compassionate, patient, positive, and helpful. Amazing therapists that don't rush you out the door or leave you unsupervised on a machine.

This week I had one of the worst experiences and how I was treated by one of their therapists. I had bronchitus was wearing a mask and the unmasked therapist told me to get out and she will not treat me. My doctor a local MD has advised me I was not contagious and should go to therapy. Probably the worst I have ever been treated and spoken to by a service person. She had advised she just recovered from being sick for 4 weeks. Why wasn't she wearing a mask? I have called 3 times to speak to the supervisor but only received a one voice mail and no other attempts to connect on their side. read more

I have been coming here for 5 months (pre op/post op) and have a ways to go for recovery. Tori is my PT and she is awesome! really attentive, calm and pushes me just enough so I am challenged while keeping me safe and healthy. The location has an open plan (thought was odd and worried me initially) which means you get to see and get a vibe from all the therapists around and they are all really nice and helpful. Even though they have plenty of patines coming in and out- we are all greeted by the front staff with a kind hello and a smile and they are super helpful. Overall a great experience! read more

Top notch care by super knowledgeable therapists that are passionate about what they do. Emma and Mark are my therapists and they always exceed my expectations. I love that this practice has a forward looking holistic approach and integrates recovery with strength training, Pilates, yoga and other modalities such as cupping. High frequency and massage is always super helpful. Within a short period of time, I've made great progress. As with an PT program, you have to be good about your exercises or you won't see progress. They have a large office space with a variety of equipment so the facility itself is clean and has a variety of tools to help get you back to 100%. read more

Orna is an excellent physical therapist. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and when I began therapy was having difficulty with my gait, balance, stamina and overall mobility. When I completed my sessions I was markedly better in all aspects of my physical condition. Derek is great... he is very knowledgeable and knows how to help you get back to where you were before your surgery or injury. Others there are helpful too. I highly recommend SRVPT. Physical Therapists are great but the office and billing are terrible! Been trying to get my receipts to support the claims for over two months from them. They don't return calls and when they send you documentation, it's incorrect. Make sure to get your receipts at every visit and compare what your health care will cover versus what they charge you. I was overcharged quite a bit and have yet to see my refund that they said was coming to me. I have gone to this place for over 8 years, and I feel it has gone downhill. I will not be returning until they fix my statements and issue my refund. Their book keeping is a mess! read more

I've been going to get therapy from Dominick for my Achilles tendinitis and ankle pain for about 1/2 year now. Very pleasant and knowledgeable therapist! He knows what the root cause of my issues are and what therapy works best. Usually it consists of deep massage on the ankle/leg, followed by ultrasound, and 'tens' muscle/nerve stimulation w/ an ice pack around the ankle. I am moving to Hayward soon and might just consider driving back to the area - because he and his staff (assistant therapists & office staff) are that good! read more

They are the Best. The greetings from the front desk are always friendly and helpful. Tori is who I see regularly and she is outstanding! She has am excellent knowledge of what is going on with me and explains the treatment very well. I also see Sherri sometimes and I am in good hands with her too. She is well aware of my condition and steps right in with my care, right where Tori left off. I have been to SRVPT for other conditions in the past. Awhile back I needed to go elsewhere because both hands and feet were not a treatment available at SRVPT. The PT's were good, but not as good as Tori and Sherri. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the entire excellent staff/team, who made me feel at ease and comfortable during my treatment. To the receptionists, the PT assistants, and the PTs, thank you for getting me back to my normal self. I was doubtful about my left shoulder ever healing completely after a corrective surgery six months apart, and the scar tissue that resulted from it. The constant dull pain at day and the throbbing pain at night cast the doubt; but after almost nine months, I can CONFIDENTLY say it is HEALED. I say this because, I started Pilates classes couple of months ago, and I was struggling; Derek, my PT, encouraged me to keep going and I am glad I did. I noticed since last week that I could finish a class without much pain and I could sleep well without my hot water bottle which usually calms down the throbbing pain. So this week, I did regular and stretch classes in a day, few hours apart and I was able to sleep with no pain; I challenged myself yet again with another class the following day and I was just fine. So THANK YOU Derek, I am grateful to you just as I am to Dr. Kirk Jensen who sent me your way. Better late than never, a BIG thanks to Mark Cubillas who also localized a sciatica that was shooting unbearable pain through my right leg. It appears the company does not have sufficient admin staffing to handle the volume of clients. I called over a month ago to set up an appt and validate my benefit coverage. I have a BCBS PPO; therefore, the benefits are better then most heath care plans. I provided detailed information to Susan and asked her to verify benefits. She came back and said all good, $40/visit co-pay. On my first visit she tells me there will be a $300 deductible, which is incorrect. I tried to follow up with her the same day and she had left for the day. I sent her an email asking her to confirm in writing if she would be billing BCBS under the facility name or the therapist name. No response. I called her four times. No answer. I emailed her twice, no reply. I filled out a bunch of paper on-line, then I had to redo this on paper when I came in. The point of doing this on-line is to save paper and time. Neither objective was met. Need to revamp process flows. read more
