A warm shout-out to Dr. Jones, Katlyn, her veterinary assistant, and Kayen at the front desk for treating Tweetie--my beloved Queen of Bavaria Conure--with such kindness, patience, and respect, and for finding a way to work us in as new patients the very same day. Birds can decline with heartbreaking speed, and heading into a holiday weekend with a very sick bird was frightening. Your willingness to help immediately meant more than you know. Dr. Jones was thorough, thoughtful, and incredibly educational. She performed same-day blood work and Gram stains, then took the time to explain the findings, what they meant, and the path forward. I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident that Tweetie was receiving excellent care. After recently losing my dog, Skye, my emotions have been very close to the surface. The kindness shown to me during this visit did not go unnoticed. You understand that these extraordinary little creatures are not "just pets"--they are family. I am extremely disappointed with how this veterinary hospital handled my bird's bloodwork…read more I paid for a chemistry panel, but two of the results came back as zero, including potassium. These results were obviously not accurate, and I was told that the hospital's machine had malfunctioned. Since the testing error was caused by their equipment--not by anything I did--I reasonably expected them to repeat the incomplete and inaccurate panel at no additional charge. Instead, the hospital has refused to redo the chemistry panel unless I pay for it again. I do not believe a customer should have to pay twice for a test simply because the clinic's machine failed the first time. I paid for complete, accurate bloodwork and did not receive it. This is especially upsetting because pet owners depend on veterinary professionals for reliable medical information. When testing equipment fails, the clinic should take responsibility and correct the problem--not pass the cost on to the client. I attempted to resolve this directly with the hospital before posting this review, but they still refused to provide the repeat chemistry panel at no charge. I cannot recommend a veterinary hospital that will not stand behind the medical testing its clients have already paid for.
