Not only did he do that, but when I asked him to install my toilet, he quoted me, started putting it in and then pointed out a problem that meant I actually needed to replace the toilet. He could have just installed it, pocketed the money and been on his way but instead he told me he'd come back to install it after the new toilet arrived, and you know what? I believe him. Although Gene was in bed, once he heard my situation and knew that I was in trouble, he understood the consequences of not fixing the pump then and there and he told me give him a few minutes, he would get dressed and he'd be over. He landed over fifteen minutes later and he was an absolute pro! He fixed my problem and repaired the shoddy workmanship of a previous plumber. He was very old school and was very reasonable for the late night repair and emergency situation. He is very knowledgeable and really, just a nice guy.
