I always find a good place to get my nails done and stay forever till I move. I get ANC nails done every 3 weeks and a terrific pedicure. I work over 50 hours a week on my feet overnight and I like to pamper myself when I can. Mick, Dolly and Kevin are truly the best at their craft. Always welcoming. The shop has a relaxed vibe and you don't get hit in the face by the smell of product as you walk in the door. Make an appointment for the pick of your nail tech. Otherwise you will get who is open. I have been going to Spring Nail for several months now and really find them professional and their services excellent. I get ANC nails every 3 weeks and my favorite technicians are DAVID & EMMA. I always make an appointment which I think helps. Today I had David do my manicure and even though I had special requests, he did not hesitate to try something new. I promised him that next time I'd keep it simple and just get one color but that's probably not true . I've had pedicures there as well and they, too, were excellent. I went to this place for a mani-pedi before a friend's wedding in Saratoga. I appreciate that there was no wait for this walk-in and the shop looked pretty clean. I'm not, however, convinced that the tools used on my little piggies were all sterilized between uses on different clients. Also, I wasn't impressed with the service I received. I may have had the owner - she was much more concerned about what everyone else was doing and constantly looking around and talking instead of paying attention to my mani-pedi. I normally get a cute design on my big toes and I sprung the extra $5 for that here too, but the design looked like a 5-year old painted flowers on my foot. I should have known that her skills weren't quite up to par when she was fawning over the design that I came in with. Maybe I'm a spoiled little princess who is picky about her pedicures, but I'm surprised that the high-end clientele of Saratoga Springs is keeping this place in business. read more

Callous sloughing, hot parafin wax on my heels, scrub, clay leg mask, another 10min massage on feet & legs then the hot towels!!! So thorough and then...my toes! Perfect nail clip & filing..such perfect polish application...he treated every toe with such care! A true perfectionist! I'm a NYC gal & was visiting Saratoga for the weekend & I wanted to kidnap this man & bring him to NYC where incidentally there is NO one better than him & NYC is way more $$$$! Brought my mother here for a mani-pedi and was overall very pleased. Standard Saratoga price of $35 for the mani-pedi with the added bonus of a hot wax treatment for the heels, which is not standard in Saratoga. The young gentlemen taking care of our nails were friendly and professional. Nice-foot calf massages. I didn't feel like they were trash talking the state of my feet behind my back either, which is always nice... I would highly recommend making an appointment. In my experience, all of the nail salons in Saratoga tend to be busy. We went mid-morning on a Monday and it was packed. The manager got a little visibly exasperated when there was a sudden flood of walk-in after walk-in, none of whom wanted to wait. Signs ask for tips in cash if possible but credit cards are accepted. read more

Negatives: how one is greeted by a masked woman who grunts with little direction of where one is supposed to go, being shuffled off to a pedicure chair with the hot water turned on and no one concerning themselves with if its too hot, too cold- fortunately an employee turned it off before it overflowed. Same problem with different color nail polish - old and thick and smeared despite half an hour under nail dryer. Their English is fine to offer increased services and charges but fails when raising a concern or problem. Left salon with three smeared nails and simply gave up. Had already spent over an hour there and wasted $60. Perhaps if you bring your own polish? Their color nail products are old I suspect. Disappointing. read more

From the owner barking commands at me from the moment I walked in the door to the nail tech asking me questions with a mask over her face so I could never understand her. Then both treating me like a criminal when I wrote a check to pay for the services. So I ripped up the check, paid with my credit card and walked out without finishing my manicure. My pedi was good but my mani was 5 seconds they didn't clip my hangnails, file, or push back my cuticles. All I got was a short massage. And during my pedi she got up for 10 mins to talk to a friend. And I found out that the reason she hurried me was because she need to talk to her house designer. But my mom and grandmother got a full half hour mani and like a 50 mins pedi. My first time trying this salon and I was very disappointed. They allowed me to come in for a mani/pedi an hour before they closed and it seems that was a mistake. The guy who serviced me was clearly annoyed and in a rush to be done for the day. He was gruff, rough, sloppy and cut me twice. He also did a really crappy job on my finger nails and he didn't even give my hands a massage at all (which has always been included at other places). He rushed through it all and didn't even bother to hide his annoyance. Not a way to win over a new client. I came a few weeks ago to get my nails done the day before my wedding. I had made an appointment months in advance, and had called three times in the months leading up to the wedding, just to confirm that they still had my appointment, and they did. When we came in, they started us right away, which was great. I was with my mom, mother in law, and other family members/bridal party members. There were a total of 9 of us. Everyone else had a good experience except me and one of my sisters. My sister said that her manicurist didn't really listen to her about the color and the way she wanted her nails, but she was generally happy with the service so she didn't say anything. My pedicure was great, but the trouble started with the manicure. I wanted a shellac manicure with a color that was close to my toenail color. I had already picked out the color, and the manicurist assured me it was what I wanted. When she put it on however, it was completely different from how it looked on the nail sample, how it looked on the polish bottle itself, and different from my toenail color. Normally I would just accept it and probably pay less tip, but since this was for my wedding I wanted to make sure I got exactly what I envisioned. Long story short, the manicurist had to redo my nails FOUR TIMES. She argued with me every step of the way until her boss yelled at her. Then she did a complete 180 and said things like, "You're the boss today; it's your special day; you can have whatever you want." She kept helping me choose a color to get what I wanted, and assuring me it was the right color every time. Then when she applied it, it looked nothing like the sample or the label. But each time, she tried to convince me that it matched the sample and matched my toes! I know she could see it did not match; she simply wanted the job to be done. When she was finally done, she went back to her original rude attitude and said something like, "You can go now". I wish I remember what her name was, because I would then file a formal complaint. Two nails were cracked in about 5 days, and 8 out of my 10 nails were cracking after a week. Normally my shellac manicures last 2 weeks, with maybe only 1 nail cracked. You should only go here if you want to pay normal/high prices for a mediocre manicure and a poor experience. I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because everyone else had a good experience. It seems like they will do a fine job unless they mess up, and then they don't readily admit their mistakes or want to fix them. read more

I had one of the worst experience at this nail salons hands down. I came in with my fiancé and we both received a pedicure and I got manicure, everything was great until the very end of our visit. I was checking out and my card had been declined due to a hold on my bank account. As I tried to explain that I could only pay a certain amount due to what happened with my account. I was told that I had to give them my ID and also pay them by the next day or I would have cops at my door. Mind you they did this right I front of all their customers and I was humiliated. I explained to them that my bank said the money would be in by Wednesday and I was told that wasn't their problem. I can understand that people steal and try to put one over on salons all the time but I work hard for my money and would never do something like that. Fast forward to today and they tried to up-charge me and told me I owed more than originally told. Again they decided to make a scene and try to humiliate me again. I will never come back to this place especially after looking at my nails and seeing that I have cuts from them shaving down my nails, all over my fingers. Never again read more
