I was pumped to come here for furniture, especially seeing their good reviews online. However, I did not even want to step in after peeping inside. The whole place looked like a mess and was very far from the images online. They did not have a nice furniture display at the front window; it was just random mattresses stacked on top of each other. Prices are very reasonable, and the selection is significantly broader than what you see displayed in the store. Nabil worked with us to identify a piece that looked good and that would be easy to move in and out of our apartment, which has a narrow, curving stairwell. This place was great. We were on the fence about the couch, and ended up going back a few times before we ordered it. I'm glad we ordered it from here because the customer service was fantastic. Nabil helped us think through the logistics (e.g., will the couch fit through our apartment door?) and was a pleasure to work with. Additionally, the delivery people were courteous and friendly. Be very careful with this company and ensure that you have everything written down before you pay. We ordered a couch 3 weeks in advance, paid in cash, and discussed the date and time that we would pick it up (we had pre-arranged movers and a truck). We ensured that everything was on track a few days before the scheduled date and were told that everything is "all set." The scheduled date and time comes, and the couch still hasn't been delivered to the store from the warehouse. This goes on for HOURS- we ended up receiving the couch 5.5 hours LATER than what was discussed- and we had to continuously call Nabil to ask for status updates. By the time he received it at his store, we no longer had the uhaul we'd rented or people to help us move it into the apartment. After calling Nabil multiple times to check on the progress of the couch being delivered from the warehouse, he finally agreed to deliver it (or so we thought). Instead, he dropped it off on our curb (we're talking about a 1200 total pound couch in 2 pieces) and said he couldn't help us get it upstairs because he has "another delivery to do in the city." We then spent the next 2 hours (no joke) getting it into the apartment after paying 4 people to help us. This entire scenario would have been avoided if the couch had been available at the pre-arranged time as we had movers and a truck at that time to help us. Absolutely cannot trust this store to keep their word, and that's unacceptable when buying something so far in advance and discussing with the owner. read more

The most honest man in Brooklyn. My wife and I stopped by this shop last night before closing. We just moved to Brooklyn 3 days earlier, not all of furniture made it with us, and we were very stressed about not being able to unpack boxes because we didn't have our usual bookcase storage and dresser. We thought we had measured correctly for replacement furniture, but when we got home realized that in our exhausted state we hadn't measured correctly and the replacement pieces wouldn't fit. We showed up at the store this morning when they opened and - despite the usual no refund policy - Nabil took pity on us and refunded our money and cancelled our order. We offered him a restocking fee for his trouble because we felt awful. After meeting Nabil, along with his son and daughter-in-law, I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the market for new furniture. We thought his prices were fair and - unlike Ikea - he arranges for construction and delivery. You're also supporting a family-owned business that truly cares about its customers. read more
