Buy elsewhere. They look fine, but construction is terrible and customer service is worse. I purchased a sleeper sofa for over $2300.00-on sale from $3,300.00. It's passable as a couch, but unusable as a sleeper. The bed folds into itself out of the box. It's uncomfortable for one and unusable for two. When I inquired, Joybird said that this is a commone feature of ALL sleeper sofas everywhere and they directed to Amazon to purchase an item for $130 that would help mitigate the issue. I expect more from a couch that they say is worth over $3,000. Poly & Bark is a way better option for a similar price point. Go to them. read more

Don't do it. The production of the sofa has not even started, but you can't cancel ! The time guesstimate has been pushed back three times already and this is before they even started production. One month later and they have not even started ! Instant regret !!! So they have not started production at all in the last month. We bought a sofa, which was delivered on October 23. It broke within a week because of faulty installation. We contacted the customer service and initiated a warranty claim on October 30, we are still waiting for a final response on when they will fix it, and on what kind of compensation will they provide because we will be without a sofa most likely for over a month. Making things worse I have folks coming for Thanksgiving, which I'm supposed I guess to sit on an imaginary sofa. I have contacted them every day, only to get a different customer service associate repeating that they can only discuss compensation after the claim is closed, and to not provide me with a clear date. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP. IT LOOKS PRETTY but it depends on work in Mexico, which makes for even replacing the foot of the sofa a nightmare. read more

The platform made it easy to jump from style to style and see the different materials and colors available for each piece. Of course, the measurements provided for each piece is quite important and very handy. I appreciated the availability of reviews as well. After days of browsing various different furniture stores, Joybird's showroom and selection definitely stood out to us! We really love how Joybird offers couches of various heights, the object of our search, especially since we were looking for something a bit lower to the ground. Ana was very attentive as soon as we stepped foot in the store. We spent some time looking around on our own at first, and she came to check on us once we took out the measuring tape. After getting a good sense of what we were looking for, she talked us through the specifications of a couple different couches that sounded like the right fit, landing on the Lewis sectional. Ana patiently answered all of our questions with expertise, without any pressure to buy. She sent us home with a box of swatches and her email, in case we decided to move forward with a purchase. As it turned out, this is exactly what we ended up doing. My partner and I are so excited for our very first big furniture purchase together! We ended up going with the Royale Forest Lewis Sectional, paired with contrasting Royale Hacienda decorative pillows. This outdoor couch took my space from empty and bland to elegant and chic. The number one comment I get is how fancy it is. However, they don't see how durable and easy to clean it is. I love this piece because it is a metal frame, not plastic. I originally had my eye on a wooden set, but knew this would hold up over time. The day I got it two dogs jumped up on it with muddy paws and it cleaned up surprisingly well with a little effort. Overall, I am so happy about my purchase. read more

I'm back for my fifth furniture purchase with Joybird. I've purchased the Preston Sofa Set twice for two different homes. The first set was asked by the buyer to be included in the purchase of the house. I've supported them since the early days when they were a much smaller operation out of Austin, TX. I was so glad that quality and service did not decline when they were later acquired my Lay-Z-Boy. I re-purchased the set again for our new home years ago and it still looks and functions as if it's brand new. Most recently, I purchased the Lewis single arm chaise and Lewis Grand Daybed for our theatre room. Perfect pieces to enjoy movies on with the family! I got my nearly $3000 sectional in 5/24. I've used the sleeper portion exactly 3 times. After the 3rd time some kind of silver bar fell on the floor and a silver handle like thing was hanging from the bottom of the bed. Customer service just informed me... not their problem, but I still have "lifetime " warranty. I don't know the point of a lifetime warranty if it covers nothing that's part of the sofa? Two weeks ago I purchased a lazy boy recliner, which I will attempt to cancel. I will also contact every consumer protection agency I can. Very expensive but very poor quality product. read more

We told her our needs and that I had been viewing the sofas with loungers online and had to see the colors and fabrics in person. Joybird - A Complete Rip-Off This has been the worst shopping experience of my life. I purchased a couch for my New York apartment, fully expecting a smooth delivery. I measured the elevator, hallway, and entryways before placing the order--doing my due diligence as a customer. However, I'm not an architect, and I cannot predict how the angles and dimensions would play out with a large piece of furniture. When the delivery team arrived, they claimed the corridor wasn't wide enough to remove the couch from the elevator and that the stairs were also not an option due to the weight and space constraints. They told us we were welcome to try carrying it ourselves--completely unreasonable. In the end, they took the couch back. I contacted Joybird to ask if they could disassemble and reassemble the couch for an additional fee, but they refused. They also informed me that there would be no refund because the fabric was made to order. So now, I am left with no couch and no refund. There has been zero attempt to accommodate or support me. One representative did say we would receive a 50% refund, but now I'm being told that the item hasn't been received at the warehouse, so they can't process it. It's been 11 days, and apparently, the couch is now "missing." I've been told conflicting things by multiple representatives--some say I won't get a refund at all, others say I need to wait another 5-7 business days. At this point, I don't know what to expect, but one thing is certain: I will never purchase from Joybird again, and I'll make sure everyone I know avoids them as well. This is truly unacceptable. read more
