You WILL laugh and joke and chat and feel like you made a friend, and leave her business sort of stunned that you got all that plus a fantastic wax. You don't have a choice. Because Kat is THROUGH. I have never had a wax this smooth or this complete. She even denuded my lower belly ("this happy trail is not so happy") and parts of my upper thighs I'm too lazy to always shave ("it's messing up my masterpiece"). She used three different kinds of wax and was intensely efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She also didn't make me feel like a fat glob of rolling and undulating lard deposits, as is so often the case for big girls when we get waxed. She asked me to hold some of my skin tight, but I never felt grotesque or like I didn't belong there. I also had much less irritation than I've had with other wax experiences, and I really like that she didn't tell me to come back in four weeks. Six to eight. That seems so much more rational, manageable. Very refreshing. Bottom line: go see Kat. Your confidence will skyrocket ... but it might be difficult to resist the urge to show everyone how dang smooth you are down there.

I have never been so pleased with a massage!!…read more I am by no means a massage snob, but I do work on my feet a lot being in the service industry and working with a residential painting company 40+ hours a week. I also suffer from severe migraines and sciatica. Every masseuse I have been to always asks where I want extra attention but I've never had anyone deliver like Erin! She has a lot of knowledge in the area and has taken extra courses to provide AMAZING relief for people who suffer from pain like myself. She not only focused on problematic areas through massage, but she also helped me with stretching. Erin is super friendly and spectacular at her job. After my last manicure with Mai, my nails have never been so healthy and long before. She is so meticulous with not only the quality of her work, but also with ensuring the health of your nails, and I shows in the strength of my nail and the retention of her gel/acrylic work. After my nightmare of an experience at a previous salon, Mai is quite honestly my hero. Throughout the entire service, she is double and triple checking the quality of her work, she obviously has such a passion for what she does. This time at the salon, I also got a pedicure. I haven't had one in quite a while (like a good two years) so Mai had her work cut out for her. She did such an amazing job. My skin hasn't been this soft in a long time! I was going to her prior to her opening her own place and it was a no brainer to follow her once she opened her new salon post-Lucca closing. Every cut and color is exactly what you want and it looks good. Jalena is also good about giving you advice about the look you're looking for so you can look your best coming out. The new place is very modern yet cozy inside and the attention is completely personal and you're not waiting forever between appointments inside. In fact, she was extremely sympathetic and happy to take my appointment even though she would be fixing someone else's bad work. She told me about a time she'd gotten her hair done with disastrous results and had a hard time finding a salon to help her fix it, after which she vowed never to do the same thing to her customers. She was lovely and warm, and the lash extensions she gave me looked excellent, even though I didn't have much to work with. The spa itself is very clean and bright, smelled lovely and was inviting and comfortable. I can't recommend Reisa and her spa too highly. Go there! You won't be disappointed.
