Update as of 04/26/2019: Jasen Pollock agreed to meet with us today with the implied intent of returning our deposit. Instead met with us giving additional excuses as to why the work hasn't been done and why he has been nonexistent with responses. He also claimed that his company is going bankrupt and therefore couldn't return our deposit. After the continuing issues, we have met with a lawyer and will be filing our small claims Monday, April 29th. I went ahead and also filed a police report today considering others have filed as well. If you are experiencing issues with JP Home Exteriors and you are thinking of filing a police report, let them know that there is now an on going investigation for theft and fraud with the Lakewood PD along with the other reviewer's case in Colorado Springs PD. read more

Jasen and JP Home Exterior made our little house look like a brand new home. We are so happy with the way it turned out. His team of 2 was able to install beautiful blue vinyl over old asbestos wood siding in TWO DAYS! It turned out amazing with very few and very minor issues, which they also fixed within days. The installation team was professional - coming on time the days they were supposed to be there. We were/are impressed with their level of professionalism and eye for the details. With an old 50s ranch home, not everything is square, but they made it work. From an office standpoint, Heather was great to work with and provided week to week information on what we should expect and when. Jasen is also super personable and knows his stuff about siding. We'll keep JP on the list if we ever need our roof done. We won't need siding anytime soon. read more

I have been a homeowner for over 15 years and have owned 3 separate homes in 2 different states. I have worked with contractors on large (kitchen remodel, bathroom blowout, etc.) and small (replacing an exterior door) projects. My experience with Jasen Pollock (owner) and Heather Romero (office assistant) has been by far the worst experience I have ever had working with contractors. I went under contract for a roof replacement covered by insurance with JP Home Exteriors October of 2018. Work was not complete until October 2019. I gave them a sizable initial deposit, which they sat on for about 9 months with minimal communication on their part. When I learned that State Farm was dropping my homeowners insurance with only a month's warning, I asked if JP could possibly bump me up in their schedule so that I would not have a lapse in homeowner's insurance. I was initially told they could not accommodate me. It was only after I asked for a refund and used the word "lawyer" that they were somehow able to fit me in. My roof was complete in time, but their subcontractors did careless work and damaged my home (which JP did half-heartedly fix). JP Home Exteriors also did not pay one of their subcontractors, which delayed final completion of the job for about 2 months. During this time (before all the work was done) JP repeatedly asked me when they would get paid (the answer being the bank would not release the funds until the work is 100% done). Once the job was finally complete, they contacted me on a near daily basis to ask when they would get paid. I suppose they were trying to make up for their lack of communication during the job and the 9 months prior. The insurance payout was managed by my mortgage holder, and the total turnaround time for the mortgage company to send an inspector after the job was 100% complete and issue me a check was less than 2 weeks. They also lied to me, their subcontractor, and my insurance company (which I have documented in emails). I will never work with this company again, and I hope you won't either. read more

If I could, I would rate this company with NO STARS. This company's president and owner Jasen Pollock is the epitome of a "snake oil salesman." He will say anything and will stop at nothing to get the sale -- including phone harassment. I initially liked the guy, because he can be very personable ( like a snake), but as soon as he has your money, the communication literally stops. We wanted a complete siding of our home. We signed on in mid-December 2017 and were promised that our job would begin around February 25th, 2018, as per the sales agreement. By April 25th, 2018, WORK STILL HAD NOT BEGUN!!!. In the first week of February, we decided to change the color choice of our siding. We contacted JP Home Exteriors and were told that it would be "no problem." When I asked when our job would begin, I was told that hail claims and the weather had backed up the company -- on this, one of the mildest Denver winters in recent memory. In late February, we were told there were three jobs in front of us.... so that it would be about three weeks until they could start. In mid-March, when WE contacted JP yet again to ask about the status of our job, we were told that there were delays because we had changed the color of the siding!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! No communication, no apology. When work finally did begin in May, installers began by starting to wrap the house in plastic -- even though we had paid for a 1/2-inch styrofoam insulation. When that was brought to the attention of the young project manager, he had no idea what we were talking about. Contacting Jasen, yet again, he agreed (the only time he agreed to anything during this nightmare) that we had paid for the insulation. The product had to be ordered (ugh!!). One wall of the house took one week -- the total time promised in December and again in April for completing the entire job. The problems continued. The project manager did not check -- even then -- to make sure all the materials ordered were on site. It turns out we were not given all the soffits that the project required. More full day delays. To top it off, we found out after the fact that the sub-contracted installation crew was angry because their employer had not been paying them for past jobs already completed. These were angry men, and they took it out on the quality they delivered to our job. They left huge messes in my front yard (especially over Mother's Day weekend), they left fast food containers in my yard for my dogs to feast upon, and they showed up for work when they felt like it -- most days after 11am. When questioned about the quality, the unprofessional project manager tried to argue with me instead of taking responsibility. In short, this company should be out of business. They over-promise, under-deliver, argue with the customer on ever aspect, and treat you like you don't even matter. When I voiced my anger and frustration with Jasen over the phone, his response was, "you're breaking up, I can't hear you." Save yourself a lot of stress: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EMPLOY THIS COMPANY TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. That is, unless you like mediocre, unprofessional work performed on your home by angry, messy installers who work for confrontational, argumentative, untruthful people who have no idea what they are doing. read more

We signed a contract with JP Home Exteriors to replace our roof from hail damage in early June 2017. It's now almost three months later and the roof has not been replaced. We have materials waiting. They keep not showing up and have given us every excuse in the book. The company is incredibly mismanaged and I do not recommend them AT ALL. Every week they say, "The roofers will be there on Tuesday or Thursday." The week goes by and no one shows up and they don't even call us. This is completely unacceptable. read more

I signed a contract with JP Home Exteriors on 9/14/2015 to install James Hardie siding on my home. The total cost of the job is $24,505. The week of October 20 material was delivered and left of my driveway. It rained and snowed on the material for 2 days. I emailed the company on October 27 to say that work wasn't started. They told me they would get a crew ASAP. The job was started. I was concerned with the installation practices and called the company the first day. No response. On Nov 12 I emailed and left a voicemail stating that the job didn't look like it was being completed properly. No response. I sent an email Nov 14 with concerns. No response. I sent an email Nov 16 to say that I had concerns and still didn't have gutters. With the snow gutters were a concern. The project manager emailed and said he would stop by. On November 20 I emailed and left a voicemail asking that the owner contact me because I believed that he should see the job in person. No response. November 23 the owner emailed and said that the project manager would call me. I never heard from him. On December 9 I had a meeting with the owner and the project manager. I went over all of my concerns. He agreed to make repairs and created a contract with the repairs detailed. He also requested that I pay him the second portion of the contract so he could buy more material. He stated that he already paid the sub contractor and needed the money to buy material. At this time his project manager walked the roof and pointed out that there were areas of the roof that were damaged and I should call my roofer for warranty work. #### roofing did my roof and closed out the permit with Centennial. I asked ### roofing to look at the roof. They came out and let me know that the siding company removed all of the drip edging and step flashing was pulled away from the wall. I have pictures that were taken in September by American Family. In these pictures you can clearly see that the roof didn't have any damage. American Family concluded that the roof had no hail damage or other damage. American Family did point out that the siding was old. This was why I decided to replace it. #### roofing also let me know that with our current snow storm that I will probably see leaking in the roof when the snow melts. The owner of JP Exteriors continues to make excuses and place blame on others. As of April 2016 the job is not complete read more

This team did a great job getting our house repaired from the hail storm. They worked with the insurance for us and came back and made sure everything was done well and correctly even if subcontractors made a mistake. They didn't make excuses and did all they could to fix it. We are using them for another project here at our house and appreciate their honesty and quality work. read more

We signed a contract with JP Home Exteriors at the end of June. They didn't begin work until the middle of October, they didn't know what the job entailed when they finally got to it, they did amateur work, made so many mistakes and did so many things wrong they had to do a lot of it over again. They ran their truck into our fence that had to be rebuilt, didn't return phone calls, failed to show up when they said they would, and didn't finish until March. This is an update on our experience with JP Home Exteriors (Jason Pollock). After six months of back and forth, Jason finally refunded our total construction deposit, $14,500.00 and his check did clear his bank. As you have seen on our previous messages, Jason defaulted on our project which included siding replacement, garage door replacement, and new gutters and down spouts. When he defaulted on the contract he repeatedly refused to refund our money. If you intend to sign a contract with him, please protect yourself. Read the contract carefully, he uses a roofing contract for all contracted work, which leaves you, his client in a poor legal position. He does not carry Workman's Comp Insurance, so if he falls off your roof or gets hurt on your property, your insurance is on the line. He uses Subcontractors, not his company employees, that sometimes are not promptly paid, so they do not honor HIS promised schedule or warranty work. With Subcontractors, you will be responsible for tracking their individual insurance certificates to insure that they can not file a claim against your property if injured. If you are currently in a bind with JP Home Exteriors, Inc., file a written police report and let your officer know that the Colorado Springs Police Department Detectives have an established case against him for theft and fraud. read more

Nothing but praises for this company and it's workers. When Jasen shakes your hand and looks you in the eye telling you they'll do a great job for you...believe it. We had our roof replaced. Gave great advice and delivered on an upgraded hail resistant shingle that instantly saved me 20 percent on my homeowners insurance bill. Workers very professional and left the house clean.
