Thank You to Timory and Joel at "Aloha Ever After" for making our special day the most amazing…read moreexperience ever! When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done!

First, I want to say Diana is super nice. There a few reviews that mentioned slow response time, so…read moregoing in I was aware of that. In the beginning responses to emails were pretty prompt (within 2-3 days). I had 6 months to plan my wedding and it was to be a simple affair with just my groom and I. So, I wasn't too worried about getting a response within 24 hours. I did notice that response time was a little quicker if you called vs. email, but like I said I had plenty of time so the 2 to 3 days was fine for my situation. Diana was always kind even when I changed my mind about 100 times on my bouquet and other things. Always reassuring me that it's what I want and to make sure I remember that because she didn't want me to settle even if it meant making a million changes. :) She met with us the day after we got on the island and took us to our beach choices, even adding one at the last minute that she thought we may like. Then on the day of the wedding she called to make sure we were doing well and on time. During that conversation I mentioned liking another beach better than the one we chose. Even though it was about an hour before the ceremony she offered to change to location......making her job 1000 times harder. In the end, we did NOT make the change and everything was absolutely perfect. Diana had done/set up everything I asked. My bouquet was perfect and just like the picture I sent her. Our cake was moist and very good. The rose petals were scattered on the ground just the way I asked and our lei's were fresh and beautiful. I definitely would use Diana again. Although, I don't plan on getting married again as I got the perfect guy :)

I wish there was an option for zero stars…read more I first contacted Diana from Alohana Weddings in mid August of 2011. She got back to me right away with a laundry list of vendors and proceeded to talk a million miles a minute, but within the conversation, never stopped to ask what my vision was or what my budget was. Once I got the info from her, I set up another call and weeks went by before we connected again. It was only after I sent an email threatening to fire her that she quickly called me back. At this point she sent a catering proposal that was completely incorrect; food choices and services were wrong. When I responded with a request for another call to discuss the discrepancy and also get a full proposal so we could budget correctly I heard nothing. Weeks went by, multiple emails sent with no responses or even acknowledgement. Now it's November...THREE MONTHS after our initial call. With it being less than six months from my wedding that is going to be held 3,000 miles away, without a single confirmation with a vendor, still no catering contract, and no cost breakdown I realized that there was no way I could trust Diana to follow through and sent her an email requesting to terminate her services. She, of course, quickly responded when she received this email. She had charged an up-front deposit of $300.00 and in her response said that she would be keeping the deposit because of the work she had done so far; one thing being that she had booked our photographer. When I told me new coordinator the photographer, she reached out to them and they told her that I was not booked. She sent me a list of vendors that were allegedly booked, but with Diana who knows what had been done and what was fabricated. All this to say, I do NOT recommend Diana Gardner and Alohana Weddings; she herself called this instance "embarrassing" and "a learning lesson" (ALL ON MY DIME). She wasted valuable planning time and made the last three months extremely stressful and now I have to start planning my wedding from scratch and fight for an undeserving $300 deposit. STAY AWAY!!!
